GraphicLeftovers.
No categories. Good % of the sale. Fastest payouts in the biz. They make doing business easy, worthwhile and you get paid quickly. What could beat that except 10 more sales a day there? lol 53
Off Topic / Re: Google SEO changes (if you do your own site may be worth a look)« on: March 19, 2011, 15:18 »Ok, now I see. Indeed, those should be in the keywords meta field. I would say it would be worth a test, at least. Google a couple of your posts by specific names (in quotes) and see if it keeps your title or changes it. Google your site name, too. You'll know if they like it. As far as what I think will happen - I think if the majority of the FIRST 70 characters are the same, you'll be penalized. Maybe put the specific title at the beginning? That may overcome it - hard to say without testing. As I said, this is all new so we're trying to figure it out. 54
Off Topic / Re: Google SEO changes (if you do your own site may be worth a look)« on: March 19, 2011, 14:56 »I don't really understand what you meant buy "If Google changes your page title...". How do they change the title? They display something other than the original title? Yes. They are changing the display title. If you read the post and look at the images you'll see that two of Meg's results show different titles for the SAME page. 55

I know this won't relate specifically to most micro photographers who do their work, upload and just sell through sites but if you have your own site, this may be helpful info to you. Google has made a few BIG changes in how they rank sites and I wrote a post about it on my (non-micro) blog.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Expectations: what is your approx. return per 100 images« on: March 11, 2011, 22:51 »
100 uploads per month won't make you much money unless they're vectors.

123RF / Re: Nothing happens« on: March 10, 2011, 13:17 »
Last month was one of my best months ever at 123RF and this month is ahead of BME pace and should be my best ever.

123RF / Re: 123RF Serves Termination Notice to Pixmac« on: March 10, 2011, 13:15 »
I disagree with this. I think after what happened with Bigstock people are a bit freaked. I like money. I will be uploading my 4000 images directly to Pixmac so they can represent my work. I may be the naive one of this group but I'm going to be the guinea pig, I guess. I think things have domino'd out of control, I tend to believe people and I do agree that at this point it's a bit of a witchhunt.

No, it doesn't piss me off at all because the alternative is them removing royalties a month later for someone stealing images. So ... choices:
1) easier for bots to login and buy photos = remove royalties a la istock. 2) type half of an unreadable word. I'll take #2. 61
General Stock Discussion / Re: Feb 2011 microstock earnings« on: March 05, 2011, 09:51 »
February was by *far* my best month ever. And I do post real numbers though never high enough ones.
![]() http://www.niltomil.com/results/feb-2011-microstock-earnings/ Anyhoo - my first month ever over $1000 and my BME on several agencies IN a short month. I'll take that all day and twice Sundays. 62
General Stock Discussion / Re: 1099 Corrections?« on: February 28, 2011, 16:39 »
I probably have 5 different slips from some agencies. It's frustrating because they're just going to correct it again in a month.

Ya know - I'd love to go to a 'lypse. But the way they do it makes it unrealistic that will ever happen. Is a shame. lol 64
GLStock / Re: graphic leftovers? where are their MRs ?« on: February 17, 2011, 19:43 »Oh great answer, I feel a LOT more enlightend, how clever, questions and answers right out of grammer school Sorry you didn't appreciate the answer. I was trying to answer your question without getting technical. If you need to know how, you will already know how. That IS the answer, not a smartass answer. 65
GLStock / Re: graphic leftovers? where are their MRs ?« on: February 17, 2011, 14:18 »
If you haven't been approved as a GLP seller, it doesn't matter - you can't submit people. If you have, you already know the deal on MRs.

Microstock Charts / Re: Financing Version 2 of Microstock Charts« on: February 14, 2011, 13:45 »
The 16-2 results you speak of are possibly skewed by no "neither" option. I saw at least 1-2 people said neither and I can see others would just not answer - maybe the low voting is a "neither" option...
Myself, I'd vote for charge. Make those who want it pay. Make those who don't want it go away. 67
General Stock Discussion / Re: How much do you think MicrostockPhotography.com is worth?« on: February 14, 2011, 00:02 »Well I'll offer $20. Yes, it was. $20. Wow, I will be Nil-to-Mil in no time. lol Hey, it was almost double your previous best offer. ![]() 68
General Stock Discussion / Re: How much do you think MicrostockPhotography.com is worth?« on: February 13, 2011, 17:42 »
Well I'll offer $20.
According to Godaddy Expires on: 31-Mar-11 So basically you want to sell something you have for the next 6 weeks. I'll give you $20, you transfer it to me and I'll re-register it myself. lol 69
GLStock / Re: GraphicLeftovers - any good news?« on: February 10, 2011, 08:47 »
Last month was my BME with GL and I made more there than I ever have at most of the small stocks. This month is also continuing with new sales and I'm expecting to be right back in the same (bme or near) category. So far, so good on GL for me.

StockFresh / Re: Rejections in StockFresh« on: February 01, 2011, 10:18 »
I just assume that even though it's SF and not StockXpert, they review almost identically. That means hard property rejections, very few isolated on white and all the same rejects we used to get from StockXpert. As long as I can get caught up there ever, I'll know what not to sub at least. Anything StockXpert would have chucked out, SF will too.

Strangely (or not), GL has made me more money this month than IStock. lol (Not by a lot but it's my BME at GL already!)
