Didn't Bigstock try this a few years back? I don't think they had much success.

I remember about three or four years ago an employee from a small site was uploading our pictures on other sites claiming them as his own. I cannot remember the name of the site, they didn't last long once he was rumbled. It was an Eastern European site I think.
It is driving me mad now trying to remember that name! ![]() 87

I have been uploading to the recently, and it is a joy to do! This is what uploading should be, just send the images to them and they do the rest.
I had a couple of minor queries, and they answered my emails promptly and dealt with my queries very efficiently. I really hope this site is a winner. 93

Veer / Re: 9 sales today at Veer« on: February 23, 2010, 05:38 »
No sales this year until yesterday, then seven at $3.50 each!
That we should all have sales on the same day seems odd. Have they had a big sales push? 95
DepositPhotos / Re: Who has had sales at DepositPhotos?« on: February 22, 2010, 13:16 »
I have had eight sales on Deposit photos, six of them subs and a large and extra large sale. I was paid very quickly for my initial upload. I am still uploading. I have had a few dodge rejections, for similar were they are not similar, and for faulty isolations on shots that are not isolations, but most shots are accepted quickly. Overall they have seemed very professional and upwardly mobile!

General Stock Discussion / Re: Last day of the month« on: January 30, 2010, 01:21 »
I have had a good month. Not the best ever but a lot of EL's boosted things. I am 30% up on December. and 20% up on Jan last year.
SX tanked, but Fotolia flew. The surprise of the month is Deposit photos with three nice sales and a payout, and I only started uploading there about three weeks ago! 98

I am an accountant during the week. At weekends I enjoy walking (The mountains of Wales are visible from my back door), cooking and reading. I spend far too long on the computer, I love RPG's. Dragonage is my obsession at the moment.
When I am not working I love traveling. I am trying to walk in stages around the coast of Britain, photographing as I go. |
