Just deleted a photo with no sales in 4 years at DT. I don't mind cleaning up photos with little sales potential, but this photo has sold 67 times on another site. 0 sales at DT vs 67 sales elsewhere makes no sense, think it must do with lack of marketing at DT.
Just curious as to how many views had reportedly happened on this image as per DT. (I dont have any explanation when images get viewed in the hundreds with no DLs in DT!)

Has anyone else had a really slow couple of days? My sales on shutter have been tiny for about 2-3 days.

To Opt OUT of DPC:
In Fotolia website: My Account > My Profile > Contributor Parameters > Sell my files on DPC - Modify (Make sure the text now reads "Don't sell my files on DPC) and Save parameters

FT have added the option to OPT OUT OF DPC. You can find it on the 'My Account' Page under 'Actions'. The 'default' value is 'OPT IN'. I have modified to change it to 'OPT OUT'.
I just checked FT site and the 'OPT OUT for DPC" is GONE I tried logging out and logging in again, but still cant see the option. Can anyone else also check this in FT ?
OK. It has been moved to a different place. It is currently under ' My Profile' and in that under ' Contributor Parameters'

Fotolia response to the closure of my portfolio at Dollar Photo Club : ... Fotolia team cares very much for the photographers and respects your opinions and feedback. Your concerns about being in Dollar Photo Club have been heard and soon an option for contributors to choose will be made available to all Fotolia contributors. In the meantime if you do not want your images sold through Dollar Photo Club send your request via a Fotolia customer support ticket and you will be manually removed. Your new works will not appear on Dollar Photo Club. As I mentioned before our contributors are very important to us and we do our very best that they will get the highest earnings possible in the current market situation. ...
I got the exact same reply. I have removed the other paragraphs and have added bolded the phrase which says only the NEW works will not make it to DPC.

The four corners seem to be a bit darker than the center. Perhaps the reviewer does not want to see that effect. I am personally fine with the effect though

I have noticed that no new images have moved from IS to TS. The last ones have been around the end of Mar-2014. Is it just a delay or is it due to the IS subs program ? I may have missed the finer details of IS subs in that TS may also cease to exist or take on a new avatar (like photos.com).
As per this ( http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=359960&page=1) thread in IS forum, the delay in movement of files from IS to TS is due to a backlog. Fingers crossed

If they decided to move all the thinkstock customers back into istock it would be a huge boost for the exclusives. Many of them were never opted in to the pp program and their expensive work wasn't mirrored anyway.
So if they slowly shift customers back to istock and fully focus all marketing for subs and credit sales on it, this should bring a significant increase in revenue, especially for the exclusives.
I have never understood why they divided their marketing time, money and attention on so many different agencies that all compete with each other. The internet favors companies with one strong brand...the way the major competitor has been doing it...

I accessed photos.com site today and could see that the site has been transformed to a prints site (similar to FAA). I seem to have missed the announcements that Getty would have made.

Yes. I have a lower acceptance rate in FT compared to SS. I have learnt not to worry about FT's rejections because, they don't sell well enough what they accept in the first place. So, even if they were to accept more, I doubt whether I will sell more. SS on the other hand, does reject some, but they do find ways to sell the ones they accept. My sales in SS are 6x when compared to FT.

My port in SS is relatively small and so far, I have had two <$5 SODs. I would love to see more and higher value ones, but I think without people images in my port, I may not get that many !

It's better, but buggy. Just had a bunch of EPS files rejected for being corrupted. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. Good luck posting any comments or suggestions on the DT forum. They love to delete mine.
+1 Happened to me today. Had to reupload the eps files.

"Fill it; Shut it; Forget it" used to be the catch phrase of a 2-wheeler ad to highlight the higher mileage of the vehicle. With IS, I follow the "Upload it; Submit it; Forget it" mantra PS: It used to take 10 days for the review of images. Currently it takes around 8-9 days.
