Mine all have N/A under the free column in the unsold tab. So far I haven't been able to find how to get rid of them. If they're not selling I don't really want them left on the site. And searching their forums didn't help at all.
Really frustrated.
I am sure they will check here and answer
Hahahahahaha! Oh that's funny Acutally found something weird that I checked my uploaded files area and they're all still there with a green bubble but they have a yellow one in unsold. I also looked at my online portfolio and all the unsold files are still there. So maybe we don't have to do anything?

Sorry if this has been asked before but my internet connection is really throwing a fit. Anyway, I've got some files in the unsold file section but not sure what to do with them. I don't want them in free but can't figure out how to just delete them. Does anyone know how I can delete them if it's even possible?
Thanks,
Anita

I don't know what to make of it. I've not received an email from Big Stock about it at all.

All I have right now are micro images so that's all that Alamy got from me aside from one that I changed and am selling RM exclusive. I would like to do more RM illustrations but I need to figure out what that would be. And I've been so busy with other stuff lately I haven't had the chance to dive into that just yet.
I also, from my understanding, is that once it's RF somewhere else it has to be RF there. There's no harm in putting your RF stuff on there it's just somewhat of a pain to upload there sometimes.

Today I got an email saying that site "has a keen interested in the quality of your (my) work"...etc., etc. And wanted me to upload "free".
Then there was these curious sentences: To entice you into our collective, were prepared to guarantee higher placement in our site search results for better product visibility and higher sales volumes. Besides, we undertake image uploading for sale.
I wonder if that means they'll pay me to upload? I guess they've done that in the past. If not I suppose they will just give me better treatment than their old faithful contributors.
I pass.
They did do that in the beginning when they started out then they stopped I guess last July. Not sure if they're doing that again or not. That email does seem a bit odd though. I'd check the headers to make sure it's actually coming from them and not somewhere else.

I've been seeing more action there the last few months. I've been there over a year now and close to my first payout with them. Here's my stats since I signed up back in February 2010
498 online files Sold Files: 55 By Credits: 8 By Subscription: 46 By SMS: 1
Not stellar numbers but can't complain too much. This past April was my best month with them so far.

I just started with it this month. Haven't seen any sales yet but I'm going to remain hopeful and keep plugging away at it. Then again I've only done 3 so that might be my problem

Yeah it was $50 but at the bottom I see that it's $30. That's nice I'm $10 away from that

At FT usually a couple of hours (or minutes sometimes) for vectors and a few days for photos 2-3 days is what I usually see. My last batch at SS took round 36 hours give or take.

I just started there about two weeks ago. Haven't seen any sales yet and I've got 98 in the queue. Not gonna upload until some of those get reviewed. Course I've been around stock for 2 years so I have a few hundred that need to go up. I'm not sure how long their reviews take. Others that have been there longer probably will have a better estimate for you. Though I think it's taken a month or more for reviews if my memory is correct from what others have said.

I think GL is one of the best looking sites out there.
Thank you. But just wait, more things are coming. That's all I'm saying. My lips are now sealed
Ya tease LOL! I'm about 3 downloads away from payout. It's taken over a year to get there but I'm pretty content. OOO! I found one of my images there last month and contacted Fotolia customer support about it. They got back to me in about 3 days and confirmed it was one of their API partners but they didn't give any detail beyond that.
Oh okay. Mystery solved. Thank you.

Makes a bit more sense to me now. Just wasn't sure if they were scamming or something else that actually would be legit.
Thanks.

Was doing my monthly google search for my name and ran across inkshuffle.com
First little flag went up when the images still had the Fotolia watermark still on it. Second one was when I noticed that one of them has never been downloaded there. I don't know what to do because the last time I contacted FT regarding copyright infringement never heard back from them.
Actually every image there has a Fotolia watermark on them. So I don't know if this is some kind of weird POD partner program or what. Seems a bit odd to me.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. I wasn't sure if it was something standard on the ejunkie site that you could change. I just need to figure out how I'm going to do it all on my own site. Prolly have to sit down with a notebook and plan it all out. Thanks again

I agree and it looks really nice. I'd like to do that with mine one of these days but licensing options throw me off a bit. How did you come up with your license agreement?

You'll have to delete the misspelled keyword and type it in, or, in some cases, leave the misspelled on there and put in the correct spelling. I do that on a few things because I figure if I can misspell that word easily someone else can too. But that's just me :p
I still have a hard time using it like accidentally checking them all. Or I want to add the same keyword to all my images and it populates everything from the first image in the batch. Needs a bit more functionality to it because I've done that constantly and I've caught it so far and have to get out of there without saving anything and go back in to edit that batch. A bit of a pain and will take me some time to get used to it.

Had that issue last week with an image that accidentally went into the editorial category. Support had to move it back to the edit and submit area so I could fix it because it wouldn't let me edit anything at all. I'd changed the categories and then went back to add the reason note and the submit button wouldn't go green. Something's definitely glitchy over there. After uploading and editing and sumbitting one image I have to physically refresh the page so I can edit and submit the next one and that's been going on for awhile now.
I also don't like the fact that it automatically guesses which categories to put them in because half the time I have to change 2 or all 3 of them to something relevant.

I dunno if they're permanent but it sure feels like it. A few weeks or so ago they relaxed it on the exclusives so they got more upload slots but for those of us who aren't unless we've got a great percentage rate we're stuck. If I were a photographer I'd be chuffed but I'm not and I can't do 18 illustrations in a week anyway. Really it blows for those that do a lot of volume of work only to get stuck uploading the max 35 especially when they have hundreds to submit.

I had a request through a stock site awhile back. At the time I had the flu and didn't answer back for like 2 weeks. Probably lost out on an opportunity there. I've yet to freelance for anyone. Probably just as well until all my kids are in school would leave me more time to concentrate on the task at hand with no distractions.

Yeah mine went through last night too but didn't get an email confirmation that it had gone through. It'd been so long I forgot what I uploaded.

I've only had one sale there but I started back in March. I'm a little afraid to upload any photos (probably silly) course my port is small there still.

It is my full time job right now. I have plans to start doing other things as well other than micro (arts and crafts and whatnot). Until that happens I do this all the time.

My way is the hard way all sites individually. I only rely on myself to upload my files and for me I also don't upload more than I can deal with (usually 10 at a time more than that on some occasions).
I use ftp and html or java based uploader system depending on what site I'm uploading to at the moment. It's not the most efficient way but it's the way I've done it for over a year now.
I'm also not aware of any uploader stand-alone program that you can select categories and what not to because each agency has a different way of handling it. If there is maybe someone that knows will chime in and give you all the details.
