Mat please pay attention to the comments in this thread.

Also, it's a pain in the ass that you need to scroll down (for example until the keywords in the position 30+) to "up" some "relevant" keywords and it makes you go all the way up!!! and you have to scroll down again to "up" another keyword, and so on. I don't know if you understand what I said, but the pain is real

+1, we don't need a pop-up box that comes up when we click on edit keywords, a simple text box (like the one for title) is enough.

This exists. Click the "paste keywords" link and you will be able to add keywords in one large box.

General Stock Discussion / Re: adobestock keywords?
« on: February 11, 2019, 14:57 »
hi Mat - okay,

If I update my keywords using a .csv file for already approved files, will it then update my list? (As opposed to me manually having to go image by image, etc?)

Thanks!

I don't believe that will work but you can certainly give it a try. I think you need to update them individually however. Let us know if you find success.

"Key features on Fotolia are now limited. You have already synced your account and are all set."
I get this but when I try to log in at adobe it takes me to a sync screen and tells me the account is already in use. Any ideas?

This is an indication you are trying to sign in with the wrong Adobe ID. Sign out of the page and sign back in with the email address you used to sync with originally.

I strongly recommend you list your keywords in order of relevance.

As some of you noticed there is now a direct link on the dashboard page to "view my statistics" that will bypass the contributor of the week landing page you find by clicking the Insights tab. As I understand it, the Insights page was designed to be more than just statistics and it's likely more will be added to that page as time goes on.

Hey, the stats page defaults to "top sellers".  That's not going to change a lot.  It should default to "activity" so you can see the activity (sales).  Or when I change it, it should hold the choice.  Thx.

The site will soon set the default to whichever stat you last checked when visiting the portal. I don't have a date but don't expect it to be too far into the distant future.

Hi All,

As some of you noticed there is now a direct link on the dashboard page to "view my statistics" that will bypass the contributor of the week landing page you find by clicking the Insights tab. As I understand it, the Insights page was designed to be more than just statistics and it's likely more will be added to that page as time goes on.

I don't know exactly when the site will remember the stat you last checked and leave that as your default however as mentioned previously, this will happen.

Another recent change that has been mentioned in MSG is the contributor position now found near the top of the dashboard page. This was a top request from many of you and was communicated as important information available only at Fotolia. You can use the drop down menu to see where you land in comparison to the entire contributor community for lifetime and weekly earnings.

I recognize the many people asking for views as they were on Fotolia. Just a reminder...those numbers you saw were only for views that happened at the Fotolia site. The data was incomplete and in my opinion not helpful as the majority of activity for some time now has been at Adobe Stock. This is a top-of-mind feature request and is not forgotten. I do not know if/when it will be added to Adobe Stock.

The other top feature request has been the ability to search within your portfolio on the dashboard page. I don't have an update on that either unfortunately. Just wanted to let you know I'm very aware of the need for this feature and am continuing to bring it up on a very regular basis.

I have noted all other feature requests in this thread and many/most are very important. I will most definitely keep you updated as news comes in.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Adobe/Fotolia modify prices where?
« on: February 07, 2019, 19:08 »
Mat Hayward can give you a definitive answer, but I believe that there is no option for contributor-set prices any more. All Adobe Stock pricing is uniform - there are the large customer custom deals, but they're set at the customer level, not by a contributor. Fotolia rank has no parallel at Adobe Stock either, only affecting sales on Fotolia for the remainder of the time it's operating.

If you wanted Fotolia-only prices to change between now and November 5th, Mat's probably also the person to ask as a contributor support person would have to do that for you.

Jo Ann is right on all points here. You can submit a request via the contact us link in the Adobe Stock Contributor portal to due a bulk change to Fotolia prices until Fotolia closes completely on November 5.

Hey everyone...check out the top of the Dashboard page in the portal. There was an update today I think you will like.

If  MatHayward is reading this, the FT rank was a great reference, unique for the industry.

I am disappointed to see it gone.

It was a good indicator, allowing better understanding of the contributor's position relative to the agency's performance.
I knew I don't have to worry when my sales were lower, but my rank stayed the same or improved. Or I knew that I was doing better than the rest, that week, when my weekly rank improved.
         `
Mat, bring it back, please!

Yes, of course I'm reading this. All (well.....most :)  )of your comments are very helpful and much appreciated. I am sharing this feedback every opportunity I get. As a contributor myself I know there is a long way to go before the portal is perfect but I can assure you we will continue to work to make it better for contributors. It did take me a while to switch from the Fotolia interface to Adobe so I fully understand the pain points you are illustrating here. I promise I will continue to keep you in the loop as the portal evolves. Please keep your feedback coming, it is being read and does have an influence in the engineering priorities with portal updates and upgrades.

With the Adobe interface, how does one change the order of the keywords after acceptance?
I know how to do it with the Fotolia interface, but can't see how to do it with the Adobe interface.

While in the dashboard section of the portal, select the image you want to update. Scroll down the page and you will see an image preview with the keywords adjacent. Hover your mouse over the keywords and the edit (pencil) icon will appear. Click it and the keyword update interface will appear.

Thanks everyone for the feedback you have provided. We have been discussing ways to make the portal more intuitive and as easy as possible to navigate and to get the information you want.

A top feature for years has been for the aggregate total of earnings for individual assets. With the new feature added we have provided that information but understand that as a result it created an extra navigation burden to you.

I want to keep you in the loop on what we are working on right now. In the not-too-distant future, when you navigate to the insights page and select a drop down option you will not have to click the "display statistics" button. The new data will automatically populate when you select the option you want. The display statistics button will remain a click requirement when you change the date range.

In addition, the system will remember what you last viewed and will set that as your default each time you visit the insights page. If you are looking at the current activity when you close out the page, the activity stats will be the default the next time you visit.

I don't have an exact timeline for you but I can assure you this is a priority. I'll keep you updated as I learn more.

MicrostockSubmitter / Re: Upload editorial image to Adobe Stock
« on: January 23, 2019, 16:02 »
Hi, is there any way to upload editorial image ti Adobe Stock using Stocksubmitter?

It would be great to have chechbox in agency settings whether upload editorial or not. I set up own FTP connection to Canva which doesn't support editorial images and now I have to pick them manually.

Thanks for help.

All of our current editorial content is sourced through outside agencies. We aren't accepting editorial submissions from individual contributors at this time.

Adobe Stock / Re: Problem with Dashboard Changes
« on: January 23, 2019, 00:36 »
Adobe Stock recently changed the contributor dashboard in such a way that I can't see what images are selling on any given day. The only information I can find for daily downloads is the number of downloads for each day, but there is no way of finding out WHICH images sold on any particular day. This leaves me with no way of seeing what images are trending, I feel like I'm reduced to groping around in the dark. Has anyone found a way to get this info? I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this.

Click the drop down menu and select "activity" to see your sales data.

On the new adobe upload page, you are asked about 'recognisable property'. If you say 'yes', you are prompted to choose or upload a release, so what are you supposed to do with recognisable property that doesn't require a release?

It doesn't feel right to say 'no' to the question when there clearly is some recognisable property in the image.

I have been sticking with the FT upload portal for exactly this reason - wasn't sure what to do about public buildings or other property that doesn't require a release.  There has not been a change in the review criteria when uploaded through FT so I assume we are to interpret "recognizable" as "recognizable that requires a release" unless they tell us otherwise.

Yes, this is correct. Only click yes if the recognizable property requires a release.

-Mat

So if we have a private house in the distance, but we took the image from a public position, we can simply click no to recognisable property?

The location you took an image from is irrelevant. The content of the image is what counts when determining if you need a release. For details on our legal guidelines including property release requirements please visit our learn and support pages linked here: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/user-guide.html?topic=/stock/contributor/morehelp/legal-guidelines.ug.js

Kind regards,

Mat Hayward

We have made a big change in the insights page of the Adobe Stock Contributor Portal. You can now see the total earnings per image for any specified date range. The top sellers will show up by default. Change the date range to see how much individual images have earned for you during that time.

To see the current sales and commissions as you are used to seeing them simply click "activity" in the drop down menu of options. We hope you like this change. More to come!

Matt, as the promotion closed on december, should I still waiting for promo code or all codes has been sended?
I ask because I've received month ago the photo plan code but I think I qualify also for video in october.
If I understand well there was chance to have both

As far as I know all codes have been emailed already. Yes, you could have qualified for the full CC with video after having received a code for CCP previously. If you think you had qualified but never received the code, please submit a ticket via the contact us link found at the bottom of the Adobe Stock Contributor Portal.

Is it possible to add the whole Fotolia/Adobe portfolio on Adobe Portfolio personal website ?

You should be able to if you add every image to a collection. There isn't a way to do it as a bulk move right now that I'm aware of though it's a good idea.

Adobe Stock / Re: Extended Licenses?
« on: January 09, 2019, 10:30 »
I just got a video sale where I netted $172.41.  I never had a commission that high on AS.  Usually they're more in the $28-$70 range.

Did Adobe Stock start pushing some sort of extended licensing for videos, or have they always sold these and this is just my first one?

Either way, I'm happy.

That is likely a custom license for an Enterprise customer.

Hey Mat, any updates on Weekly Rankings and Search within our portfolios? Finding an image in the portfolio is pretty much impossible right now.

I have no updates on these feature requests to provide at this time. Thanks for keeping them top of mind.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Adobe Stock graphs not working
« on: January 08, 2019, 19:25 »
Hi all.
I have noticed that the stats graph is not working properly. Its not updating since Dec 31st. and no blue bars at all.
Anyone else having the same issues?
Thanks

This is a known issue that started on January 1. It is expected to be resolved within this week. Your commissions are still being applied to your account in real time, it's a display bug within the statistics. We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

If you do not have an Adobe ID then click "Get Started" to set one up and sync. If you have an existing Adobe ID then click "I already have an Adobe ID" to sync it with Fotolia.
