Hello Everyone,

Thank all of you for your patience, I'm glad to announce that the earnings reporting have been fixed, the amounts you now see should be the correct ones.

Please let us know if there are still any problems.

Thank you very much.

Hi Everyone,

Yes, we understand your concern, the mix up of old and new credit packages along with Mayday special is a little bit difficult to handle.

The price per credit of the old packages are being retained, while we have to calculate the new price per credit of the new packages. In addition to that, do remember that we're giving 30% extra credits (we bear this cost entirely by 123RF) to customers who purchased credit packages in May.

Therefore, I hope you can see that it's no small matter when a client downloads images using credits from any two of the sources above.

So please don't worry, we have logged everything, and if there's a problem we'll attend to it. It's a simple matter of making sure the proper calculations are being done accurately and correctly.

Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

Our IT team stayed back very late on Friday and are on high alert on the weekend (as am I) to ensure that:
1) the pricing packages were introduced smoothly,
2) along with the Mayday Special Extravaganza,
3) with the inclusion of EVO content,
4) new blog sizes and mega hi sizes, and
5) making sure that the searches were turning up content from both 123RF standard and EVO but not at everyone's expense while
6) making sure that the site doesn't go down at the same time.

I believe they did a helluva good job looking at their scary deliverables list.

Now, if you have any misgivings you wish to bring up, I welcome you to send the list to me: [email protected], it is entirely possible that the calculations for your earnings may have been somewhat missed in the process of rolling in the new packages.

Therefore, do give us the benefit of the doubt and yeah, the figures don't look very accurate. Nevertheless, we've logged the download sizes and credit pricing, what's left is to make sure they tally and the calculations are done properly.

I do apologize for the panic attack this has caused and do send them in, we're all ears and all complaints will be duly attended to.

Thank you all and I wish everyone the best!

Alex.

  • EVO has just gone live.
  • Free images are now blog size only
  • We're running a Mayday Special Extravaganza (30% discount) - 123RF absorbs cost entirely to encourage purchases and drive sales.
  • New Price packages will be in place now.

Thank you!

Alex.

New pricing credits will take effect today, 2nd May.

Please remember that old credits still retain their value, hence, it's 100% fair for everyone.

Thanks and let's look forward to a great future together! More sales!

123RF / Re: Payment in 123RF
« on: April 30, 2008, 02:32 »
interestingly enough, we do finalize who we're going to pay come 3rd or 4th day of the new month.

However, things get a bit awkward when someone changes their settings. Meaning they have $70 in their account, which means they can quality for Paypal payment, however, they have set their earnings to be paid at $100. If they update their personal information and set it to $50 AFTER the 3rd or 4th day, we don't pick it up until the following month.

Therefore, in these cases, please contact us, and we'll include it into our payment list :)

Hope that's clear...!

Alex.

 Dear 123RF contributors,

You do not have to request payment from us.  We constantly monitor your account and if your earnings has surpassed the limits as set in your personal information you can expect payment from us in the middle of the next following month.

For example,

   1. You manage to earn $60 in total at the end of June 2007.
   2. Our system will process and finalise the figure at the beginning of July 2007.
   3. if you chose to be paid by PayPal, and you have chosen the minimum pay out of $50 this means that you qualify for payment.
   4. You should receive $60 in your PayPal account in mid-July 2007.

Please bear in mind of the following:

   1. For payments made via PayPal -- the minimum is $50 and you will receive payment in the middle of the next following month.
   2. For payments made via MoneyBookers -- the minimum is $100 and you will receive payment in the middle of the next following month.
   3. For payments made via check  --  the minimum is $200 and you will receive payment at the end of the next following month.

I hope this has been clear.  If you have any other questions regarding payment please e-mail us.

Thank you very much,

alex

(this is a standard response for Contributors who request payments :))

123RF / Re: My take on 123rf
« on: April 27, 2008, 20:00 »
;D You may go back to your release folder, select the releases you require then select to attach them to photos.

Thereafter, you may filter the results using this:

"Rejected for no or incomplete MR".

When you do that, all rejected ones will be shown and you can attach the MR as normal.

If you do that all rejected items will be fed back into the pending queue, our review team will then take a look once more.

I will tell the team to cool down a little, if no MR for 2 days, we'll start rejecting.

Thank you very much, if there are any problems, please contact our submission email - [email protected]

Hi everyone!  ;D

EVO - It's not exclusive, neither is it a grab for exclusive images.

A panel decides who gets invited to contribute to EVO.

Criteria are quality of shots, very stock oriented.
Sales are also part of the equation but not a major deciding factor.

20 uploads a day quota, will go up or down depending what material is submitted to EVO.

General Stock Discussion / Re: 123RF rejections
« on: April 16, 2008, 21:33 »
Hi All,

With respect to any rejections, please just let me say that you may email us directly - submission(at)123rf.com for a re-review or explanation. We practice an open door concept whereby you can always submit your appeals for a re-review.

As for chode's rejections (good thing he maintains the same uid at 123rf) it's the buttons of the gentleman's jacket. Each button bears a coat of arms for which the reviewer felt could be copyrighted. We look at images at a actual pixel size, yes, we've been quite lax in the past, but we're cleaning up things on 123RF.

Therefore, I hope I made 123RF's stance clear, if there's anything that could lead to a copyright/branding/release problem, it'll most likely be rejected, but do appeal if you feel that they're unwarranted.

I get these emails everyday and if the need arises, I'll do a very small screenshot and show you the problem, you then use photoshop to clone it out and resubmit, it'll be accepted.

Thank you very much!
