I haven't been following the updates and problems threads on iStock, but is there a new fix coming up or something? Or is everything bugged beyond recognition again? Sales for january were going okay-ish, I must say.

That thing doesn't usually update properly sometimes that I've noticed. If you're on firefox you can see the graph and should be able to hover your mouse over the graph dots to see how many downloads. Sound like they might be ELs. I've had 2 there before and they garnered me a little over $6.00 a piece.
It did update. It showed 2 downloads, so I think you're right. $6 for an EL, how lame  At least I'm nearing a payout...

I just had $12,50 added to my account (which is an unusually high amount, at once, at VS), but I can't seem to figure out which images were downloaded. My account page only shows the latest image sold. But I would like to see a big list of which images were sold, and when, and how much $ I got for each download.
Is there any chance this might get implemented in the near future?

You guys should find some financial investors, because you can't wait 5+ years for a company to flourish, especially not in the stock industry. It takes aggressive marketing and advertising to get those customers in and make some sales. Exactly what are you waiting for? You now have the 1 million+ images, a decent website, quality images, now DO something with it.

Why do we need to provide ITIN to DP for contributors from countries with tax treaty with USA?
Shutterstock, Fotolia, istock, RF123, Canstock, Bigstock and almost every other microstock don't require such a condition. They have found out we don't need ITIN.
Applying ITIN is such a pain. You practically need to hire a lawyer or accountant in USA to help you with it which easily costs you $250. A friend has tried to do it himself. His applications were rejected by IRS 3 times with little reasons given.
According to DP we're going to face 30% tax withheld without ITIN.
You don't need an ITIN. I'm not from the US (my country has a 0% tax treaty with the US) and I didn't have to apply for an ITIN either. Make sure you fill in this form as in individual to prevent any hassles.

After a dead October and November, I got one $15 sale around Christmas and two $6 sales this year already.
I like the higher prices and the higher royalty-%. Granted, sales are very slow, but since uploading with StockSubmitter is easy, I'll stick with them.
I'm curious what their new layout will bring; more customers? more traffic? more sales? Let's hope so.

I'm staying in as well. Uploading takes no time (I upload to all sites at once) so there's nothing to lose. But I think more marketing couldn't hurt.

Hi All,
1. Paid downloads = creds + subs
2. If you have a good portfolio and are having good downloads, you can appeal ...
3. As long as you make the cut, your commission share will still be 50%

Please answer the following questions: 1. Why didn't we get to hear this via a site e-mail or a frontpage announcement? Not every contributor reads the MSG forums. 2. Why didn't you announce it 3 months prior? 3. Why punish contributors with a commission cut anyway? Contributors should be rewarded for being at 123RF, not penalized.

I have 118 files at 123RF, so I won't be making it to 150. I think this is a lame move, because any commission cut is a 'punishment' for its contributors, no matter what excuse you might have.
And pushing us to upload more sounds more like a threat ("make it so 150 OR we will cut your commission") rather than an reward.
Too bad, 123RF, I was just starting to like you because of the sales. Also, why didn't I receive an e-mail? Why do I have to find out on this forum? At least you should communicate this to ALL your contributors, at least 3 months prior.

In one of the IS forum topics I read they don't respond to those e-mails anymore (lame) because they're 'working on it'.

It's a pun on 'moustache', from the 'Movember' event, where people can grow a Moustache to collect money for cancer research. Apparently, Istock is participating.
