So, are the pictures submitted to Instant collection at Fotolia?

And do the other agencies even accept mobile images?

On Bigstock? 10$/month - if youre lucky  ;)

Contributers get free credits for uploading and can use them to "buy" images. So if even if you "sell" something you dont necessarily get any compensation for it...

@skyfish:

This topic is about StockSubmitter (see sub forum) not about the upload via the 123RF website.

MicrostockSubmitter / submit for 123RF not working
« on: June 25, 2015, 02:06 »
I am getting a "connection error" message when submitting to 123RF. But the upload to 123RF is actually working, so the connection is working fine.

Have been unable to submit for 3 days. Are you aware of the issue, Niakris?

Mat, how long does the transfer from FT to AS take for new images?

@Sean, I don't know the answer to that question. I will ask.

-Mat

I got 50 approved images yesterday, and today they are on AS. So it is very quick.
Today I received mail 11:06 AM and now is 12:09 and it is there.

Wow, yes, new uploads are already there.  Super quick.  Good system.

Accordingto yesterday's presentation they use the same database. So it should actually be instant.

MicrostockSubmitter / Fotolia upload not working
« on: June 12, 2015, 02:52 »
Hi Niakris,

Fotolia changed everybodys FTP passwords on Wednesday. Since then the upload is not working anymore. Not the with old site login/password settings and not with the new member ID/FTP password either.

I already sent an email to mephisto123 (at) gmail.com but got no reply. Are you aware of the problem?

« on: June 09, 2015, 05:39 »
I am not one of the down voters eithers - but I can sort of understand them...

This week you post "best sunday ever"
last week is was "worst week ever"
before that "most ELs ever"
and "3 day weekends"

You seem to start alternating "booh" and "hooray" threads almost every week... proving yourself that your "facts" are rather short-lived and have no real significance.

Just my 2 cents - you can disagree if you want to... ;)

Does anyone know at what date they pay out?

Has Lee left the forum?
If you hit pay out, request it, and you will get paid around the 3rd of the following month

This is no longer necessary.  No need to request payment.  Once you hit payout you will automatically be paid the following month.  Payment will be for the total earnings through the end of the month in which you reach payout,

Thats what I thought. I hit payout early in May and am now waiting for my first transfer.

Got the money today. So it is automated.

General Stock Discussion / Keyword "caucasian"
« on: April 26, 2015, 08:57 »
For most of my people photos I use "caucasian" as a keyword. But with the likes of SS and DT quoting the keywords the buyers were searching for, I dont remember having EVER seen "caucasian" leading to a sale...

Do you have different experiences? Or is it simply useless as a keyword?

Yes, me too.

As a private individual, I have come to expect nothing of benefit to me from large publicly-owned corporations.....and, so far, I have not been disappointed. Every individual, whether employed or as freelance, has to work harder and harder for less and less reward to satisfy the demands of the stockholders for ever greater return. It's the way the system works and I'm used to it by now.  :(
With all do respect, if everyone thinks like that, you give them free hand to screw you over till you have no other choice then to pack up and find a day job.

Reminds me of a docu called Food Inc. Chicken farmers squeezed dry by corporates  to the bone until they cave.

So what are YOU going to do about it?
I closed several accounts and started my own site selling direct. What about you?

You closed your shutterstock account? No, of course you didnt...  ::)

(This thread is about SS. You should know, you started it.)

Hi Lee,

could you put mine through as well? Thanks!

200
FWIW: It seems that you can find the DP images ONLY via the image number - NOT via keywords.
I found my images via keywords. 2 or 3 keywords and my images are shown up on the first page. I' m not registered there.

Well, MY images that have been REMOVED from the partner program on DEPOSIT are not searchable via keywords.

(I can still find my images on ibudget but they from Dreamstime and that wasnt the question.)
