Can you please give me the link where the original watermark image stays? I've changed it and i think it's all messed up because of that.

wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock-watermark.png

Thanks mate.
All working fine now. Guess different watermarks mess up with the preview photo. Setting back to original cleared the problem for me

Anyone having troubles processing images today? I've just uploaded about 150 files ( vector eps and jpeg) thru FTP and when I processed the images (using imagemagick) an error message came up below:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_error_message() on a non-object in /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxxx.com/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock_image_processor.php on line 1127

I can't even delete the images from Process Image page. Any solution to this? Thanks in advance.

Delete them directly from the folder on the server, using Filezilla

Do some of the images show up blank?

If so, can you process the good images?

If you can process the good images, you can then use the "Delete ALL Files" option from the pulldown at the bottom of the Process Images screen.

Alternatively, you can use that option to delete all files and start over again.

Thanks for that. Only about 8 of the 150 plus images showed up and the "process delete files" is unclickable in the Process Image page. So just deleted them from the server as what Ron pointed out. I was limiting my FTP uploads to 50 to 60 per batch until today when I decided to up it a bit to  150 plus images and this happened. Is it a memory problem, do you think?  I have set my memory to 100mb.

More than likely it could be a time-out problem. Or a memory problem. If (quite likely) your errors are set to NOT show, you will get a white screen.

BTW - If your using bluehost and require the use of a LONNGG running script, such as a huge batch-processing operation, you can get a dedicated IP if Im not mistaken.

thanks, leo. i'm not sure now if it's a memory problem or a time-out. i uploaded a batch of 50 files and it made it thru. and then i upped the next batch to 60 and got the processing problem again. i'm on hostgator, BTW.

At least we know its not an all-or-nothing scenerio.

Likely whats happening its its crashing on a file it doesn't like. Or it might be timing out. I'm impressed your doing 50 at a time.

it's happened again. i've reduced that batch of 60 that crashed and uploaded it this time to 50 and it crashed. you may be right there, it might be a file in that batch that's spooking it.

i'm on justhost and had a crash during processing today - then my justhost site itself was down for about 20' - not sure who caused what...

I had about 150Mb upl'd and it got thru 33/45 images.  I've done up to 400 Mb before, but it may be   time of day - I usually upload around 1 am pst

it's a weird coincidence and we're on different hosts. i usually upload a batch of no more than 100mb but i thought i might try my luck today by uploading around 200mb, but no joy there :)

You could also check if any of your filenames contain some kind of special characters like  ' or .(dot in the middle). Processor just doesn't seem to like those :)

I guess that I'm not the only one that uses dots/periods in their filenames...  :)

I am getting this error:

/home/content/xx/xxxxxxxxx/html/MYSITE/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock-watermark.png< ... Please check that you entered it correctly in your Settings Area. Default watermark used.

I have entered it correctly.. I never touched it since last time I uploaded images actually..

the thing is I uploaded my whole portfolio during SY version 1.0

today is the first day I tried to upload some images after the launch of version 2 and I got this issue.. I checked that watermark sits there in the correct folder on the server and the path is correct.. (I am on version 2.5.6 to be precise)

I upgraded today and when I went to process I got this message:

"You browser doesn't have Flash, Silverlight, Gears, BrowserPlus or HTML5 support."

Up till now I wasn't having any problems uploading images under 10 MB using Firefox or Explorer.

Over 10 MB I still can't do even though I've gone through the changes.  Also I upload basically one or two at a time.  Bluehost.  -  Ed

cidepix:

I was getting the same weird error for a while, and then it magically fixed itself.

You can read about it here:

http://www.microstockgroup.com/symbiostock-technical-support/receiving-error-cannot-find-watermark-at-location/msg328943/

The only thing that I could advise trying is to change it to another file, save it, and then change it back, and save it again.

According to the following thread, it looks like Bluehost is having issues today:

I think version 2.5.6 was supposed to fix this. You didnt say what version you upgraded to, so if you are on 2.5.6, i dont have an answer.

I'm on 2.5.6  - something changed today.

I did find something on my PHP.ini file that I hadn't changed after talking to BlueHost.

 upload_max_filesize = 10M

to

 upload_max_filesize = 25M

trying ftp again to see if it works now.

2.5.6

Worked yesterday and this morning.

Now I get the "You browser doesn't have flash" message if I try to use the web upload.

On FTP - I created the missing directory.

FTPed the files.

They come in with title/keyword/description  (over 10 mb too I might add which is new after fixing the php.ini file)

Then when I try to Process all I get is a "PROCESS IMAGES"  and the rest of the page is blank.

Then in "All Images" I get the text but no images.

Ok I fixed it.  The "toggling" worked.  Didn't have a "2012" whatever that is but I had a Clean Theme and the Symbiostock 2.5.6

I activated the Symbiostock theme and then reactivated the Clean Theme and it cleaned everything up.

Everything appears to be working now.  Even the ftp and the web upload with the larger upload size working.   Yeah!  Happy dance!  Time for a beer.
