Adobe Stock / Re: Files being removed from port
« on: April 16, 2025, 15:23 »
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the content discovery experience for both customers and contributors, we have identified and are removing duplicate files on Adobe Stock. You should have received an email regarding this update on February 27, 2025. All assets have been carefully evaluated to ensure minimal impact on your portfolio.
The number in the email is 10% of what was actually removed. The strangest thing is the ones that were accepted, say, 14 days ago, but then subsequently rejected every day. So strange. But sales are so down compared to 2023 anyway, it almost doesn't matter.

since yesterday i noticed these rejections. e.g. "chocolate on white background". i uploaded 3, 10 days ago. 3 accepted.
Yesterday 1 was then rejected for "similarity".
And today the other 2 rejected too for "similarity".
So.. none of the "chocolate" images is left accepted. lol that is weird. Multiple cases like that. Depressing.

And i noticed more rejections for "similarity" for images uploaded 5 months ago. Unique, but a batch of the same topic with same titles. But i don't know.

how you know 52? from the mail or where? mail says "1 or more" but i dont see any changes.

AND, in some cases both of the duplicates were deleted as "already submitted"

how annoying.

52 of my photos and videos are marked for deletion on March 4, 2025. Clips and photos (6 - 7 years old) from the time when I was uploading a whole series. But, yes you are right now... I noticed that they are not only duplicates but the whole batch :)) This action has nothing to do with those generated with AI, I don't have anything like that in my portfolio.

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe Stock 2024 Contributor Bonus
« on: September 20, 2024, 12:09 »
Bonus 2023 + Bonus 2024 = Payouts
Number of images / payouts = 0.029 USD
= All images used for training AI for 0.029 USD each.
What is not correct with that?

Think, if we calculate that the images are used not only today, but also in the next 10 years AND unlimited times, then yes, 0.0000001 USD could be correct.  ;D

I got over $5K with about 8K videos.  How was my "bonus" calculated?
8000/ 5000 ? (if 8K videos uploaded 06/23 - 06/24)
1.60 USD
Iam out of this discussion. Weird   ;D

"The 2024 bonus is based on photos, vectors,or illustrations approved between June 3,2023,and June 2,2024,as well as,for the first time, the all-time number of videos approved through June 2,2024,and the number of licenses that all those assets generated in the same 12-month period".

it's probably a misunderstanding that many have thought about, many believe that the bonus is based on all your content in your portfolio but this is not the case.

0.029 per image is incorrect.

but I think we all should now start dividing all the bonuses for all the years so we get to 0.0000001 per image in few years, and we could all feel better about doing this for sure,I'm very sure that all of us will feel much better after!  :D

Bonus 2023 + Bonus 2024 = Payouts
Number of images / payouts = 0.029 USD
= All images used for training AI for 0.029 USD each.

At least the AI is trained legally.
Still disappointing, because i am training my competition.  :(
Payouts total (Contributor Bonus) / number of images online = 0.029 USD per image  :'(

I am ranked around position 1500. Possible other photographers get more / less.
In my case i earn 0.45 USD per image each year. In the future i will lose these earnings for "0.029 USD" one-time-payment.
I do not know how to feel about.

this calculation is wrong,it would have been right if you only had video in your port,or at least it would have been a result closer to reality.

the second Firefly bonus is calculated on the new content uploaded from June 2023 to June 2024 and for the first time also videos, and on the sales that this new content has generated.

This choice was made, because in this way Firefly is trained based on customer choices, and i think also because it has a lower cost, since the bonus is calculated based on content that has already generated income.
"Payouts". 2x Payout for all my images. No video.
What did I miscalculate? Please do the math instead of philosophizing about it.
Adobe now allowed to use all my images and i have the amount in total i got paid for.
2 data only.  ??? = 0.029 USD a image
But I don't want to discuss the obvious. Please stop here!

Should we expect firefly bonus this year?
:( I want a protection for crawling by firefly and all other crawlers and not a tiny bonus  :( . i see copies of my best seller renderings all over Adobe, even same title and keywords. just read about reddit not allows crawling anymore, by google only. dont know, just want let my bad feeling about this topic out  :o

you're confusing 2 issues

1 - theft of images by individuals

2 - scraping for AI training - and AS lets you opt out having your images used for training
where can i opt out?

they are not downlaoded and re-uploaded. they are 90% similar, as good as the AI can re-create these images

opt out policies are clearly defined by adobe - do your research before making false claims &  complaining about something YOU are responsible for

how did you decide they were '90% similar' - very strange claim

how do you know those 'copied' images are done by ai? why not simple editing by those who copy?  it's nigh impossible for AI to produce something you created - unless you're creating extremely generic image

post your images & the copies to prove your case, otherwise it's just more anti-AI whinging

where's the beef?
why so toxic? Wow  :o
yes they are AI, they are online marked as AI.
And no, before we can not opt out too. So my question and your answer do not fit.
I think you dont know about AI software. You can input a image by a python script and get a similar image out, the data comes from web crawling, firefly is a separate thing that i not even mean! Not only midjourney exist. i could copy your whole portfolio with exact same pose and nearly identical people if the training data includes your photos. I make money by AI too, so you are wrong with all your answers, it is not "anti-AI whinging".
i dont want talk with you more, you are ridiculous. weird. Sorry i have to "ignore your" messages.

attached your image as example, 6 seconds by AI, easy 90% similar

no because it is  >:( "unlimited downloads"

17
saw on youtube as comment lol:
"
"We only train AI on licenced content."

Fine print:
"By using our service you give us a license btw."
"

18
depends on the "similar" case

19
is only PHOTOS and not AI-Photos?

There is NO such thing as AI-Photos.
::) Sure there is, uploading AI you select illustration or photos = ai-photos

20
yes is worth but only if cut out by hand = clean

21

« on: May 06, 2024, 09:58 »
???   0.30 USD too. ByeBye minimum 0.33, welcome 0.10 USD soon, hello poverty as an artist  :o

24
any news here?
i have 2 weeks left

25
If you different portfolios how you can even compare them, I have exactly the same portfolios on AS and SS, for me SS is 3x the number of downloads of AS.
SS 99% are only 0.10 USD per download, for me.
For me SS would need to sell 100 times more then AS.
But AS sells 100 times more then SS.
My case.. AS wins clearly.
