Ah I get it  thanks - should have known it would take them 5 days to work out what I had at the end of the month.

I'm confident that as usual I Stock will have thoroughly tested the changes to be introduced  and we can all sleep soundly in the knowledge that the correct payment will reach our accounts bang on time.

Nurse! Time for my medication ;D

In the meantime I thought I had narrowly tripped over the $100 on 5th and no reduction so far but to be honest I'm not certain I try not to fret about these things based on the philosophy it comes right eventually.........

Maybe they think the quality of their images is "high end". Not planning to waste time trying to find out

Easy to upload, reasonable sales and were rising in chart  and up until I guess a year ago reasonable acceptance rate. As I said going down my priorities but better than e.g veer, Zoonar, Yay for me.

The vast majority of my shots are not studio type shots they are much tougher on me than fotolia who can be quite picky but tend not to reject whole batches

Its dissapointing for me as they reject nearly everything I submit yet those that do sneak through sell OK. Before this inspection madness started I had high hopes for this site. If it wasn't so easy to upload they'd be even nearer the bottom of my priority list.

Newbie Discussion / Re: Complaints, why all these compaints?

I agree Sue - I'm getting drawn into unproductive discussion on here - time to get back to some (hopefully) productive work >:(

If you look through the site you will find lots of discussion about stats. Sometimes the site is of some value!

If you don't know how to use stats ignore them (or learn how to use them ???). Actually in this business they can be very helpful

If you are not confused by Istock clearly you do not understand the situation

Hopefully they cancel each other out. Not very nice though is it? - its one thing to not participate but disappointing you chose to mislead.

The only stats I rely on are my own

"That has nothing to do with site mentality IMO. It just means that more people see declining sales than share success, thus more people agree when someone reports bad sales."

Possibly but why when I look at the graph of stats submitted on the right generally trends seem flat? I guess we'll never know. It seems to me people like to share decline and keep quiet about success.

This years annual survey will be interesting.

A good example of the current site mentality - someone reports good sales on Canstock score on agree 0. Two people report decreases and get 10 and 11 thumbs up. We're doomed I tell ye!!!

I think there are a few reasons the industry as a whole is in better shape than this forum would have us think

It not actually in anyones interest to report how great they are doing it will encourage others

Those doing well are either disbelieved or marked down so they get bored with this

some people have an overblown sense of entitlement - there I've said it now

If I had a $ for every prediction of disaster on this site I could stop taking pictures of tomatoes  :D

Shame to see what I think of as the only competent microstock house with these problems......meanwhile my last submission has disappeared into a black hole.

If "LCV" shots are making money they can't be LCV can they? Customers will buy what they want to buy not what we think they should buy :o
