Check out their site. Dreamstime informs that ..."Dreamstime ....  will donate 5% of our revenue," meaning they don't take it from us. So it is THEIR share, THEIR choice.

I am really not sure if that's true. There's a couple, but I am always surprised by how often people who post here regularly and I assumed did this for a living (or even have blogs and channels devoted to the industry) say things like "I had an EL on SS so that made a big difference/ doubled my income for the month".

There's a lot of people who post enthusiastically because this is a hobby they are passionate about, rather than because they are big earners or pros. Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all but it can be misleading.

same with people not meeting the second level threshold at Alamy, which i would have expected would be a minimum for someone who took time to upload there for years. Even with 20% drop in gross fees, that still means they were making less than $150 a year before.  again nothing wrong,

if anything i find they have actually made it harder to select that option (or i am now missing a new process)

By collapsing the checkboxes for channels I find I many times forget to add it since I would not have it automatically, and they seem to have removed user input management of channels after approval

That's my answer too. Just downsize and move on. Giving away 50MP images for a dime is not going to make more than giving away 10MP images for a dime. And if the 10MP images come from that 50MP camera (what the heck is that?) and you are downsizing, you'll have almost no rejections for focus, pixelation, grain, soft or any of the other absurd rejections from the SS Bots.

in addition to less time creating file, faster upload, less storage, less resubmission.

ps Download by keywords show nothing. I have no idea? I have 35 images with the keyword "Sunset" I think 20 are legitimately, mostly a Sunset image, while others are taken at Sunset.

I'm not complaining, I'm just amazed that they got any downloads at all, but the total in catalog manager is 12 DLs.
