General Stock Discussion / Re: my design in temu.com
« on: July 04, 2024, 13:44 »
A quick search, and you find thousands of almost identical ones (Google image or search on Adobe stock). Nothing creative or authentic here. Made in 60 seconds in illustrator by a no skill beginner.

So, I'm given a preferential treatment?  I take it!!

hmmm, wait for the next...

Pigs are very kind animals. Do you have problems with pigs?
Try to express yourself with your own swords words now...

Just ignore the silly little troll.

I teach a class on stock photography and how to work with international agencies for media producers

So... you pretend to be a teacher for stock photography in  real life, don't you?  ;)
Are you teaching your incompetence and lack of success?
If the price of your class is that of a ticket to a comedy show, I'm willing to participate!

Are you that desperate for truth, real life, organic humanity and authentic nature?
Your are as synthetic as the AI images the machine produces for you.

The struggle is real indeed. Only 8 sales today so far. pos 5140.

But I am already selling easter eggs...

I am trying to add more people, but it is a slow process.

Only 8!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I did much more, and of course not a single AI image in my port, only the true world represented.
Where is your miracle of generating AI photograshits?  ;D ;D ;D

107
Haha - that's an absolutely valid point!  :)

For me I feel my time is better spent shooting content and working on color grades rather than keywording. That being said, we've built our tool so it allows for editing and instructions. We still oversee and add keywords ourselves, but we spend 10% of the time compared to what we used to do.

What?? you still shoot and edit???
Don't you know you could divide by ten your time by generating AI images photographies???  ;D

More seriously, I consider myself more intelligent and capable of adapting than a machine. And I think I can understand better.

The AI can only take inspiration from what the majority does, to generate indexing which will not demonstrate singularity. While this is the key to make these images emerge among millions. More time to produce than to index, that's a good idea. It is also necessary that indexing does not make all production less visible.

Wirestock would be interested by your development. I am happy that I only sent them crappy photos just to test, years ago.

108
Good news for the people who are currently using HS (Human Stupidity) for keywording.
I will still use HI (Human Intelligence) that can be useful and makes more independent.
I prefer to understand the algorithms for good positioning through indexing, rather than being subjected to AI bugs and misunderstandings.

If machines do everything, what will humans do???  ;D

Change is a constant in life. If you can't adapt, you'll be left behind.

In the range of ready-made expressions, there is also: having missed the train  ;)
You started in 2021. It was really sooooo late! Your remark is funny, because yourself have been left behind from the start!

Refusing "adapting" can also be a choice, and even another way of success.
All sheeps adapt to the herd, thats for sure. Adapting to theft, to time wasted on useless work can also be a choice, but some may refuse it.

Adobe Stock / Re: Adobe has blocked my account
« on: June 05, 2024, 01:53 »
Really, I can't believe that Adobe closes accounts on the only basis of "passive innocent" violations of terms of service, in case of tier stolen credit cards and download bombing. If no proof that the given contributor participated in any action, how could they legally suspend an account?
They can close an account on their own decision, without giving any reason. If that is the case, then Adobe really falled down.

115
I have this :  Image Upload - Quicklive is active for you
Very quick review for my images.
I don't submit AI generated fake photos. Only worked and selected photos.

Other agencies should do the same and not treat all contributors the same way. But I'm sure we'll get there.

116
this whole thread is a disappointment
Right, and many who would have thought the same have gone now.

Vegan Wars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGsW0yLYao0

Deepfakes, or the technological art of confusing minds willing to let themselves be manipulated, have never made me smile or laugh.

Distorting reality is only funny when the maneuver is visible and understandable to everyone. Perverting or polluting it will perhaps dissuade some people from being informed and educated by screens.
The worst is that we will call into question the visual testimony of truth, of reality, of the historical past or of distant events.

119
The future is always the consequence of choices, revisable at any time.
An incredible blindness here, ultimately, proof that you renounce your own organic vision, which you entrust to machines. If photography does not represent reality, then it is no longer a question of photography. Simply using this word is an admitted falsification. Do you attribute humanist intentions to Adobe? no but seriously!...

Some become like machines, others will remain human. Only sheep think that there is only one type of future in which everyone will live in the same way.

Sounds like 6 or 7 year old female child wrote it.

Ugh. Why on earth did you feel the need to write female there?

"ugh." why on earth you did you feel the need to feel offended because that was written there?

(a) because it actually was written by a female. read the signature.
(b) because it sounds like it was written by a female. if it sounded like it was written by a male, I would have said that instead.

the significance of that statement is the age. the letter sounds like it was written by an impetuous female child throwing a temper tantrum, not written by a mature woman with a well thought out letter, detailing specifically exactly how a particular ad campaign actually effects other photographers, and a specific resolution of what she would request by done on behalf of the members to having a more amicable business relationship going forward.

the is very immature letter and sounds like it is written by a female child throwing a temper tantrum because her feelings were hurt, and she wants to take her ball and go home.

Adobe Stock / Re: Firefly AI rejections on Adobestock
« on: May 21, 2024, 06:05 »
Is anyone else getting frustrated with the Adobestock rejection rate of Adobe Firefly AI generated images of people?
...
I find I am getting frustrated with the high rejection rate of Firefly v3 ...

Frustration intolerance  is a serious issue for immature children, we can understand. But as the years go by, you will become more able to handle it.
Soon, it will no longer be AI images that will be rejected, but AI image contributors... I guess we'll hear more about frustration here...
Fake AI artificial faces with excessive smiles... you really have to want the dream that it sells.

My April 2024 just went up
My month of April 2024 has not changed and it is still located between March and May 2024.
Oh sorry, were you talking about the amount earned on Istock? well, this amount for me has not changed, it is the same as the one recorded a few days ago.

[Edit]: English is not my mother tongue...  ;)

123
8 photographs rejected by Adobe because they are "During our review, we found that it is likely to be generated by AI and not labelled as such".

It's not true, I've emailed Adobe support - just annoying I keep having to prove I'm not plagarising other's work.
Adobe employees vs AI

;D ;D ;D

Now, seriously, meanwhile, tons of AI-generated images are presented as real photographs to Adobe customers. This company is scuttling itself and is losing its reputation for serious.
Adobe should train its workers a little better, and they should learn that a human body does not have 3 legs and 12 fingers...

A scientific study has provided proof! mediocrity is not incompatible with technology, nor with modernity...

Everything is confessed here by Apple in this new advertisement.
But it seems that they have decided to abandon its broadcast. This undoubtedly betrays the discomfort of having demonstrated honesty and sincerity with this particularly dystopian message.
But it's still online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntjkwIXWtrc

We of course all have in mind the famous Apple advertisement of 1984, 40 years ago already...

125
Your positioning is clear. And you have some nerve to intervene on this post.  ;D
You should look for the post with the petition: "Come on people! Signing! PRO AI"  ::)
or go and pour out your views on the numerous posts that praise all the advantages of AI

Unfortunately, the vast majority of those who still speak here are won over by AI.
Otherwise, the approach of this petition is commendable. But, I doubt Adobe will change its policy, they enjoy an all-powerful situation. And they dare to talk about ethics...

as I have already said,I am in favor of the petition,I hope it will be accepted.  :)
I think creating using AI is a good thing, but placing a limit on the AI content that can be uploaded is an equally good thing.
I believe that 500 AI contents in queue per account are more than enough,it seems like a good wide limit to me.
but in any case mine is a limited vision, while Adobe has a broader vision of the situation,so I'm more than sure that they will do the best thing.

Since you are still here, the principle of unfair competition, of large-scale theft of intellectual property, does that speak to you, does that revolt you?

Do you have any idea of the work and time required to produce 500 professional quality images (photo, 3d, vector...) of 500 different subjects, for someone who does not use AI?

And frankly, your endless praise for Adobe...  ::)
