Dreamstime.com / Re: DT doesn't like forum threads about subscriptions. Why not?« on: August 30, 2009, 05:03 »
Isn't this one of the main reasons for having this forum? The sites have a right to police and censor their forums any way they want. We are not citizens, and do not have any right to free speech on their sites. We have the right bring the discussion here and continue it to our hearts content. It seems a bit naive not to expect them to delete posts they don't like.
What I don't like are those sites who punish people for being outspoken here, and it has happened in the past. That says a lot more about the management of those sites. 128

You all have some really nice stores. I am impressed with you all! I joined a lot of your fan clubs. I trade as Eggznbeenz on Zazzle, I only just got into it, so I am still learning how the site works.

I had something similar a couple of years ago. It was the power supply to the monitor. The monitor would act oddly for a while, then turn itself off randomly. Have you ruled that out?

I think it may depend on timing, if they are having payment once or twice a month you could end up waitig for the next run. 138
Print on Demand Forum / Re: Sold one business card again! :D« on: August 14, 2009, 02:16 »
Since they redesigned the site and hid the links to artists ports away in the Community section with the forums, sales have dried up. I hardly sell anything there now.

A few years ago I changed banks for the same reason. Now the major banks advertise that your call will be answered by someone in Britain!

523 on line, approx. 10% have views. I am not checking all that lot!
I am disappointed that we cannot edit the files transferred from SV. It would help sales if the customers could actually find the images! My impression of the site so far is good, but lots of room for improvement. 144
Bigstock.com / Re: How are you doing at BigStock?« on: August 05, 2009, 11:52 »
100 files is not a lot if you want to generate regular income from BIgStock. 1000+ is more like it. Illustrations sell well there.

I think the days of feeding the beast are over at SS. I sometimes go weeks without uploading, and see no drop in sales. They are pretty constant. 123 is more erratic, sometime I have days there without sales,so maybe feeding the beast would work on that site.

I am still getting plenty of PPD sales, so I will continue to upload until they stop. I do lots of illustrations, and IS doesn't like raster illustrations so much, so I will carry on them all to SX.
