I seem to have broken the log-in/register link at the top of the page. I have added another log in for now but the drop down that everyone else gets seems to go to the EULA in a different page for me I have the most recent download and am using child theme. If anyone has any ideas as to what I might have done I would appreciate hearing them - and yes, I know I have broken it - again! When I look at it in Firebug it says <li class="login_register" data-target="#symbiostock_member_modal" data-toggle="modal"> <a href=" http://stockimages.kerioak.com/end-user-license-agreement/" title="Login / Register"> </li> But so do most others seem to refer to the EULA when I look at theirs and they get the login/register dropdown page

Yes you (anyone) may use it - maybe a link to my stock site as well - even if it is hidden in a full stop or something - I have not checked for the legality of it but is one I use on our Janchristie.com site as well (anyone into nail art?)

Symbiostock is not a stock agency, we are a group of independent photographers, illustrators and artists licensing royalty-free and rights managed images from our own sites and to make it easier for you, our customers to find the right image we are also linked to each other. This means if you do a search for example, tree you will get a page where firstly my tree images appear and then those of my network members. If you use Categories to start your search you will only find the images on my site. The network members I am linked to may link back to me or may link to other members so you can click on one of their images and do another search to bring up different results. Of course, my ambition is to have the pictures you desire here but if I do not I can offer an alternative where you can purchase direct from the artist.Yes of course you can use it - if anyone can improve upon it (not difficult) then please post your version We need to make it sound as if it is best to get it direct from the artist I think?

If you mean me (text about Symbiostock) thank you, I agree we need to push/mention/advertise the concept. I "think" I have just finished the text side of my site for now, been working on it again this morning, and need to concentrate on getting enough images up. If you or anyone else has any comments about my site, good or bad or how to improve or change please feel free to voice them

I'm sure there's a simple solution to this, but I'm having trouble with my vertical thumbnails. As you can see, they are much bigger than the horizontal ones.

My guess is that you have set a width size and somewhere need to find a height size when you are adding pictures to your portfolio. Alternatively if you want to show all your images add an "All images" or something to your categories and see if you can add that to a separate link - I think it would be possible from within the menu area. Just a thought - your watermark, do you want people to be able to find you from it if it is used elsewhere by adding your web address as well or just leave it with your name as there are a few Danny Hook's if you do web searches

The area for setting the link to the EULA page has gone. Mine went to a non-existent page so I had to change the slug of the EULA page to what it thought it should be - ie
"end-user-license-agreement-4-2"
instead of what I thought it should be - ie
"end-user-license-agreement"
Hope this helps someone else if they get a similar problem

subdomains are virtual renamings -- by default they point to the root of the main domain. but you can use the subdomain to point to a non-root folder (this is why subdomains didn't work earlier for symbio)
Strange, my subdomain has worked from day 1 with symbiostock

I can only answer for Justhost. My main site - kerioak.com is run on Wordpress, I then created a subdomain - stockimages.kerioak.com and installed Wordpress on that along with symbiostock - and the two appear to run separately and well from what I can see.
I have another domain on which I run opencart with wordpress on a subdomain so it seems to work . Does that help at all?

I want to make the type face smaller, and possibly change colour on my categories page. Normally I would find the entry a css file and edit it there but the css file is empty.
If anyone has managed this could you please let me know - in VERY simple terms how to do it please

DO NOT think you can move all php files from symbiostock to symbiostock-child just because one or two might work. It totally wrecks your site and the whole thing disappears into a white space.
Luckily my host does backups (daily, weekly, monthly) and I used that to retrieve it, not for the first time !

Other good testing keywords are tree, sky gold , man and blue. I have quite a range of images up now if you would like to use me for testing. To make things easy I have an All Images category so you should be able to find something Iin there to test against if you link to me

you are a little early for the party, I am still in the process of setting everything up and it is not quite ready yet so please feel more than welcome to keep popping ...
and even though it is putting the wording from the bottom of the front page when you click on the link it takes you to category with pictures with "stormy" in them, a definite plus for having categories I imagine.

I was searching to see if anyone else has category issues and found a post from Leo which I think is asking about this (I say I think because his post was technical) so will keep uploading and wait a couple of weeks for him to come back and see if he has found a fix. I tried uploading various pages from previous versions of symbio but apparently did not find the right one. I have not had a chance to upload for a couple of days so have not been checking categories, just uploading recent versions

I am using 1.1.9 and is uploading and processing as expected.
child-theme not activated (only just noticed this but as I could not work out what to do with it fairly irrelevant anyway)
SEO and Slideshow plug-ins active.
No idea if this helps anyone who is having problems but thought I would post in case
Some sub-categories show they have contents but come up with nil result (cats and seamless for instance)
I have an ALL in my category section which used to show everything, now it just picks up two bird pictures
