I'd vote for Gates in a nanosecond - he knows what's really happening in the world, and how things might actually be improved.

Gates is not stupid enough to run for POTUS.  But if he did, I  sure hope he wouldn't botch things up like he did with Windows 8.

Trumps newest twist is he is moving from promoting violence at his rallies to threatening to unleash riots on the streets of America if he doesn't get the nomination.

This is how he operates.  His way or else.

I'm surprised he hasn't promised to make the trains run on time.

Most Americans trust successful business leaders far more than they trust politicians.

Bernie hasn't a chance, Hillary was anointed by the Dems a long time ago. The only thing that would keep her out is a trip to prison.

Simply NOT true! After last night Hillary only increased her delegate lead by 57, leaving Sanders plenty of room to eliminate her advantage in the 24 remaining states. A candidate needs 2,383 delegates to clinch the Democratic nomination, and as of March 16, Clinton only has 1,139 delegates to Sanders 825. All of the states most favorable to Clinton have already voted, and the states most favorable to Sanders are still on the calendar.

You must be getting your facts from a Bernie email. The count is 1,606 Hillary to 851 Bernie. She only needs 776 (33% of the rest) more to clinch it.

I believe his remark was made in response to this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7Vv4kRTPLI

Curly Haugland wanted to make a mockery of the democratic process by saying "We choose the nominee, not the voters", and Trump wasn't going to have any of it.

Mincer, running a business and being a salesman is not really a good resume to run a country that if it were a person could be described as a schizophrenic borderline trigger happy maniac with a nuclear weapon trying to feed 319 million people

I actually fear Cruz being on the trigger than Trump. Cruz is the type of crackpot that would start a religious war and cause social unrest. Trump maybe be slightly hotheaded, but he's not an extremist.

If North Korea aims a nuclear weapon at Manhattan, I wouldn't complain if Trump nukes it first.

So your ok with killing 10s of thousands of your own troops thats on the border of N korea as well as the south korean population?

Stop misinforming people! Let the facts speak! >:(
Your math included superdelegates, which is wrong because they can change their votes!!!!  ::)

2,383 to win nomination
Hillary Clinton
1,139
Bernie Sanders
825

Superdelegates Clinton 467, Sanders 26
Superdelegates are democratic party leaders who are free to support any candidate. The majority of the 712 superdelegates have declared support for Mrs. Clinton, though they could switch candidates if she were to lose the lead in pledged delegates, which are awarded based on election results.

http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/us/elections/primary-calendar-and-results.html?_r=0

Who knows what will happen over the next two months. Hillary Clinton's support could completely collapse and Sanders could easily roll up huge margins in every state. Possible.
All of the states most favorable to Clinton have already voted, and the states most favorable to Sanders are still on the calendar.

It's not over till it's over!

Don't take it too literally. If NK has the capability, an ICBM missile defense system will be deployed in Asia as well as Hawaii. The missile may not be able to reach Manhattan. If they have first strike capability and it's DEFCON5 and there was no way to stop it from reaching Manhattan, then yes, surgically nuke them first before they launch theirs.

It's very sad and scary to be casually talking about this as a possible future.  Kim has the same psychological profile as Trump - a narcissistic psychopath - except that with absolute control over his country he is even more dangerous.  They both have serious hair issues as well, although I don't know anything about the size of Kim's hands.  Hopefully the electorate in the US can deal with the threat of Trump.  I just hope the North Korean military will take care of the Kim problem so it doesn't come to anything else.  They must realize that nutcase could have them executed on a whim, hopefully one of them will take action just as some of Hitler's officers tried to assassinate him once they realized he was taking them all down.

Obama hates Trump.
The GOP hates Trump.
Marxist pope hates Trump.
George Soros hates Trump.
Goldman Sachs hates Trump.
Mainstream media hates Trump.

With enemies like this... how bad can he really be? The establishment will do everything they can to stop him. Most likely the GOP will steal his nomination and if he still manages to win as independent he will end up like JFK. Nobody can mess with the one party system disguised as a two party system.

I'm sure you missed a few - a lot more hate him than that!  Of course it isn't him so much as his policies and what he says that are the problem.

Statistically speaking, the only people who love him are poorly educated, underemployed, angry white guys.  Oh, and Vladimir Putin.  Trump is about as bad as you can get, other than Kim Jong-un, of course (who also has endorsed Trump, BTW).

"Donald Trump would lose handily to Hillary Clinton in a general election for one key reason, former Bush 43 aide Tony Fratto said Thursday.

"In the very best of years, when you have a unified GOP, Republicans have an electoral disadvantage relative to the Democratic candidate; that's pretty clear," Fratto told CNBC's "Squawk Box."
"Trump is not going to bring unity to the party. If it's a contested convention, and it's someone else, that's not going to resolve unity either. So, [with] a divided GOP and a fairly unified Democratic candidate, I don't think this is a hard question," said Fratto, the former deputy White House press secretary and now managing director at consulting firm Hamilton Place Strategies."

As far as Bernie is concerned. He's proven that he can't connect with minorities.  A guy from one of the whitest most rural states in the country just doesn't resonate with urban voters.

Just replace Trump with Hitler in your nice little poem. All your statements will still be true, but you'll realize how wrong you are. Unless you admire both (+Putin, of course)

Nothing wrong with Trump winning. People are tired of politicians who promise things and never deliver. People are tried of politicians who are easily bribed by lobbyist groups and help their rich friends get richer.

Trump winning is a shot in the arm for America. He just may be the best candidate in this entire election.

The rich gambling hustler who inherited wealth and bullied his way through life is not the honest deliverer of promises you believe him to be. He may not be a bribed politician because he is the one bribing them. He cares nothing for Jesus, the Constitution nor poor people. He has always put wealth as the marker of success and will only help his rich friends get richer. He cares nothing for you and probably would mock you as a microstock photographer.

Meanwhile, he tricks you into believing that Mexicans, Muslims and young Black Americans tired of being treated like beasts are the cause of your problems.

He threatens people in America and worldwide with violence and war, but probably cannot shoot a gun or take down an attacker without paid bodyguards. He says he is tough, but he cancelled his speech in Chicago because he was afraid. He is a bully and all bullies are weak. I grew up being bullied and I always fought them. He sounds like them and he acts like them. He has no honor and hides his white supremacist ideals and history with the KKK behind the guise of "not being tied to political correctness."

He is the worst option and the only shot in the arm you presume he is, will be from the bullets of riots and civil war he threatens upon the Americans. He makes immigrant and Muslim children in this country fear for their safety as parents of other children cheer USA! USA! as a he mocks them. If you were an immigrant or Muslim, you would understand. In fact, after he foments the riots and civil war, you will have no nation left. He and the Republicans not only want riots, but they want to destroy the government. You will then emigrate to other countries and be rejected like you reject them. Most likely, you will flee to Norway, Sweden, Denmark or another country with universal healthcare and pensions (which Republicans hate). You might even be so bold to discriminate against native born Black and brown skinned Swedes in your new refugee camp.

Nevertheless, if you and all the other worshipers of this false god get your way, I hope that a Black Muslim doctor and a Mexican immigrant nurse attend to your wounds for the chaos that will envelope this nation because this man's arrogance.  >:(

May God save us all from this madness.

Anyone that thinks Trump is a plain speaker and an honest guy, rather than a fraud and huckster should Google Trump University.

And if you think he will bring jobs and higher pay to the US, you should know that many of his products, including Ivanka's fashion line, are made in China.  Plus he has said he thinks wages in the US are too high.

From this point of view both Trump and Sanders are wrong.
Free trade is key to progress and economical growth, but both candidates are against it, because they claim it leads to US job losses.

This is a fallacy.

Yes, it might lead to job losses in inefficient domains. But once China put their hands on dollars paid by Ivanka for her fashion line, they have to spend them somehow (unless they want to burn them in a big green fire)
These dollars will end-up being spent, directly or indirectly, on US goods, in areas where US is really competitive, which will create jobs in those domains, more jobs and better paid jobs than the jobs "lost" to China, in the first place.

In simple terms: even when a lawyer is slightly better than his secretary at typing letters, he is better off when he has his secretary doing this job, because he has more time to focus on what he is really good at: being a lawyer.

A self proclaimed specialist in "great deals" should understand these simple economics. A great deal is a win-win deal.

How can you possibly say an elegantly and intelligently written statement is Trump-like?  Trump wouldn't understand half of the words in there much less their meaning.  Trump likes Twitter because 140 characters is about the limit of his thinking capacity.  Trump writes and speaks like a fourth grader - he doesn't come close to the way Tryingmybest writes.

It's not over till it's over!

While Sanders comes closest to my own views as any candidate I've ever had the chance to vote for, he's got a STEEP hill to climb -- he hasn't done well enough in any of his wins to close the gap, while Hillary has won larger % -- he'll need to win by 60% or more in western states just to keep it close; a win by 2-5% won't do it

after 3/15 Hillary is 100 delegates ahead of what she needs while Bernie dropped farther behind to 150 under his 'targets'

pundits keep talking about momentum and expectations (how far did that carry Rubio?!)   538 does an excellent job of outlining and analyzing the races:

Well-written? Yes. It's also full of hyperbole, something Trump is very good at.

I don't see your point for continuing to compare him to a 4th grader. Exaggeration doesn't make the argument stronger...it has the opposite effect. He has come this far without the backing of the GOP, the media and pretty much every important organization out there, so he must be doing something right. And if you look at past the the surface, he has done a lot of things right.

It certainly isn't exaggeration.  He speaks like an elementary school child.  Everything is either "tremendous" or involves "winning" or it's "awful" and "losing".  He has no vocabulary that I've seen, aside from those simple words, and playground insults at others.
