I didn't had unrealistic expectations, but as said apple products cover nearly 60-70% of market share so yes I expected bit more.
Samsung Galaxy S3 had more than such features which we are seeing now in iPhone5.

Where did you get the info on market share from?
Today on the Radio they where talking about a 20% market share from Apple (iPhone) and around 60% Android.

The expectations where way too high. But it still seems like they are just catching up on the competition.
I was also quite excited to see what it will have to offer and am also quite dissapointed. In most regards it isn't much better than my over a year old Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

I have a feeling that android is slowly getting the edge!

Hi,

I'm in the middle of uploading/keywording a batch for Alamy. It's taking for ages!!!
The most time consuming thing is, taking out all the commas between keywords.
Do you do this? I read somewhere in the instructions that it should be without commas, but does it really make a difference?

Would love to hear some tipps etc. because at the i'm in doubt if it is worth it spending so much time for one agency.

As far as i know, the main Advantage is that the 64bit versions can use more than 4gb(in most cases 3,2gb) of ram and therefore is faster. Another thing is that 32bit programs need to run in some kind of compatability mode, which might slow it down a tiny bit.


But if you have a 64bit system, why not just use the 64bit versions of the Programs?

I think the market will support a price of $15 for the largest size, and smaller sizes priced proportionately, which the P5 system will do automatically.  That's what I'm pricing my material at, and I've stopped uploading to the other sites, which means my material will be sold at a reasonable and fair price (with a reasonable and fair commission) from now on because it will only be available on P5.

Yes i agree. I started off pricing my better images at $15 and the rest at $10.

Quite a risk you are taking with only uploading to P5 !

How are you guys managing to add 2 model releases to photos. For me it always only accepts the first release i add :/

123RF always used to be my second or third best agency. But since a few months ago, they are hardly selling anything and settled at the bottom of the middle Tier. Wonder what happend. Maybe Karma

Do you guys have FTP Upload?
I signed up but cannot find any information regarding FTP.

Why not delete images that have not had a sale in 6 months (or a year). That should reduce the images on sale by quite a bit!

My GF is from Germany. Berlin is amazingly cheap. Huge Apartments. Good for installing Studios. Munich is exactly the opposite. Very expensive and too little space. Thats true. Munich is Germany's most expensive City. I don't know about Berlin, but i was in Cologne a month ago and it was great. The prices where quite cheap compared to Austria and the people where also very nice there.

i have 427 and had 112 sales this month. Could be better, but i have always seen an increase of sales while increasing my port.

I would like to add, that i was using Deepmeta at my average(comfortable) speed. Wasn't trying set any records or anything!

i can give you the example of Bangkok, a big city, expensive by thai standards.

Rather than living fairly well, it sounds like surviving in a big city with no family.

There are definately cheaper Countries/Cities than Cape Town.

There are also other reasons to move to Cape Town. Great Weather. Wonderful City. Unbeliveable Landscapes and a huge amount of Models.

I think the combination of these Qualities made him move there.
