You can give me also a chance: mymicrostockupload.com. In the past Ive tried to solve the problem with the categories but without a API from each agency its not possible. You can add some categories inside the IPTC metadata but no agency (exception fotolia) read this data. As a developer you have no chance to do this job :-(

no ftp upload = no upload from me

If you willing to pay a little money and more people need this feature I will develop it. I developed mymicrostockupload.com but currently the service works only with images.

This week Ive made only one sell, but is was a very good price. So this agency moved to place 2.! on my agencies. Ive currently only 200 images online there.

6
I wrote my own service mymicrostockupload.com to make the upload work. The agencies are sorted after there earnings statistics. So I upload new pictures only to agencies were Ive earned more as 50$. The others will be delivered when they are reaching my limit. The reason of this is that some agencies are selling one picture in one year but for a good price. But I stopped uploading to deposit I have read to many bad news of this one.

or make your upload easy with mymicrostockupload.com

Last week U have 12 images uploaded and 100% rejected. Landscapes shooten with wide angle f/8 - f/10 so the focus is sharp in all areas. Rejection reason out of focus. I have controlled all pictures with 200% zoom.  >:( I see this often, when I upload pictures on weekend. Maybe the automatic algorithm is working on weekend.  ;D What is your experiance when you upload rejected Images again? Ive never tried.

Bigstock.com / Re: No more uploads for me
« on: January 17, 2015, 12:57 »
Ive round about 1000 images there with a income of 15$ per month. Its not so good but more as nothing .-) @gnirtS: The keyword issue you can solve when you use mymicrostockupload.com .

14
The most important thing for me is first an ftp upload!!! All other things are nice to have but not important. Then you need a batch process to read the ITPC Headers from a jpg. Thats it! But currently your upload process is a mess, sorry. But we are in 2014 now.

15
Great idea, but I have done the same one year before, with some analytic possibillities and earning statistics. mymicrostockupload.com for interested contributers.

16
Best month ever! But I sold one single picture for ~50$. Without this it was a normal month.

New Sites - General / Re: Anyone Selling on Colourbox?
« on: July 08, 2014, 13:34 »
@stocked: Yes of course you have right, but you know the game theory. When Im compare shutterstock with 0.25$ and 0.20$ there is not much difference. On SS I have the work to select categories and on colourbox its just one click.

I have the same problems with the thumbs, but I hope the upload was successful. For some images I got the mail: ...Glitch--There was a technical problem with your upload. Please resubmit. -> Yesterday

For me make photos is a hobby and thats the reason why I sell here also. I get 0.20 for each picture sold. But the upload process is so easy and I havent anything to do when I use tools like mymicrostockupload.com so its just one click for me to get some extra money.

In case of a pro photograph I dont like to use so cheap agencies!

23
Im also a newbie and tried out several agencies now. My topic is currently only landscape and architecture. Income is monthly ~ 50 bucks with that. And here are my Top 6...

1. Shutterstock
2. iStock
3. dreamstime
4. depositphotos
5. 123rf
6. Fotolia

Its very similar to the Microstock Poll Results on the right side here.

24
As microstock newbee and pro software developer I created this service. You can give this a try. If you like changes or improvements you can talk to me directly and I will implement this if it is technical possible.

Please let me know what you think!

Regards,
Thomas
