For my part, I have blocked the profiles that only express a permanent pro-AI logorrhea, because the discussion is futile.
The only effect of expressing a divergent opinion can only make one feel alone and powerless.
Or you can stick your head in the sand or someplace else, and ignore anyone who has a different opinion, even those who might be right, where you could learn something?

My Aurora images just got accepted. Oh that's the ones I uploaded in August. So much for timely review so something in the news can be used.
Maybe if you take a photo of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS? By the time it's around here again, Adobe might review your photos?
Might be true. I just uploaded the Full Moon and if it gets reviewed by December, it will be current events?

Anyone received Adobe firefly bonus from wirestock?
I have many videos which sold many times through Adobe stock from from wirestock. But till now wirestock not added any firefly bonus amount to my account, and no information about it yet.
There's no connection. Sales are sales. Firefly uses by Adobe have nothing to do with sales. True, if they are on Adobe and were used for training AI, we should get a credit from Wirestock. Has anyone asked WS where the pay is?

The missing piece of information is the amount that youre going to be paid for using images or video as a starting point for AI modification.
It could be a very low amount. Or not.
How much is a Custom license now? Most of mine are in the low 90 range, some are .42 and lower. I thought the idea was, we get paid for every use, instead of only once for training. Now that's not good enough?

My Aurora images just got accepted. Oh that's the ones I uploaded in August. So much for timely review so something in the news can be used. If the usual is true, I uploaded some from the most recent CME event and maybe they will be on sale in December? Much to my surprise and with the new system at Getty, I had one accepted and it was downloaded the next day. Reminds me of the old days. I'm working on what I will be uploading in January, so I can get enough approved for the bonus. My six month old image, quietly passed last week. That was a news image about a bridge that was shut down for restoration. I know they aren't live news, but six months for an image review?

I don't understand what is going on...
18.850...

The number is relative to how many downloads anyone else gets. It means that 18,849 people had more DLs than you did. Just for the absurd, if you had 100 and 18,849 have 101, that's where you are. Of course it's not that close, but still, it's downloads, not income. At least that's what we have been told. No one seems to say anything except, "my rank is..." no one says where that position number actually comes from or how? I just dropped 2,000 places since yesterday. If I cared and watched closer, I could get 3 DLs at the start of the week, and jump up, 10,000 places. Best to you and I hope your earnings make a comeback.

"What to know
At least 215 people are known to have died as a result of the destruction wrought by Hurricane Helene since it made landfall in Florida a week ago.
More than half of the deaths were in North Carolina, (95) where several feet of fast-moving water destroyed entire communities.
Hundreds are still missing, and officials have reported difficulties in identifying some of the dead."
WBTV There have been a total of 95 confirmed deaths from Hurricane Helene as of Monday, Oct. 14, according to the NCDHHS.
The largest number of deaths coming from Buncombe County one of the hardest hit counties in western North Carolina.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services stated the following:
We are aware there are additional reports of decedents, and our team is working to verify that these are storm related deaths. Life-saving activities will always take priority, and we will continue to work to update this information as appropriately as possible.

Very disappointed...
13.10.2023 - 9.697 files (this week position) 2.890 / (life time position) 11.500 13.10.2024 - 11.817 files (this week position) 16.350 / (life time position) 10.200
And sales have also fallen continuously.

Don't be disappointed, the number means nothing and if the story and what we believe is true, it's only counting downloads. Of course the part that makes that confusing is, two people with identical numbers have different position. It Is Not Rank. Also two people with different DL numbers have the identical position. In other words, you already know your sales have dropped and that's why your position has dropped. Nothing else matters. More sales, you get a "better" position number. Nothing but bragging rights.

Furries: The term furry describes a diverse community of fans, artists, writers, gamers, and role players. Most furries create for themselves an anthropomorphized animal character (fursona) with whom they identify and can function as an avatar within the community. Some furries wear elaborate costumes (called fursuits) or paraphernalia such as animal ears or tails, or represent themselves as anthropomorphic animals in online communities such as Second Life.
Furries are an excellent case study for the psychological principle of moral inclusion and how it relates to non-human animals. Put simply, when something is included within a persons moral domain, it is subject to their moral principles. In contrast, things excluded from that moral domain are deemed beyond moral consideration. Practically speaking, those who fall within our in-group tend to also fall within our moral domain, while those belonging to out-groups are less likely to gain moral consideration. In the case of furries, who spend considerable time anthropomorphizing animals, this means that many non-human animals fall within the same moral domain as people do.
Furries are seven times more likely than the general population to identify as transgender and about five times more likely to identify as non-heterosexual. Given this composition, it should come as no surprise that the furry fandom is a community defined in no small part by its inclusivity. This fandom embraces the norms of being welcoming and non-judgmental to all.
There you go, furries, trans, Quadrobists , and most if not all of the odd groups = community, group, inclusivity, acceptance.

Life is full of irony and just a few weeks after "recommending" Copytrack, they give me a notice of payment for an image I've used legitimately in one of my blog posts. Full story here.
https://brutallyhonestmicrostock.com/2024/10/11/from-interview-series-to-legal-battle-yay-images-and-copytrack-come-after-the-brutally-honest-blog/
Interesting reading and that reminds me of when Getty was doing the same. I don't see them in the news as much as years back. Yay has been a no go for me, from the day they opened. "Oh and no news yet on me getting sued via Alamy" I missed the story on that, link please, or can you provide a quick summary? OK I found it: https://brutallyhonestmicrostock.com/2024/04/30/april-2024-brutally-honest-earnings-report-special-getting-sued-edition/I don't know how the German courts work, but in many other countries, BiLD would be liable for expenses and fined for a frivolous lawsuit. At the very least some sanctions. Some background: Bild is Europes largest daily newspaper and the publishers crown jewel. But Axel Springer has sought to expand its digital presence in recent years, especially in the United States, through the acquisition of Business Insider now called Insider and newsletter producer Morning Brew. Its $1 billion takeover of Politico is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021.
In 2019, US private equity giant KKR took Axel Springer private in a deal that valued the publisher at 6.8 billion ($7.2 billion).
They are a big dog. Rating: Overall, we rate Bild Right-Center biased based on sensationalized news reporting and right-leaning editorial positions. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to misleading headlines and a failed fact check. Ownership and brands: https://www.axelspringer.com/en/brands

Perfect quote, since I might as well be writing to an empty black mirror. Speaking of ignoring and repeating? You didn't answer? You go to a mechanic and he replaces your rotors and brake pads. You pay for the parts and labor. Then you should pay him a fee, monthly, every time you use the brakes on your car? A parallel would be, the AI software PAYS to use your image, one time, and only one time, why do you expect to get paid, every time the software creates a new image, which is made without accessing or using your image again? They have paid for the parts and labor. The images are used one time, to create a model and that machine learning model, creates the new images. Your images, and mine, are never USED again. Single Use.

Adobe Stock does not accept ZIP-files (containing EPS and JPG) anymore. Instead EPS-files only should be uploaded. Is there a way to embed title and keywords in the EPS? I keyworded in Illustrator, but Adobe Stock apparently is not able to read them out.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
use bridge to keyword in eps
As someone who doesn't use bridge and it might take me a long time to stumble around and find the answer. IF... I already have the tags and everything on the JPG from some other software, can I copy that to the EPS, using bridge? I do all my keywording and data in BreezeBrowser. Pro. Which does not read or write from EPS but has many fine features for JPGs.

Project 2025 will eliminate FEMA. A Project 2025 spokesperson confirmed that the proposal does not seek to eliminate FEMA: Rather than "cutting" FEMA, Project 2025 is advocating for a realignment of the agency's mission and focus away from DEI and climate change initiatives and restoring it to that of helping people before, during, and after disasters.
Biden administration spent FEMA hurricane relief money on illegals It conflates the agency's disaster relief fund with a separate program that helps homeless people. The money provided by Congress for the disaster relief fund must be used for that purpose, and any other use is against the law.
Both are the true answers to the false claims, minus the political biased spin and lies.

The people behind the "AI" (which is not a thinking machine, and it is for the most part a jewish/"identify"asjewish consoratorium of people) are engaged in a combination of massive theft, and then trickery/deception/manipulation/etc to try to get you 'out' of business for a teensy tiny payment - because they want a "in-perpetuity" model where people use THEIR stuff, NOT yours.
Really? No discussion from you, with attacks like that, are worth answering. I'll just quote you: And the psychos LOVE playing "the victim" to make them appear above reproach. They are prolific liars, and when/if confronted - tend to double down on their lies to try and confuse the person challenging them - because most (normal) people are good people, and find it really difficult to believe there could be such psychotic sociopathic liars. Sadly though, they do exist - and a good portion of them pushed this total con (surprisingly) on most of the world.

c) Companies that "license" the dataset should be paying in perpetuity (i.e., monthly, regular income) for ANY "data training", because obviously they want to make "perpetual revenue"- and by stealing/using other people's data with the current "one-time peanuts payment" - essentially you are making extremely low cost competition for yourself for peanuts. You should be compensated EVERY single time someone makes an image/video/etc based off ANY kind of model derived from your works.
You go to a mechanic and he replaces your rotors and brake pads. Then you should pay him a fee, monthly, every time you use the brakes on your car? The images are used one time, to create a model and that machine learning model, creates the new images. Your images, and mine, are never USED again. When you license a stock image, the contract often says in perpetuity now. Same for a training use for AI. It has been licensed for use, forever, not for a single use. If you prefer that to a single use, which is what the actual use was, then fine. We still get nothing more than what the training has paid for. Another complication, if there are 10,000 images of a pickle, used to train the software, then every time the software makes a pickle, 10,000 people should be paid again, for having their image used in training the machine? How do you know which images were used for every new image? There is no direct connection back to any specific image, when the machine creates a new image, from what it has learned. I'd really like someone to answer that last question.

The toggle switch has now come back.
It must have been a technical glitch. Please overlook this post
Does someone read an approve or reject releases that are new? Or are these old releases that have been used in the past?

The larger the time period you look at, the smaller the variability should be. Humans can find all sorts of patterns in actual random events, and for various reasons, sales really aren't random.
Backwards from my perspective, correct, sales aren't random and they also aren't controlled. There needs to be a need, and that varies. Yes, humans see patterns where there are none. Our brains are creative and make associations, sometimes coincidence can look like a pattern. A larger sample of sales over a longer time, will show less variation. Last one, which you and other may have answered. The longer that anyone is trying to earn money from Stock Photos, the more images you add, will not produce a proportional or steady gain in income, at the same rate that the earlier images did. Maybe for some people, if they learn and change, but just adding more, new and better, doesn't always equal the same return. I don't want to be negative, but the facts are and have been and will be: Microstock is not going to make a comeback. If someone has a RPI of $## for 100 images, they will not have 10 times the RPI for 1,000 images. There is no direct one to one correlation between the number of images and the earnings. The commissions and sales are dropping across the industry. The growth of the stock image industry has slowed or halted. Images get old, and don't earn as much as they did when they were new. I made more on SS or IS in a day, some days, 15 years ago, than I make in a month now. I have the same images and many more. How's that for growth? (note: IS did remove my Motorsports images). I made more in the first year at Alamy, for single image sales, than I do in a year for all my sales. I have thousands more images. Adobe continues to grow for me, or has? But I'm pretty sure I've hit the wall there for income. Steady and holding is far better than anyplace else, as all the rest are making me less and less, every year.

Do you have any other case studies of contributors experiencing this sort of evident stability? It's not my own personal experience on AS.
Not mine. My sales vary by season and because I have some seasonal items that do better from October to January. Do you have any other case studies of contributors experiencing this sort of evident stability? It's not my own personal experience on AS.
no and it's all purely based on my experience.
but does it really matter?
How do you think I can have the same number of sales every month for nine months?
come on,it's impossible!
Yes it matters, that you only use the numbers from your sales and ignore the rest of the universe. No it's not impossible, you have proven that by your own numbers. The answer is you must have a good balance of content and diversity, your downloads stay fairly consistent. Nice work.

Injustice for all, have you been banned on iStock? Why?
Glad to see you picked up on that too, I was going to ask the same question: I also worked with Istock before,I worked very hard,I dedicated 4 whole years of my life to Istock, and to do what?To get a nice kick in the butt with an email that arrived in the middle of the night.
it's not like Istock emailed me to tell me:"We encountered this problem,do you have anything to say about it?"
no,they proclaimed themselves judges, jury, prosecution and accused, they did everything themselves, completely getting the evaluation wrong, and destroying 4 and a half years of work in a second.
iStock Exclusive? What happened? No appeal? This is why exclusive doesn't work. It's also funny to remember people saying Adobe should offer an exclusive program, or SS should, when they would never want that for their own reasons. None of that is about us, or our benefit or gain.

Also noticed almost all sales are now low value SODs not subscriptions. Previously subs made up 90% of sales.
Yes, same for me. Nearly no subs and almost all sales are now OD or SO. Perhaps the sub people have moved to IS or AS or somewhere else, like those horrid places like Freepik. Anyone who contributes to Freepik is cutting their own (and our) subscription sales at SS, by direct competition.

I have an image that I would like to upload as a JPG, PNG AND SVG. Would I just upload the png which would automatically be a jpg also but upload the svg as a separate file? Or what is the best way of going about it?
Thanks
https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/en/uploads?upload=1But... if you upload the same image in different formats, it could be considered spamming. Someone from Adobe told me that, when I asked about uploading EPS files and then the same as a JPG. I'm pretty sure, the EPS can be downloaded as a JPG through the site. My personal opinion is, the best way is, only upload the one as a vector, but if you have a PNG with a transparent background, upload only that? In any case, do not upload all three formats of the same image or you might be blocked. "Spamming is strictly prohibited and may prompt us to block your account or close it permanently." Contrary to what some people here will tell you, Adobe says: "To make money on Adobe Stock, it helps to have a lot of content. Still, you should always choose quality over quantity, and make sure that each file you submit offers something special. Similar content is one of the leading reasons we reject content."
This answer is only for Adobe because that's where you asked it.

Deletion of uploaded files is treated same as file rejection and effects on your stats and sales.
If that is the case with deleting stuck files, then the effect would be negated when re-uploading them back into the queue?
Of course NOT. if you upload 1000 images your upload counter will state that you have 1000 uploads. And if you delete 100 and then upload those 100 again, your counter will state that you have 1100 uploads and 100 deleted / rejected images. It is a basic math.
I don't necessarily want to say that your statement is not true. But I find it somehow illogical. Do you have a link where I can read your information? I'm not even sure whether rejected images affect the ranking. My personal experience in this regard is different.
I'm having difficulty finding my acceptance ratio. Is that listed for my account? If the idea that uploads vs accepted, totally ignored uploads that were deleted, maybe? As far as what Adobe has told us in the two webinars and other places, images are ranked by their activity during the images first 30 days. No where does anything tell us that accounts or artists are ranked. Position is flexible and always changing, relative to everyone else's position. It's not rank or fixed. It's a floating position. If I get a sudden burst of DLs, I'll move up. If I have a dead period, I'll go down, as long as others had more DLs during the same week. There's nothing to say that uploads and accepted or total numbers have anything to do with position.
