I'm a big fan of Germany, most beautiful towns I've ever seen and I traveled quite a bit. Germans are probably the most productive people in the world. Wherever they go, they make the best out of the situation (Early US, South Brazil, Romania before WWII). We will gladly take them, except the cultural marxists. Immigration is great when it comes to civilized, hard-working people who are self reliant. We don't need illegals shopping for the best welfare deals. The Guardian just called, they want Zero Talent in their team. Work starts tomorrow.

This is a very low level discussion. I haven't learned anything in the last 5 pages, other than photographers have very little understanding in history, economy and politics. Therefore it was a big waste of time for me. When I read independent news outlets like ZeroHedge, the general level of understanding is much higher, people also disagree but you can learn quite a lot - that's the difference.
MSG is great when it comes to micro agencies and photography, and that's about it.

I think we shouldn't discuss topics unrelated to micro at all. It just creates conflict and weaken our position as contributors. There are many political blogs where you will find people who share the same views, it's more productive and less stressful for all. I will start by myself, hope you guys join in.

So between $155 and $80 is when I they made a change. At about $78 I emailed them and that's when they told me they made a search change to make it fair for everyone and that they had to distribute the sales more fairly. This is not a case of crowd sourcing per se, it is an intentional change to give others sales who may or may not deserve it, may or may not have put in the blood, sweat & tears to develop a 4,000 asset portfolio, whatever. Bottom line, this is the new norm.
That's correct. I stopped uploading to them long ago and only have 400 files there. But in recent months I have seen increase in revenue (2x what it used to be). With DT socialism, the less images you have, the higher the RPI. It's counter-productive.

Don't put words in my mouth. People from certain countries statistically commit more crimes than european average, it's a fact even if you don't like it. Notice how Saudi Arabia wants to remain arab, Japan wants to remain japanese, China wants to remain chinese and african nations want to remain african. That's perfectly understandable and it does not make them extremists in any way. Why europeans are not allowed to have a country of their own? Images for Prime are being reviewed
Images that aren't in prime collection are still avaliable at core collection and therefore avaliable for sale. So this "they rejected my best selling images" is just bull-crap. They weren't rejected, they just weren't accepted at prime. Notice the difference?
All images are reviewed, you only get email when an image is rejected. Get your facts straight.

I have 1 exclusive image at FT that was rejected by SS.
It became my #3 bestseller there and I get much more per credit sale (not subs).
If most of my sales are subs sales , is it worth to become an exclusive?
I think SS+FT will bring more $, but if rejected by SS I would put in FT as exclusive image. By the way, US taxes are still the same and I believe the buyer has to pay more.

Image collection expanded 49%
Taking 100 as our exposure value for last year, we now have 81
To mantain our revenue, we had to increase our portfolio by ~23%
Of course, most new images are similar illustrations that never get sold.
So I would estimate about 15% increase in port to break even. Not so bad.
