When I zoom in at 1:1 in lightroom I can see and understand it all.
It is in spanish, but it is a iStock spanish version of the release

I have, until now, been submitting non-people or editorial images.
I submitted my first release to shutter stock and received a:
"Model release is illegible" rejection.
How do I submit releases so they can be read? For my file I took an image of the release teaked it a bit in lightroom and just submitted the jpeg. What else can I do... take close ups of the signatures?

Thanks I appreciate the links I think the days of just having pages of links are fast fading from what I understand ( again please correct me if I am wrong). Putting a response to my blog on my site linked back to your site has a "larger" value then a straight link. If you mention my post ( with a link) in a post you make on your site, or on another site we both get credit ( I think this is called something like google juice) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_juiceGlenn

i'll have to look into it one day, when I feel like banging my head against something - i dislike making websites.
The thing about the Symbiostock idea is that is is relatively quick and easy... Leo has done all the hard work for you. An experienced web/ wordpress person may take 1 hour to set it up.... a novice maybe a few days... but the thing is your site doesn't have to look good since the search from other sites will ( hopefully) be what brings the buyers. Sorry for the thread hi-jack

Hi all, last question before I turn in
When I post a link to my site on Facebook, it reads the old meta tags, its still the old WP title and Hello World description. Also no thumb showing up.
How long does it take for Google to pick up the correct meta data of the website? Or do I need to change some meta tags somewhere?

Two different questions here.... Facebook does not read through google, so there are tags and things you need to change. Google does take a few weeks, but if you use webtools ( as suggested) it is quicker.

My ( very limited) understanding is that google "rewards" sites that have verified authors on google+
I think this will be useful if you plan on using blogs etc., to drive traffic to your site, and then onto your store.
If you just plan a stock store...maybe not useful, but no harm. If you are having an interactive site ( blog etc., ) as well as the store then worth the effort.
If anyone knows more or has a better understanding PLEASE correct me.

Anyone know if there a way in webtools or google analytics to track the traffic to and from the Symbiostock network?
Any way to track search words that are both filled and not filled on the Network?

If a widget is not showing up on a page, it may be that the page you have chosen doesn't allow widgets....
As an example there are several different "home page" templates, but only 2 ( I think) will show widgets in the desired location.

Part of the power of Wordpress, and in the future Symbiostock is the use of plugins to add to functionality of sites.
I want this thread to just be a list of plugins you use and like. That's it. Discussions and tech support in other threads.
If you use or like the Plug..vote it up. If you don't like it or it conflicts, vote it down.

In todays internet culture, slow is bad.
A random site display based on speed ( and other factors) seems best to me, but being able to adjust what my site displays is the coolest idea.
How about a way for me to weight sites... my favourites... most popular... which ones send me traffic....
Anyway to open up search parameters for us dweebs who don't know how to poke around under the hood?

6 months into submitting, and this is my BME... ( as it should be if I am doing what I should)
Slow and steady growth in acceptance and sales at SS
Sales at IS are very small... almost none, but the IS PP is my second best seller. With the change in submissions at IS the number on-line is increasing and ( very surprisingly) my acceptance ratio is climbing as well.
Other sites, I think why bother?

I installed social connect but you need a facebook API to get the facebook button, how did you do it?

I already had a Facebook API for use on several other projects... sorry I can't remember the steps involved but I don't remember it being difficult. Glenn

I use the social connect plug in http://wordpress.org/plugins/social-connect/Yes I know that the wordpress it want is wordpress.org but a lot of bloggers use that site. I don't like using Facebook etc to log into accounts, but a lot of people do...and if it helps with sales. Glenn

I kinda agree with both sides of this, requiring registration and registration being a PITA and may drive away sales. What I have done is set-up and allow facebook and wordpress.org sign-in using a plug-in. I have not checked how well this plug-in works in 2.x.x if anyone want to test it for me.... stockimages.glennspecht.com/wp/ Glenn
