I've been waiting for over a month for them to approve my ID. They won't sell anything of mine until then. Very frustrating.

Try opening a support ticket.  I waited over a month as well and when I contacted support they replied and approved my id on the same day.

So, to get your ID ONLY approved you wait over a month + you got to wake them up with a support ticket!  :o

Likewise, review times don't bother me - Pond5 isn't the place to sell dated editorial footage and besides it usually takes at least 6 months for new footage to start selling, more often longer.

Good to see Pond5 now firmly in the Top Tier - Big 4 in the poll results. Plenty of people making good money there and all these folks bailing because they can't wait, well that's good for the rest of us in the long run  :D

Nobody who wish well to the company should say that long reviews of clips and ID checks are OK.

p.s. Great footage, btw!

Maybe I should clarify, by review times I mean footage review times. I can't speak for the ID situation since I'm not affected but I sympathise with those whose portfolios have been suspended etc.

I'm not a "Pond5 promoter" since the bulk of my income is derived from direct sales and I'd much rather people licensed directly from me - but even if I was my point still stands. Stock is a long haul game and decent clips can and will make money for many years so I don't understand the big hurrah over the long queue right now. Heck, this week I sold a clip I shot almost 10 years ago.

Ok, if you don't promote P5, then P5 promotes you, so therefore you get some benefits out of it all and therefore your opinion on P5 affairs is rather biased.

You should really show more empathy for the rest of the gang here, imho. You even cheered the current situation that is bringing less competition out there=more money for you, which I found rather obnoxious.

How about calling your promoters up and asking them what's going on and then come back to tell us all? You obviously know people inside?

Just saying....

Just over 2.5 months my last batch. The only good thing is that they review everything you have in the queue at once... so although I had some clips that had been in the queue for 2.5 months, I also had stuff in the queue that had only been there for a few days. Would prefer a consistent one or two weeks though.

Unfortunatelly they have different queues for footage and images. I had my photo queue reviewed today, but my videos are still waiting...  :(

While you still waiting to get approved, maybe you should apply to help them out?

But wait, there is no need for content reviewers!   >:(
