how does this pay?

There must be some contributors around in this forum, who are succussful in their microstock business, who are winners, inspite of all the present problems, which we all know in million of details. I want to get inspired, and I want to learn from the peak performers. Are they in this forum at all?

I am tired to read through all the comments from the losers in this business.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you, that I am living in so-called "poor" country. With a thousand bugs a month you are a millionaire. Wheelchairs are rather simple...

I am a happy Contributor and I got two simple reasons for that:

First: My income and wellbeing totally depends on illustrations. Compare it with a physically disabled person who totally depends on his wheelchair to move from one place to another.

Second: I am a creativity junky, I am an addict. If I don´t create something new continually, I feel like being dried out like an alcoholic. I feel bad. I accept the challenge, that I have to compete with a million contributors out there. I must activate all my brain cells to be better, day by day. This is just like with any other business.

Are there more junkies out there?

Keywords: Do I have to revise ALL keywords in order to get accepted? Do I have to cancel all keywords which do not fit?

I guess, there is not only one boat. Microstocker living in poor countries sit in a different boat. Their boat does not sink.

@noodle: Please, don´t call Somalia a "shithole country". In Somalia are living human beings like in your country.

The minimum wage in my country is aroung 100 US Dollar per month. Check some African income figures from the World Bank. Don´t compare sub saharan countries with South Africa.

Up and downs are as normal as anything. I am from Africa, I can tell you about the downs. But now I am happy as a queen. Me and my entire family live on five dollars a day, and microstocks are the very big chance to have a decent living. Life is just great!!!

every image has hundreds of variations....

At Bickstock I get 30 Cent per image, at Alamy 10 Dollar, for one and the same image. If any Alamy buyer finds out, that my images are 30 Cents, he or she will always buy from Bigstock.

@franzi: patterndesign has a premium section as well, do you know what´s all about. Patterndesign told me, that in this section they would sell their own patterns. Now I wonder, how this patterns looks like. Patterndesign does not want me to have a look at these pattern, which is kind of strange...
