I received the same response from online support. But these are from fellow contributors and they don't work for SS, so I guess we'll have to wait until Monday to find out.

Thank you for replay. We will see on Monday but I am not so hopefull

This is ridiculous. They reported an amazing Q4, bought Turbosquid, cut the earnings, levels and now they just can't pay in time? Their greed and instability is really beyond the line! Why do SSTK still have this price?
It's good that I have Adobe and some others backing me up.

I'm also worrying about that maybe they won't pay finally...

one glitch & conspiracies come out of the woodwork!  they missed a payment --  likely due to a software problem. such systems usually aren't setup to run a unique payment & it would take longer to fix the software than to just combine payments.

no need to ascribe sinister intent - would there be the same response if this happened with adobe?

they missed a payment
I wonder, is it possible to miss the payment to office worker? I guess, it's just breaks the law.
Also, I don't see any official statements or apologies. And we will not see it until we raise a wave in forums and social networks.

Seriously? I was with them from 2004 until last year when I deleted and closed. NOT ONCE did they miss or be late in paying. They gave until the 15th, but I cant remember a time when they didnt pay the first week of the month, soon after the pmt calc email came.

Im going with greed. All those huge salaries at the top are bleeding them dry. But really, werent the pay cuts and the Jan. reset warning enough that shite was coming? SMH

 >:( Their response

I understand your concern regarding your payment and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

I checked our records, and unfortunately the payment for your January earnings did not successfully go through due to a technical error. It will be automatically reissued in the February payment cycle and you should expect to receive it by March 15. Our current payment systems do not permit us to reissue payments outside of the regular monthly schedule. We apologize for this delay and any inconvenience it may cause.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Thanks,
Shilpi

Same here, I received no money this month.

What a joke, not even a heads-up, no email, nothing.

That is officially, and not just imo (as it has always been) "worse than  iStock". They can use that as their tagline for a reasonable royalty.

Dear Mortgage company/Gas/Electricity supplier/Credit Card issuer~
I checked and unfortunately my payment did not go through.
My system does not allow me to make a payment outwith my regular schedule, so you'll be paid next month.
I apologise for the delay and any inconvenience it might cause.

Do these companies share the same incompetent tech team?

I just checked my tax form at SS.

It was approved january 2018, and according to the FAQ valid for 3 years. So it expired january 2021.

Maybe that explains why I haven't been payed yet in february? There has not been any notification from SS about the expired tax form, even though the FAQ say they will notify.

I have filled out a new tax form now, and it has been approved.

Maybe. But it's definitely not our case.

I got official response from support too. SS will pay next month. And now I am not sure, how to pay rent this month. Luckily, I have some backup until iStock payout. But now I will have to delay all big payments, taxes, etc.
Well, a good preparation to live without SS's piece of pie. Which will come soon.

My tax form expired on January 2021 too. There was no reminders from SS about that. Maybe it is payment bug related with tax form.

As I understand, if you are not a US citizen, the tax form can't expire on January of the year because:

How often do I have to submit a W-8?

A W-8 form is only valid for 3 calendar years, as per Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations.

I don't remember SS ever sending out a reminder email, Bigstock on the other hand, was asking for a new form every second year.

When people are saying it's expired in January, I'm pretty sure they're saying that it's expired at midnight on the 31st of December.

The weird thing is that SS has never once in my entire SS career failed to pay, in fact they were always right on time (around the 7th of each month).
