The title of this post: " I need expert's opinion!"
It's so refreshing to see so many expert responses helping the newbie.

Our atmosphere is divided into various electrical layers which respond to solar radiation in ways which can affect the amount of downloads we get from buyers looking at our galleries.
These affects are also cyclic and I am able to be forecast downloads based on solar activity.
A second effect can affect the days we get the most downloads. Very intense solar activity can produce a solar storm which can affect the way buyers search select keywords.
I use a NASA program I got from my sister who works for NASA. I ran the program for the first half of June 2008...the results were not pretty...I'm sorry to say.

Go to you local nursing home dressed in a suit. Sit down in the lobby and inform the residents privately that there medicare and social security will no longer cover the costs of their stay. Ask if they would please make arrangements to move out by the weekend.
Then tell them you would like to take the picture to put in the book of residents that have moved on. Thats what I would do.

OK I can't believe I'm about to admit this....it goes against everything I stand for.
But YES. I have noticed an slight increase in the amount of rejects for "Type of Photograph" on FT Actually several right in a row. (Like 5 or 6....or 7&8 maybe 9 and 10).
This is an OBVIOUS mistake on the reviewers part, as he/she has no idea just how good I am. More than likely they meant to click the approve button, but was distracted in in sheer awe over how good my images were.
Simple mistake. no problem, I have lots and lots of images to upload.

Reading a post recently, I was amazed to read that one poster made a statement like, (I will para phrase) ....some sites want you to oversaturate your images so they look better as thumbnails.
I began to wonder if this poster knew the difference in the different color profiles like Adobe 1998 and sRGB. I mention theses profiles because they look entirely different side by side on the web. sRGB looks more saturated.
Although sRGB appears saturated compared to it's dull lifeless Adobe 1998 neighbor, Adobe has a wider gamut of colors and therefore prints better. sRGB is quite limited in the amount of colors, and may be the cause for some "Banding" as seen in some gradients.
Another item to consider is whether the site you upload to converts your thumbnails to sRGB for you. For that reader who continues to oversaturate his/her images, I thought you might like to know.

FYI
I had a conversation with a reviewer recently, as he is an acquaintance. During the conversation, I noticed his reference to terms like "Artifacts"....etc His explanation to me, and my learned definition of those same terms were totally different.
I did not argue my side, and refused to try to explain why I disagreed. I just said nothing.
Although many sites try to give some instruction, orientation, and familiarization to their reviewers, nothing will ever beat a formal education in graphics arts, design, and fine art.
Another point to keep in mind is the sites have no way to maitain any consistency's in their reviewers hardware, and how they use it. Reviewing images on a laptop for instance might not be my choice of hardware to use while reviewing images. It does happen, and there's no way to control it.
What happens behind the scenes as your reviewer kicks back in his/her underwear, sips their coffee and grabs a few images to review for lack of anything better to do at the moment is totally out of our control.

You have even a more forceful energy than making this disappear. That power is not looking at it.
I often wonder why people in this forum apply so many of their emotional attributes to threads. Now it's got me wondering why Pixart wishes it were in his/her power to make this thread disappear.
Obviously something said, or implied, or even the very concept of this thread has set to work a chain of events that has moved him/her to make his/her feelings known.
I know Leaf is concerned about his readers feelings. I guess he has to to maintain order. But me.....I don't give a crap. I say whats on my mind, and don't care who it bothers.
There's only one rule: I'm not affected either way when I am criticized by others. I figure if I can dish it out then I should be able to take what ever is given me in return.
So Pixart try and have a good day

From now on, no one is allowed to pick on the MIZ anymore. Just nice things about me are allowed....

Fixed? Perhaps. Yesterday's sales now show up but again today's don't. I'm thinking it's NOT FIXED.
