The yard would work, but it is best if you have a  pole to dance around. turkey feathers would work, but only on the western hemisphere. You have better settle on hens feathers, they are global and fx teh cock Y bondhu comes in 2-3 colours that would ensure global downloads of pictures in many colours.

if it is really bad you might want to add sacrifice to the whole menace, which could start with tobacco and rice and escalate up to virgins and newborn boys.
Its heard of before.

I am talking about a broken site. Since other people also experiencing bugs, I dont find it a weird statement that sales might be affected because of it.

SS is fizzing along for me in both performance* and sales. When I think of a broken site, IS is front and centre by a considerable margin.

I suggest attaching the feathers mentioned above to IS management's rear ends and setting them on fire.

* I use IE and Firefox depending on how bad my hangover is in the morning and whether I've remembered to put on my spectacles

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Good I'm not the only one seeing that right now.  I'm not a tech-head but it makes me wonder how those internal server errors come up?  Is it directly related to the database?

The buyer side seems fine now, its the contributor side. But you get used to it. Its a general HTTP 500 error, just meaning that the request on the server could not be completed. Happens too much on SS and you wonder if it also affects sales.

Thanks Ron.  As long as the buyers side is unaffected sales should be unaffected too.  Then again what if they experience the same when they're trying to purchase an image and that comes up at the same time our area is down.

I shudder to think!

Here are the thoughts of a few trying to find out why searches were not working.  I would expect this to be a small sampling of those affected.

Shutterstock have already said new contributors are favored. That quote is somewhere buried on their forum. I dont think they target specific portfolios to apply bugs.

No they didn't Poncke read the quoe you wrote.

I found it, Jon told a contributor at the SS dinner in Brasil that they did, thats why I couldnt find the quote earlier:

Another interesting thing is that they do favour new contributors slightly so they have a chance

So they do favor new ports in the search as I stated previously.

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /forum.mhtml.

Sorry to hear Paul. My sales seem ok now, after to abysmal days. I mentioned this before, but my downloads are very erratic on Shutterstock since a few months.

This is my graph for July without weekends

You've certainly got a lot of variation there. Mine are a much steadier than that but today has been weak so far. If there have been some site problems that would explain it.

Shutterstock is down again, at least the upload section.  I just uploaded 30 images and their system didn't pick up the keywords and will also not allow me to delete those images.

Word of warning if you are planning on uploading today....and I suspect tomorrow,

Tried to upload 3 times and each time it failed.

Have not had a sale in over 24hrs, something is up.

That would explain why I have only one sale today- usually average around 10. They seem functional on the buyer side but not on the contributor's side...

Still down as of 5am California (USA) time.  Oh well, it's forcing me to upload to the lesser sites.

And you say that in a thread full of comments and screenshots and quotes of a site with issues.

Something is working. I got review emails this morning for my last submissions. But no joy with the submit site.

I know for a fact that my sales are very unusually poor even for a weekend.  As for the folks saying everything is fine - yeah, right! Just like when I submit a string about sales being poor on a MS company they jump in say they have had their best month ever! Selling pics like hotcakes! Yet, 90% of the other folks agree with me. Just stirring the pot to see if they can get a rise...
