What search option are you talking about? Search on "New" is the same, search on "Relevant" is different and that is understandable. We don't know what criteria goes in Relevant; different sites, different searches, different views and downloads. I don't think it has anything to do with search algorithm and if so....their sites, their rules, fair or not.

What about this site: see the URL in the quote. Free download for commercial use, vectors/ photos, some need credit and some have this note:

Thanks Jo Ann for the detailed info. I always keep emails from agencies but I don't have any from 123.

I emailed support before I opened this thread, no answer yet.

@Anthony,
We know what stays in the FAQ but last month payment was late too (for some of us).

« on: June 16, 2016, 07:19 »
On my earnings page June's earnings are still added to the earnings balance, not set back to 0. Is this done only on SS, I don't remember how this works on 123?

Well, a few days delay is not the end of the world but a promise is a promise. We should know what to expect, if it is the 15th, it shouldn't be the 20th. I never had this problem with 123 before.

I'm holding my other payments (probably others too) because I don't want to pay withdrawing fees for each chunk.

« on: June 15, 2016, 11:59 »
It is up again. It was down for about two hours.

Edit: I was wrong, only the main page is up but after I sign in I got the: "Moved Temporarily. Redirecting to......" but nothing happens.

Dreamstime.com / Re: DT has died for me
« on: June 14, 2016, 11:20 »
DT always was a low earner for me but never as bad as in the last month. I have 1 download $0.35 in the last 21 days. It's time for me to stop uploading there.

Dreamstime.com / Re: Is this a new DT site???
« on: June 14, 2016, 00:36 »
Yes, I see now the referral ID on the image page though such a domain name could be quite expensive for just some referral money. Is it worth it, who knows?

All pages load in English for me, is that different for you or why do you want to select English? That's a simple G00gle translate widget that translates the current page. Yes, the site looks very amateurish but I think this was the intention.

Dreamstime.com / Is this a new DT site???
« on: June 13, 2016, 12:41 »
Yesterday I was looking for some images and I found this site http://www.stockphotos.ro.
Apparently it belongs to DT but it looks very mysterious, no menu, no search box and the front page changes all the time, though  the images are linked to DT.

What is this?

« on: June 12, 2016, 14:53 »
Finally I got the hang of it. I had to go through five loads of new images that were loaded after I checked the first requested ones. Each time new images were loaded instead of the checked  ones.

After each series of check marks there is a prompt in red that you should select more images but after the third round I thought it's broken, still I continued clicking so about 5 rounds and finally I won this "stupid computer game".

Now you know, if this happens to you, just keep clicking.

It's a shame that we have to waste so much time just to sign in to SS.

Bigstock.com / Re: Instant review
« on: June 12, 2016, 14:25 »
And it would be nice to see comissions like the other agencies at bigstock, but sadly we don't always get what we want, or ever in this business.

Yes, sales and commissions are miserable at BS, at least for me.

« on: June 12, 2016, 12:59 »
It's the second time now that I have these lightning fast reviews, under five minutes, not that I complain.
It would be nice to see the same speed at other agencies too.

You, me and several millions of other people pick numbers which look like street numbers for them. If 100 000 users tell this pic is a street number - well, it surely is :)
You could be right although you, I and several millions of other people pick numbers which we know they want us to pick. I don't know any European countries where streets have numbers, they have names and houses have numbers.
Anyway, the same thing happens when I have to choose "green grass" or "water bodies",  the image doesn't stay checked but changes.
Thanks Irina.

Had the same thing. Usually several additional clicks on new pics helps. As far as I know we all are doing recognize work for google street view clicking on captchas with store fronts for example :)

Thanks for your answer. Yes, usually several clicks helped but not now. I'll just wait for a while.
I don't understand what you mean in the second part. The images I had were just numbers with nothing in the background, just a grungy blur, nothing like street view.
Thanks anyway.

Each time I check an image, the check mark doesn't stick but changes to another image. Not only that the thumbs are miserable but some of them are impossible to recognize e.g. street numbers: they drove me crazy today, there is only a number visible but nothing in the background. So, how do I know if it is a street number or just a number?
Anyway, I tried several times to check every or only some of them but the captcha just changes the images with a new one, so I can't sing in. I tried to reload the page and the captcha, no success. It happened temporarily in the past too but today it's unbeatable.
Anyone having this problem, is there a workaround please? Thanks.

Top 100 on shutter stock. Vast majority of vector and Illustrator Folks.

http://www.microstock.top/index.phtml?p=1

All contributors over 1 k port are on that list but vector artist and illustrators have the most sales indeed (not all of them).
I can understand that, it's much work. God, I envy their talent!

494
Let's be honest, there are not just vectors but also totally identical photos uploaded several times. What surprises me is that they are in the same batch, in new section of some ports, not even flipped, angle or something changed, still accepted. Some are allowed, some not.

123RF / Re: Monthly earnings not calculated correctly
« on: May 01, 2016, 04:15 »
Same here but not just earnings from the last days, some earnings from the middle of the month are also missing.

It is a big holiday, Orthodox Easter tomorrow (today already, in east). Many contributors are celebrating, upload volume is not so high these days. That should explain the fast review time, not the rejections.

Alamy.com / Re: Which currency is best for Alamy payout?
« on: March 11, 2016, 01:17 »
Question is, on Alamy, does one $10 USD sale = one 10.00 GBP sale? Is the listed price a one : one ratio? Or do they adjust this calculation internally to account for currency exchange? I haven't been able to find this info online or in Alamy's forum so far, and I can't view UK pricing from my browser, all prices are USD.

I want to contribute to Alamy too and I am stuck at the same step, don't know what currency to choose to avoid double currency conversion.
I'm in EU and I see all prices in on buyer site.

Quote
As I understand even if I select payment in GBP, Alamy still converts first to USD, then that payment is converted to CAD when I withdraw it from my Cdn. paypal account.

Also, once you've set your desired currency for payment, can you change it at a later date, or is like Fotolia where you're committed to the terms set at sign-up for the life of your account?

Some help from established contributors would be welcome, thanks.

Adobe Stock / Re: Fotolia - Keyword Ordering on Upload
« on: March 06, 2016, 02:29 »
It's not so simple when you have thousands of files to update keyword order on one at a time.

Keyword ordering is not a new invention on FT. I joined in 2012 and it was always a FT requirement, those who listened don't have to update thousands of images at once.
There are many old threads on MSG about this, here is one from 2013: http://www.microstockgroup.com/fotolia-com/keywording-announcement-fotolia/.
If you have had good sales in the past, just leave it so, there is no way to batch update.

We will be updating our forum on a regular basis throughout this period, so please do check there for the most recent updates.
It would be nice to see the most recent updates, unfortunately SS forum is down for me (East Eu). This is the first "exciting" step,  keep them in the dark.

500
Not on fire but still creating almost three times as much heat as SS, which is not at all a difficult task because my earnings on SS are miserable lately with more files online. I had a peak in December on FT, than January was lower, which is normal for me. February looks promising till now, also no 0 days on weekends.
