No name producer. Hey Bill did you see film hero? .. I sure did... go ahead and get the 6 month sub at $179.00 and download all the clips he has... sure thing boss we gotta love guys like him who doesn't know the value of their work! Hey boss we don't need all those...take them anyway who knows what we will need in the future and be sure to cancel the subscription when you are done! We can check back in a few years to see if we want to do this again.
If you want to make your own site then do so! at least charge $49.00 per clip which for your quality will still bring you a lot more money then your sub. program! Also most buyers need more options so the subscription will not have a lot of value in a couple of months.
but even ask 19 dollar for 1080 and 39 for 4k...is much lower than pond5 but higher probably than what they earn in crediti in pond5. as i said this is a move to earn as much as possible in short time...for me it's a bad sign from a video top notch producer who is practically telling the market that even video cow has finished the milk...

pagine how many will steal those files and sell them in other agency? something happening to photos will soon happen to video....29 dollar super fast fixes band an in 2 months anybody can download all library and offer with some cut and zoom in.not only lower the bar of competition but not even the smarter move, for me you need fast cash that's the only explanation.

Hello,
I'll come out from under my rock if you promise not to pelt me with Rice Crispie.
Yes I'm responsible. I started FilmHERO.com 2 years ago. It started as an idea with my partner in crime Helen Fields. We wanted to become more independent. The idea grew and evolved from there as the industry changed over that time. I'm not an agency that's supporting other artists. We run an expensive business, as you all know, video is not cheap to produce and it's become unsustainable.
The cut that all agencies take from us leaves us too little to secure our futures. We had to move into a different model with better control over our assets, that would be more effective going into the future. We're not the first. Others are already doing it - take a look at Storyblocks. Nothing we do is designed to impact anyone else, but this was the only business model that showed ongoing promise rather than slow decline, and believe me, we spent years studying it. Subscription is coming - the larger agencies are already discussing it - and when that happens the cut we get is likely to drop dramatically. So we invested . in ourselves, in our own site. We spent years working 12 hour days, saving money, busting ourselves to provide for our family. Us sitting around moaning about the decline of the industry wasn't an option. We're happy to answer any (polite) questions. Thank you
David Baumber
the situation is dramatic that's the only truth i read from your words. fee facto giving away your great content hoping to make some money because even video soon will be worst than photo. nfrotunately this is the truth fro everybody who want to live out of this. no matter the quality of content produced, as you are simply proving that even top notch are struggling. sure this can be stil for years good holy and side line earning but to live out of this you need more than a miracle. live i mean earning more than 100k years as independent and more as house of production.

This is a race to the bottom - of contributor share percentage.
They have seen that the others get away with 30% and people still happily send their stuff in, so they think "what the heck, why not go to 40%, then in a while, 30%".
This means a MAJOR upswing in earnings for them. 20% up on April 8th in one easy move. That is an ENORMOUS increase in earnings for a company. They know people aren't going to leave, just be angry on the forums for a while, and then it all goes back to normal. Well, except for 20% higher earnings for Pond5.
i agree. it's a ended business for 99% of contributor soon in little time..hope many won't based their earning and life on micro and have a family too i won't literally was to be in their pants...sonn they will go 30 225 20 15 and 10...i'm still surprised ss is at 38% but s soon as they will lose royalties be sure they will cut royalty. the only ututure in photography is talent and commission. stock are less profitable than staying outside a shop and asking for a dollar to the customer who enter.
Shutterstock is not at 38%, where did you get that idea?
yes sorry i was doing the % based on subsritpition...anyway fact is that...every agency red is falling down...thats a fact. in a year we will talk about much much lower earning per download i bet y pants. free photos will be the future for most uses, only top notch production and high level creative will make a life ou of commercial photography.

i hope they go bankrupt...lot of possibility of sales out there without those bigh sucker company...the problem is that if they go bankrupt imagine 00 millions file and more coming toward ss and fotolia...o better they stay there selling for penny to contributor...the problem is already there lot of exclusive seeing there rperd falling down and thinking to leave their exclusive status.

maybe because there are zillion of files every where...320000 portraits similar and boring content? 20 dollar with 32000 days is really already a poor performance so i imagine quality s not that great?

the funny part is that stock sales red is still bad but much higher than credit sales from getty...the there is partner portal...what a crap is this....then all the connect crap....this company is a big giant crap holes...my dream is they go bankrupt soon but then all exclusive will come to ss and i don't want think the disaster of another 20 30 millions files flowing....since the closing of think stock everything has fallen down , at least 0,28 are sure...now 1 cent for view in connect...ahaha....everything getty touch is becoming a giant crap...canva is another think stock. stopping any serious upload. i don't cancel only to collect at least something every months. but they won't see another photo from e.

https://contributors.gettyimages.com/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=11071#post122271interesting to see the forum off getty exclusive mostly...rpd for medium to big producer and seller not people who have 20 30 download months,, is falling down for most contributor. the problem in my opinion is that soon most of those exclusive will quit their exclusivity and spread another millions of good images mostly in ss and fotolia. persona

it's a pity because compared to other agency 80 % of the files sold are from the last 2 years and 50 of the last year, but this red is appalling...15% is too low and volume not up t compensate. february look very good in terms f number but again if the red is this, and is this since long time....

0,35 rpd..i think there is nothing to add..even with a 1000 download would be 350 dollar. it rest only ss with solid sales and rpd...the rest is a joke,,, even as fotolia with the last screwing up. this is forcing me only to concentrate on rm and agency like gallery stock and cavanimags. uploading in micro is only a lose of time, sure if you want pay a lens sometimes still not bad.

yes but why they block payment if they deducted negative amount already?...so we have a payment not done, and a negative balance that is already there...so let me see they will keep the payment for long time then your balance is negative so need time to go back positive and able to ask for a new payment...unbielevabel...reall speechless...at least cancel the payment and simply put that money back in the account so i can as a new payment.....this matt come here two words and that's it.....

I checked it again - and here it's completely the same!!!
I had three commission-reductions (28,04 -> 3,50 16 -> 2 26,4 -> 3,3) always exactly 12,5% if its true that the error was that they paid us mistakenly the total sales price first, then we got really 12,5 % for these sales!!!
I did screen shots
yes here too....99 dollar become 13 dollar in the royalty page of the sold images....with a refund for each image of 85 dollar near...totally obscure way.

still payment not in payoneer...still a negative amount n adobe not clarify.....they come here a null explanation, we make an error and that's it...this is how they run business. they are also selling nothing compared to fotolia times.

in addiction payment are on hold but deduction are already active....what a great company.....really sometimes i hope we will be back to communism.......workers contributor are crap...while most of these companies pour money down the trash for ads and testimonials forgetting the importance of us. as i said we deserved all of this for accepting 10 years ago to sell photos for penny...luckily thing s will change soon cause free photos will destroy completely this business

It'll pay off for Adobe Stock the way it pays off for us. This isn't about why, people make mistakes. It's more about how. To write such a lapidary email, to know exactly that you deduct credits from people, just doesn't work. Hardly dubious and somehow a bad joke that reminds me of an air-dried clay brick!
i made the account again and really cannot understand what they are referring to...the sum is less than those big sale together by nearly 20%...the 12 i didn't have any sale...not even a requested payout...for me they have been hankered heavily.....in addiction i can see the sum in fotolia but in adobe nothing. addidng to a situation of practically 3 sales in a week for 0,36 cent since adobe portal took the scene....adobe the new canva?

in addiction...nothing is in payoneer account but i have a big red in fotolia...where is that guy of adobe stock always ready to write about the glory of his company? he should have already wrote something...we deserved this because we accept 10 years ago this crap...l
