I just looked again, there is no drop down menu at "add to free section" both at the middle and bottom of the page. If someone else finds the feature, please post. Thanks.
On the unsold files page, check (select the box on the left) the donated pics. Then the "add to free section" list drops down and you can select "remove from free section"Yes this works, I have just removed all the images I had in the free section. And 50 cents was deducted from my earnings for each image.

I filled out the form without the ITIN number and received that same email confirming it has been validated.
The way I had interpretted the newsletter I thought that if you submitted no form you would be taxed 30% on ALL earnings (which seems like blackmail and not legal) but if you submitted a form without the number you would be taxed at the maximum rate only on US based earnings.
Having a ITIN number would ensure you would be able to claim the treaty rate (in my case 5%) on US earnings. (Noting that SS seemed to sort things out so that the treaty was applicable without the number!)
It's all too bloody confusing!
Fotolia is currently ranked as my second best earner but I will not under any circumstance be applying for an ITIN number.

Oh my Lord! Not this again. If anyone from FT is reading this . . . we don't need the form. For crying out loud . . .

seeing a small increase in sales at BS but I was putting it down to the time of year

Slow for me, projections would forecast a bad month, especially at DT, which was my best performer last month.
Seeing similar here. Sept looks like it's going to be a a bit of a let down, especially at SS. I was looking for things to pick up a little, even after some decent and steady sales all during the "off" season. But its early yet! And Xmas stuff is continuing to sell well.

Please remember: FT has a long track record, measured in years, of not doing what's good for their contributors. This doesn't appear to be any different. The increased traffic will absolutely not be worth giving away your best-sellers, even for small size. And, by the way, do you really think that those "requests from potential and existing partners" are going to stop at the "small" size?? Not on your life.
Think think think.
I do really think 30+ (which is an open ended figure btw) is too many.

Yes I got one too. Worded the same. As a silver non-exclusive I would be bumped to gold and would earn 2% more . . . I am skeptical about the increase in traffic but then what do I know? I asked Chad for some clarification. You need to volunteer 30+ images to qualify for the rank crank, but you do have some say in what images they select.
I'm considering it but not rushing in.
Haven't got that mail.... but if i read correctly you are saying you need to donate 30+ free images to have that rank crank.?... Looks to me they need more free images.
Patrick H.
That is correct. 30 or more images but I should add that the scheme only offers the 'small' size for free . . .

From dictionary.com Couple = two of the same sort considered together; pair. Several = being more than two but fewer than many in number or kind Few = not many but more than one So maybe dreamstime would be more accurate if they said a few hours . . . ahhh semantics

Absolutely no complaints from me on Istock's sales this month. Another BME. Revenue up by a third from last month - my previous BME. Istock is now my best earning site. Fotolia has taken second place and SS has dropped from first place to third

What's with having to enter a verification code on uploading files at Dreamstime now?

Whatever is going on at IS it looks good from my angle. I've had my BME there since joining 2 years ago . . .

Wow this is disappointing. I was hoping to reach gold in six months, but I guess not now.

Sales are skyrocketing at FT for me, rising every month. This month they are my highest earning site out of 7 - even beating SS. I don't know what's going on there, but I like it!

One of my best selling images across the board. Rejected at Dreamstime initially, reason: "Please be more imaginative" :0P

No Tomboy, it's not just you... I have contact with them and they already knew there was a problem. As they have said me they rebuilding the site because of such problems. Hopping to fix them before it's too late!!!
Well it seems they have fixed the issues they were having. I can log in today with my XP machine. I emailed them when I was having problems, they ignored me. I'm just not impressed with SV at all. Admittedly I only had 50 images there, the way they massacred my keywords was very off putting so I didn't upload any more, but the views on those images were minimal considering the months they were there and I had only three sales ... not worth it for me I'm afraid. Anyways, I've removed my images today. Thanks SV, but no thanks.
