I just upload some 62 files yesterday (no MP restriction) but im sending it today (4MP restriction), most vector files are under 4MP, so i want to see if any of these files are rejected due to this issues.
My latest reviewed file now was sended on april 6 and reviewed on april 8, approved file under 4MP, i also upload some files (under 4MP) today to see if the are rejected due to this. Any one have the first rejection due to 4MP issue?? 130

AI and CorelDraw can create a raster file from vector one and made anykind of resize during the transformation without afecting the current size of vector design, but maybe this is a procesing issue; i dont do a deep research to see if AI or CorelDraw vector to raster algorithm really takes longer to transform from small vector to huge raster than huge vector to same size huge raster; if it takes longer this will be a problem for them because of the huge amount of vecors contributors are uploading... 131

Zsooofija, thank you so much for your reply. Just an extra question (clarification), when you upload the .jpg with metadata, you can see the file in the "sending image/dashboard" interface with the title and keywords filled, or it is automatically sended inmediatly you upload it?? 132
Shutterstock.com / Re: New dimension for EPS files (4 megapixels)« on: April 05, 2019, 20:17 »Converting eps files to nice looking jpegs isn't always an easy process. I'm not sure why they want the responsibility. They have apparently created a inefficient vector to raster algorithm that has the prerequisite that the vector design has a minimum size; by using AI or CorelDraw, when you import vector design to raster you are always able to increase the final size of the raster file without doing any change in the vecor design what is logical understanding how vector graphics works. 133

Hot topic on SS now is the new dimensions for EPS files, and reading the SS Forum post I see that some people is claming about the metadata on jpg files is not possible anymore with those new changes, so my question is:
IT WAS POSSIBLE TO PUT METADATA ON .JPG FILES AND THEN UPLOAD TO THE SITE?? ![]() ![]() ![]() That's so new for me! Of course this will be no possbile anymore but i want to know how it works, you put the metadata on .jpg file and then the file automatically is sended to the system at the moment you upload it?? (As SS suports comment on forum this will be posbile by using CSV files) 135

I can use a full resolution picture as background of a wordpress template?? Thank you for your reply Jo Ann I'm actually not thinking about develop website/wordpress templates, just creating my blog, using some template and use some images as background of the website. I think that enhanced license is only in the case I'm selling a template that includes this particular image because in this case, the image is part of the final product and will be sold several times. Anyway, this is an excellent question to do to SS support before starting my project, mainly because if I need to pay 199$ for two images, I think it is better for me to spend some money in a good camera and start to take my own pictures for this project. 137

Shutterstock.com / Two questions about buying images in SS« on: January 14, 2019, 19:08 »
For long time, I was a contributor, and I will keep uploading my images as I get some significant incoming for it, but today I'm also working on some blog project, and I'm thinking now about buying some images at SS.
I have two questions related to it, first one is related to the website usage of images. I can use a full resolution picture as background of a wordpress template?? My second question is if the monthly subscription to SS: 750 images per month: 249$ per month (0.33 per image) are just one-month payment, or I must keep paying every month? I'm a little confused about that because there is also an annual plan that is slightly cheap. Thanks in advance for your replies. 139

Maybe I am the only one but I feel like the old 15mb was not fit for our times, I found it too limiting since the day it was introduced really. Im not being sarcastic, i can finally open my old folder called "Discarded Due To Memory" and upload all the content i previously cannot upload due to size issues 140

Totally, i just remember some art works that i just was unable to reduce to goal size, spending whole day on it and finally discarding. This is also amazing for time optimization so you can use fast methods to reach the effect you are looking for (fast methods that generate a bigger file) and finish more works in less time. I'm so exited because of this, i think i will not sleep this night!! 141

With an increased limit of 50 megabytes for EPS files, its easier than ever to upload your vectors
Old limit was 15mb!! This is so exciting as old limit really limited much the kind of work you was able to upload!! 142

General Stock Discussion / FTP Zilla question and issue...« on: November 05, 2018, 19:42 »
As usual im using FTP Zilla to upload images to ShutterStock.
Usually the amount of images i upload is short enough to process the queue in just "one upload", but currently due to low internet connection and largest amount of vector images being upload (vector images than actually needs two files to upload one image) i need to stop processing queue sometimes in order to being able to use internet for other proposes. I thought that this did not generate any problem in the upload process, but actually it does. I start to have some images refuses due to "File Transfer Error" issue, so i discover that when you are processing a queue of files in filezilla and you stop the process (stop processing the queue), the files was incompletely uploaded; thats means that if you stop processing a file when the file upload is 50% complete, half of the file is uploaded to shutterstock and deleted form queue, what results in a corrupt file on the server (SS). My question is, is there any way to configurate FileZilla to: 1 - When you press "Stop Processing Queue" finish to process the files that are currently being upload before stop process OR 2 - Dont remove files form queue and delete the incomplete uploaded files from server Thank you for your help PS. This is a question for Filezilla web site forum, but when i try to register in this forum they dont allow me becuse my email account is on Gmail and the forum show me a message that due to recent spam attack on forum using massive gmail account they dont allow anymore users to register using gmail account... then i create a yahoo mail account to being able to register in FZ forum and i get i new message that says that yahoo is the main email service using to send spam so register a new user with yahoo account is not allowed... so before creating hundreds of email accounts with different services to discover which one is allowed i prefer to ask here. 148

Well, the cap theory is a feasible scenario of which there is no evidence for or against. But just thinking about that bothers many contributors and whenever they talk about it on the forum, most of the comments are hateful and violent.
