I have sold on Most Photos they claim to have some kind of algorithim to alllow good images to rise. The images sold have been accepted elsewhere - if something isn't good enough for Yay Micro or Canstock I would be amazed if anyone would buy it!

Did they have DSLRs when Plato was around? I think any DSLR wil pretty much do the job - the advantage of Nikon/Canon is that should your ambitions equipment wise expand theres a huge range of options/upgrade path. Personally I like my Nikon but you will ind as many opinions as there are photographers. Stock I think has far more to do with business/marketing than equipment/technique.

I suggest you browse the sites to see what sells some have advice on what they are looking for.
I've been doing this for just under a year its a VERY steep learning curve - stuff I thought was excellent a few months ago I wouldn't consider submitting now. Economically if I costed my efforts and rewards so far it would be a disaster but I view the first year as an investment in learning!

If you have a new model release it can take a while and I got a good response when I first loaded MR and queried. If only I could sell more there it would be my favourite site!

Yep Capture NX is very good I now use it for processing but used Paintshop before that - what are the lens prroblems identified?

I use a D60 with the kit lens get my fair share of rejections  but honestly think its due to my ability rather than the lens Very good camera for $200 imho

Ah so its not just me!!! experienced 100% rejections a couple of times wrote to them and got some "helpful" advice but repled saying as many images were accepted on the likes of Shutterstock,Dreamstime,Fotolia so I wouldn't be spending time on improving the images for a low sales site.
I'm relatively new to this game and have had stuff accepted on there that I'd now be embarrassed to send!!

When I looked at signing on with them I realised quite a few of my images were already there! so didn't pursue it further
