This is a very niche industry. So, I don't think there's any expo for stock media. However, stock agencies show up at photo/video related industry expo like NAB in Vegas in April. Good excuse to go to Vegas.

What's wrong with sharing good site with fellow contributors so that we can all make more money? I don't understand some people's reaction. VB is still better than Dissolve. If you don't like VB, close your account and go back to Dissolve which doesn't respect contributors much.

really frustrating!
Last year i got like 3- 5 sales a month and this year i sold 1 clip + 1 refund.
And at the same time.
Adobe, Shutterstock and Pond5 increasing almost every month.
Feels like my port is invisible.
Could it be that i'm penalized in some way?
Earlier this year i had problems with my connection.
That caused 4000 few second clips.
They all show now on the rejected count....
I hear you. Their growth is stagnating somehow now.

Basically, it's the same level as 2 years ago while P5 and Shutterstock sales grow like 15% every year as I keep adding new contents. It's kinda disappointing.

That's good because Pond5 pays more than Shutterstock. It's time for Shutterstock to pay us more, like at least 40%. Pond5 has all kinds of licenses now which they didn't before. Maybe big corporate clients are shifting to Pond5 now. Fotolia/Adobe Stock video sales aren't growing as I expected. It kind of stopped growing. VideoBlocks sales aren't impressive either these days.

You got to treat your stock video/photo business like a brand. Don't sell it cheap. Keep the price at certain level. Don't let stock sites treat you like a servant. You own your business and control how much you get from it per clip. On that basis, iStock and Dissolve don't qualify for a privilege to sell my products. We should let them go out of business.

Sales constantly dropping... no matter how much footage you upload. In July there were only 4 sales. Thinking about dropping too.

OK, everybody left Dissolve already like me. That's a good thing. Not a good place for contributors.
