2. This young woman introduced herself and wrote her first and last name and attached a photo.

A little tip: If you accidentally write to your dating app support, you may not receive a reply from Adobe. Welcome to the real world.

It is better to never write to Adobe support regarding any issues. I once wrote, there was some kind of primitive question. In response, some Russian lady contacted me, who began to scare me with a ban and accuse me of not forming my briefcase correctly and she didnt like what I was uploading. She made some idiotic demands on me. In short, I dont write in Adobe anymore.

If your writing style and behavior is comparable to that in the "This should settle some different opinions" thread, Adobe's reaction is quite understandable. And of course it was a Russian Orc employee, what else  ;D ;D ;D

Of course you can write to Adobe support.

Worrying update here from Alamy.

I asked Alamy whether my token damages over some $25 would bring the matter to a close and their reply:

Quote
"This matter remains ongoing with the case currently in front of the German courts. As mentioned, legal costs are being incurred by Alamy in defending the claims which as a contributor to you provide Alamy with indemnification against such claims under the terms of our contract. In the event of any further developments in relation to your cost liability under this matter we would provide you with an update to advise of any changes."

To be continued...

That is indeed worrying.
As a contributor, you are forced to pay for a court case without having a say in it, where you don't know what it's about, how long it will take and how much it will cost in the end.
Above all, you don't know whether it would have been cheaper to settle the initial claim.

I assume the dispute with Axel Springer is over 5.1(i) - I looked online for information about this lawsuit but didn't find anything. Not sure how an editorial image could infringe a copyright or other IP - did the original email say anything about the details of the dispute?

It's all very strange and ominous.
The court judgement was made here in Germany.
Here, too, I was unable to find a corresponding judgment via legal databases.

5

Is there some other motivation behind Bild going after Alamy, because they are owned by PA News now?

Thanks, Pete. That was my impression as well, though I question how one can determine the exact costs for the defense in advance and know that Michael, for example, now has to pay 11.43 pounds.

Yes, it seems to be something "personal". Other international and German Stock-agencies are apparently allowed to continue using the logo and cover pages in the collection.

6
I understand this bulky text to mean that Alamy wants to defend itself against the injunction.

Depending on how I read the text, the sum mentioned here then relates either to
a) the costs for the preliminary injunction as requested or
b) the costs for the coming defense against the preliminary injunction.

From my point of view, it is completely unclear whether further unknown costs will be incurred by those affected if the action is lost.

Perhaps native English speakers can clarify this.

Wrong. I only defend the truth.
I am 100% behind Ukraine in its struggle to repel the unprovoked russian invasion.

I have donated my own money to Ukrainian causes, and I believe that all democratic countries, including the US, must do more to support Ukraine's attempt to recover its lost territories, including Crimea.

But Ukraine doesn't have to use propaganda to gather this support. It is counterproductive. The truth is enough.

As for these fake quotes, you can always post them as your personal opinion. I can definitely understand the anger, but please don't lie that they belong to those russian writers.

zero, where do you get your patience and above all your objectivity from?  ;)

As you rightly said, this guy is constantly standing here with his pants down, embarrassing himself and doing Ukraine a great disservice.
At no point does he show any understanding or admitted a mistake, when things get tight, he gets insulting or personal.
For over a hundred pages I've only seen asocial behavior here, incapable of having a discussion at eye level.

Because I'm increasingly losing my own netiquette and objectivity in the face of all this nonsense and gutter language, which is in no way expedient, I've put the guy on "ignore" and left the discussion with him personally.

But thank you for your research and comments, which make it worthwhile to keep checking the thread.

This does not change the essence of the fact that the third world war is underway.

As expected, you didn't understand most of my text.

So far you have claimed that the third world war is already here. But now it's not. Interesting.
Incidentally, the assumption that a third world war could be coming is not a fact. It is only a fact when it actually happens.

Your description of 1938 is wrong.
There was no occupation in the true sense of the word.
In order to avoid war, England and France pursued a policy of appeasement, culminating in the Munich Agreement of September 29, 1938, which sealed the cession of the Sudetenland to Germany. This is precisely why historians do not regard this date as the beginning of the Second World War but the attack on Poland 1939. Because the latter corresponds to the definition of war in international law.

Also interesting that you imagine you know what I do for a living. I don't work in a hospital, I didn't just study medicine and I work as a court expert, among other things. Yes, I can read legal texts.

And leave out the stupid smileys. It just makes your misinterpretations even more ridiculous.

But I can say for sure that these psychological problems are preventing you from answering my simple question that I am asking.

Honestly, the question is just too stupid for me! Wouldn't you feel like a fool if I asked you what year the Russians invaded Ukraine or whether you know who the current Ukrainian president is?

Only a person who does not know history and does not know when the Second World War began can say this.
Thats why I want to hear from you the year the Second World War began.

You see, I knew that your question was a decoy to present your own opinion here.
So I don't know when either the Second or the Third World War started.
I wrote a few days ago that you look like a person who doesnt know history. That's why I asked you one question. But judging by the lack of response from you, you really dont know history well.
In any case, you now know what knowledge gaps you need to fill.  ;D ;D ;D

All discussions here fail due to your arrogant delusions of grandeur - but above all due to a lack of basic knowledge.

You obviously don't understand the difference between "crisis", "armed conflict" and "war". According to the definition of international law, there is no basis whatsoever to speak of a third world war, in particular the "animus belligerandi" is missing here.

Of course, you can redefine each of these terms for yourself. However, this makes any communication to the outside world impossible, as the last 100 pages here impressively demonstrate.

So it is a fact, without any discussion, that the the Second World War began on September 1, 1939, when Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, invaded Poland. This invasion prompted Britain and France to declare war on Germany on September 3, 1939, marking the beginning of the global conflict.

Signs or Omen of a possible war, which ultimately can only ever be retroactively proven as such, are by definition not a state of war.

Obviously you are to stupid for the question.

4. What is happening is called World War III.

Another one of your damned lies designed to stir up fear.
Only YOU and some sick conspiracy theorists are calling the current state third world war.

Among educated normal thinking intelligent people this is not common sense.

This is all you need to know about Scholz (colleague of KGB agent Merkel). All in one picture.
 ;D ;D ;D
The KGB agent and his useful idiot.
Is not a fact.
Yes, any contact with Russian Na.zis is a crime, and I do not justify Trump. But if you look at these two photos from a psychological point of view, Scholz looks like a person who obeys putin, and Trump looks the opposite. Trump stands above putin and pats him on the shoulder from top to bottom. Putin looks like a man who is afraid of Trump.
Visual language and Psychology is obviously not your thing either.
Let me help you a little:
Picture with Scholz: compulsory visit, distance, impersonal atmosphere

Picture with Trump: friendship, old buddies
In Scholz I see an obedient subordinate of putin. Scholz sits and listens to the orders that putin gives him to carry out.

Of course you see it that way.
But that has nothing to do with your psychological abilities, but with your psychological deficits.

Shutterstock.com / Re: Contributor Fund Entry
« on: March 27, 2024, 17:19 »
Received $60.97 for the Contributor fund today.

I'm not complaining about the extra money, but my choice actually looked like this since about a year now  ::):

If the system works as I understand how it should work... you should have gotten nothing?
So this means either the checkbox is doing nothing, and your content is used for AI training, or they have a serious issue in contributor fund distribution.
Or maybe the checkbox only works for content uploaded after you changed the setting. (because before there was no choice)

None of the above is good, there should be transparancy.

First of all, I'm glad that I don't have to live off this crap  ;)

Yes, it's not just maximum instraparent.
But Shutterstock has probably decided to stop communicating with us altogether. As you can see from the new review times of 7 - 10 days. No Explanation.

I would also assume that the images will continue to be used before the checkbox is clicked.
At least that corresponds to the amount I have already received last year.

I rejected the "data licensing" primarily because rejected images were included in the "data catalog" and could therefore no longer be resubmitted (because they had already been accepted) and were therefore completely lost for sale on Shutterstock.

But that didn't change anything. Rejected images are now labeled as "Eligible for data licensing" and cannot be resubmitted either because they have supposedly already been accepted.

I hope that I have been able to make this more or less clear.

I think the EU countries are interested in panic in Ukraine and want to keep for yourself more Ukrainians.
As for France, people there dont know English and dont want to learn it. The French are also very arrogant. Probably those who know French go there. In Ukraine, French is not popular in schools.

Interesting how you judge other countries, in this case France, from your basement window. Once again you are using primitive, unsubstantiated prejudices.

Incidentally, French people don't necessarily have to learn English because they get on very well with the language in France. And in many other beautiful countries with friendly people:

Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, Morocco, Madagascar, many African and Caribbean countries.

The fact that You don't speak the language doesn't make French arrogant.

I was also in the red this month.

Let me ask you a stupid question.

Why do we actually have to pay if a customer buys pictures here illegally and against the rules?
In my world, the customer has to pay for the damage.

I think it's bad when Russian civilians are killed in a barbaric attack.

The war in Ukraine has nothing to do with it.

Every life is precious, I despise anyone who is happy about that. Only scum can be happy about something like that.

dont be naive :)  but, great cgi trailer
Are you talking about Macron?  ;D
He will soon put on a bicorne hat himself and start posing. Judging by his rhetoric.
But this is normal, the main thing is that his words are confirmed by his actions.
Are they, though?

How come France comes in at place fourteen in the list of bilateral support (military and financial) then? Right between Finland and the Czech Republic.

https://www.ifw-kiel.de/topics/war-against-ukraine/ukraine-support-tracker/

But Macrons desire to send troops to Ukraine is a very good desire. These troops are not necessarily needed on the front line; there are many other areas where they will replace the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which will allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces troops to be transferred to the front line.

Wouldn't it be great if, first of all, those who demand support from outside would themselves support their own people?
You could do something yourself instead of making demands on others. Go out and support your people. Go help where help is needed and relieve your fellow human beings!

Yes Wilm, exactly my thought too. This guy insults all supporters of Ukraine as cowards, parasites and teaches them how things should be done.

If he was really that concerned, he would be on the front line supporting Ukraine. If he wasn't physically able to do that, you can also control drones. Without question, there are possibilities.

The biggest coward and parasite is Stoker.

« on: March 20, 2024, 16:49 »
Yes, for me too.

Images submitted on Friday.
Today, unusually after 5 days, the review of my editorial images:
Entire batch of different images rejected due to allegedly AI-generated images or illustration designations. Both of which are wrong.

Commercial images are still on hold. Something seems to be going very wrong at the moment.

Thanks for the info, this seems to be a general problem.

Certainly off-topic for one person here, the others will understand why discussions here no longer make sense:

Some of the most common traits and signs of narcissistic personality disorder may include:

- An extremely inflated sense of self-importance, and self-absorption
- A sense of entitlement and grandiosity
- A strong need for excessive and constant attention and admiration
- Feelings of superiority even without any significant achievement
- A lack of empathy
- Considering others as inferior
- Feelings of victimization
- An aggressive reaction to being ignored or mistreated
- A fragile self-esteem and low self-confidence
- An exaggeration of talents and accomplishments
- Feelings of jealousy
- A strong belief in being envied by others exceptionally charming and charismatic when its beneficial (3000 unvisible followers  ;))
- Undermining other achievements
- Reacting negatively and aggressively to criticism

30%+25% = 55% for putin.

There is no trust in these Russian polls.
All Russians are supporters of the empire and rashists.

But 55% is not 90%. (whereby the 55% is once again the product of your sick imagination)

You're not only a bad liar, you're also a methematic dunce.
