Yes. Logo and branding requirements are the same as for stills.

Even if the URL is correct just change the watermark to something else and upload a new image. That is what worked for me.
My image preview pages were not showing an image. The (default) watermark had a correct link. I had seen that it was a problem in some other threads so I just created a quick watermark myself and uploaded it. Then uploaded some new test images and yep - that fixed it.
Woa - when did you get a Symbio site?! 
I started last month or so. I don't have it running yet really. Just 5 images on it to test things out. I'm hoping to finish it this month or next.

Overall earnings were up on last year Nov, and slightly up on last month (oct)... about in relation to uploads - so in that regards, earings are about the same.

if you are up for a little work, having your own domain and hosting a wordpress site is relatively easy. Once that is accomplished you can get quite a few nice templates for that. Themeforest (by photodune) has quite a few nice ones. I also use elegantThemes a lot (I've got their referral ad at the top). I've also used themify.me
Thanks for the referral Leaf. I do have my own domain, now just need to figure out this side of it. I will look more into wordpress as a blog has been interesting to me as well.
You can also build very simple sites on wordpress. They don't always have to be blogs. It is perhaps a little overkill to make a 4 page static site through wordpress but it is a nice platform to build on with plug-ins etc.

if you just want a ftp program use filezilla. If you want one that caters to stock photography and makes your life much easier and saves you time, use stockuploader

Ok.. maybe not such a christmas surprise.. perhaps more of a leftovers from the recent MEXPO.
Anyhow, I had these enamel mugs in the MEXPO bags as a MicrostockGroup promotion and there are a few left over. Anyone want one? They are currently sitting in Germany where one of the MEXPO organizers live (Amos).. so you need to be based in Europe (sorry everyone else). I've got around 20 to give away.

yeah.. today you'll be able to see how many American customers your images have... because today, any sales will be coming from other countries.
November isn't a BME yet but I'm hoping it will be by tomorrow. I'm guessing the last 4 days this month will be pretty slow though due to Thanksgiving in the US. Time to start thinking about when to stop uploads for good for the year.

First half is too staged for Stocksy (great images though)
Second half would fit perfectly...
I think they are now already overwhelmed with potential canditates and it is harder to get in.
There are a ton of staged images on Stocksy.
but this is not that they are actually looking for, if it is an exceptional image it will get accepted but that is not the core/heart of the collection.
Agreed. It's the same for when applying to iStock or Shutterstock. if you apply with a pack of landscape images or apples isolated in white you probably aren't going to get in - at least not on Shutterstock. That doesn't mean they don't have those types of shots on their site and doesn't mean those types of shots aren't going to sell.. it just means they aren't wanting photographers who focus on those types of shots or photographers who would hold up those shots as the best of what they've created.... unless of course those apples on white or landscapes are simply jaw dropping.

Hi all,
how you guys remove the dust spot on video? let's say a spot on blue sky in a video on tripod, does it have a quick way to clean it?
I also shot a video this weekend that to this point is not usable due to the "Goodyear" logo on a tire. Not easy to reshoot. Anyone know of a service who can remove logos from video and retain a realistic look? Feel free to pm me.
What version of photoshop do you have. It works pretty good actually and you can just use the clone tool like you always have.

I can't believe you all are uploading manually.. why aren't people using stocksubmitter?
Does using Stocksubmitter mean you don't need to put in categories? I use Stockuploader but still have to manually input the categories for each site, and therefore still have to go to the page in question on DT.
You still need to fill in categories but you can do it for 50 images all at once (providing they are all in the same categories). .. the same for model releases. When submitting to several sites it is nice to have to only attach the releases once. Then, when it uploads to the agencies you don't even have to visit the sites.. it automatically submits with categories, releases and all.

I'm still getting auto-emails, but probably they were threads I replied to before your change rather than new ones.
I looked at your account settings and you it looks like you shouldn't be auto-subscribing to any threads. You can always view your own settings here and change them if you like. You can also easily unsubscribe to any/all threads on this page

Are you confirming that I shouldn't be getting notifications? As far as I can see, both checkboxes are blank, but I had several notifications when I logged into my emails this a.m.
I can see that you are (were) subscribed to a few threads. You can see which threads you are subscribed to on this page I've unsubscribed you to all the threads manually just now so starting now you shouldn't get any emails.

Starting yesterday I am no longer being directed to unread posts. Instead I am being sent to the top of the current page regardless of whether I have read those posts or not. Previously I would select the "home" button and then look for bold topics. After clicking the topic it would redirect me to the unread posts and bypass the read ones. This is no longer happening. Same on my home laptop, ipad, and work computer.
Anyone else?
Ok.. I'm assuming this is still causing people problems? Are the topics you have read non-bold? .. or are all the topics on the front page bold? I'm trying to recreate the problem somehow from my end but I'm not sure quite how to do it....
