The cruising has a side effect of weird rejects - I received several "bad isolation" ones for photos that are not isolated at all. Not that I care much, but...

Same problem here!!!
The funny thing is that 2 of rejected pics were the ones i had sent for examination test!!!!!!

Lighting / Re: Coco Ring Flash vs RayFlash
« on: October 22, 2009, 09:21 »
Recently i had received the RayFlash as a gift.
After 10 days i sold it on ebay!  8)
If you are looking for a ring flash, then it's better to by a real ring flash.
These things are too heavy for the hotshoe, plus they eat a lot of light (more than 3fstops).
 :(

i agree 200% with you louoates.

iStockPhoto.com / Re: IS customer service
« on: September 11, 2008, 13:35 »
i found out by using their forum that a few other members had the same problem.
So they decide to answer our emails and support tickets really fast!!!
They suggested two solutions: cancellation of the old check and repost a new one, or to transfer the funds by PayPal.
Im glad that their forum works this way.
Happy End!!!

After ten (10) weeks and i haven't receive my check from istock...
So i have contact with them either by their ticket system and directly by email (support mail address).
Guess what: two weeks have been passed but not a single word from their side!!!!!!!!!!! >:(
What can i say? Generally i like IS but their customer support service sucks.
Hope to find a way to catch my money.

since last SV update i can't access any more my portfolio, royalties page.
The upload page doesn't work either...
i have try by using windows XP with IE & Firefox browser, and Linux with Firefox & Opera browsers.
The main problem is that i haven't control over my account...
Can't find out sales, upload or change account details.
Please any help?
Unfortunately if problem permits i have to ask the cancellation of my portfolio.
Any one has this problem also?

Exactly as Peep wrote.  That's the way I deleted my portfolio too ;D

they must make up their minds if the like to be an agency or a community.
Hopping to select the second option as an agency without sales has no future at all.

you are 110% right nata_rass.
