if your rejection came from shutterstock then you know they use an AI to review images right????
this dumb tecnology reads clouds and rain and snow as noise and birds in the sky as sports on the camera sensor lol
istock accepts everything ecxept from illustrations.they are very picky in that area
then its adobe so maybe they now do the same? they also use an ai to review our images?
the thing is AN AI is taking over the microstock world/ and some ai will deside if our picture is technically perfect to go on sale or not
its like with these stupid algorythms on instagram and youtube

i made my first template on ph today
10 000 a month
here i come :) :)

Hey gang.

I have a question about releases: I'm getting footage rejected, because I don't have a property release. The footage is aerial stuff of Copenhagen - just with normal housing and residental areas, no known buildings or landmarks.
Yet I see others having loads of material up, from everywhere in the world, with literaly 100's of buildings (including known ones), selling it as commercial clips (NOT editorial). HOW?!? How is that possible, and then why do I get rejections for some clip of a few simple apartment blocks....?

Please help me to understand this
hi if you are talking about shutterstock its not only you with this issue.they using AI and it does all the rejections for moronic reasons
have you send this video to pond 5? they ll  prob accept it and you can sell it more if it sells

Easy you put a watermark Big and a low res photo Besides when you upload something online you know someone will grab it At least low res files prevent the thiefs to use the image commercially which in that case they need the big size of the photo

And yet in the ss forums some users defend the ss with a passion.msybe these are also reviewers? Xmmm

56
i submitted a picture of a ufo i shot in new york couple of years ago.
i wanted to see  the outcome ;D
REJECTION REASON
A MODEL PROPERTY RELEASE
a PROPERTY RELASE??
FROM A UFO???
where can i get it from???
ET? :o

57
and all that for 24 p  ???

58
all you can do is hire a lawyer and sue them.its gonna cost you but there is nothing else you can do.unfo when you are working with smaller agencies its always a risk.

59
unfo adobe does the same thing lately.and now they using as a ecxuse for rejection, Image quality.i double check my images before i submit A and B   And since when microstock photography  was  only for  expensive full frame cameras and ff  lenses? use a nikon d3300 and a sigma 17 50 and it might not be in the same league with ff cameras but still the quality is very good. Not to mention that i now change  the wb in lr a bit so the image looks good at least in my eyes
if you dont want a specific theme in your galleries just say it so. we have too many of these images.shoot somethin else. case is done not the moronic oh noise artifacts IMAGE QUALITY duhhhhhhhhhhhh
and btw I BOUGHT RECENTLY A FF CAMERA but still in box cause of this * virus

60
just resubmit and they ll get pass.its not humans its the INFAMOUS AI

and to top it of they reject videos of good quality for the moronic reason of noise .i bought the app neat video for premiere pro and i tested it and trust me once you use it you cant find one single piece  of noise in the video
so what the heck are they seeing????? but yea its not humans its the bloody AI

62
the best out there is shutterstock even though lately they are on a big or lets say huge rejection roll .their AI likes to reject a lot
then dreamstime  its a low earner but i had sales on some celebs pics i got
and istock does editorial.but its limited .you cant post some certain images as editorial cause they are scared of copyright
and then we have the others
canstock
bigstock
and 123rf

63
if you want to be successful on yt buy a go pro 4k travel round the world and act like an idiot   or casey nastand in front of your gopro camera and the numbers will come eventually
also i agree the relaxation clips help a lot and the unboxing videos
i personally liked the videos he made they can be relaxing and you see beautiful places but unfo the majority of people in planet earth want to see stories and people like casey and pwesomethin lol

i ve heard in the past that people who resubmited their content for second and third time got warnings from ss for ban.isnt that risky??? i agree maybe some cases the reviewers are right cause in the end of the day the photographers make mistakes too as much as experienced they are,but in most of the cases the rejections have nothing to do with technical problems  Just an AI doesnt know what its accepting or rejecting or reviewers who like to reject just to earn more money

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND HAPPY SALES :)
i just needed to say somethin to this dumb thread ;D

Better to get one image accepted and one rejected in Adobe with one sale instead two accepted with no sales in Picfair. I like the site, but we are here to make a business.
i agree with you but on the other hand, look at the ss thread what is going on and at the ss forums.many want to quit submit images cause of rejections and the moronic rejection reason.and also that sale you say its 24 p or 37 p compare to 20 pounds or dollars or 10 pounds now this guy said that he earned
and i said ITS ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE.i am not saying quit adobe and ss and post in picfair only

still the best part of this site is the no reviews.i know this can be a not good thing sometimes but when ss acting like crazy lately with rejections, and on adobe i got a rejection the other day of a silver watch in a red background and the reason was out of focus DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.then for me it still is a good alternative

hi is this agency only for us contributors? they give you some contract to sign and send it but they ask the adress  you live in only  not the country like other agencies.and do you have to send them a set of 10 images for eg as a test like on ss to accept you?
are they difficult with acceptance?

you can shout, get ungry, upset, cursing all you want but in the end of the day there is nothing you can do about it.just submit new content and dont let it bother you.if they accept it FINE if not THEIR LOSS their site their rules.at site.
My only guess is that  these people who review the photos they  are lookin at the photos theme.
some bored reviewer hating his life and job and wanna shoot himshelf for scrolling thousant of  images and his head starts to go loco and says
nope
nope
nope
nope
ye em nope
nope
or some reviewer with no experience in photography
Nope
nope
nope
ye emm NOPE
nope
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooope

or some 18 reviewer who likes trolling
nOPE
NOPE
NOPE
ye NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE
nope
no
NO WAY HOSE

« on: July 07, 2019, 18:02 »
ok thank you i will do it in the traditional way with lr etc and leave the auto timelapses for youtube or insta.
iphone has a built in timelapse and the stock sites accept the iphone vids thats why i was wondering about the pentax camera.

General Stock Discussion / timelapses from pentax camera
« on: July 07, 2019, 09:08 »
hi few months ago i bought the pentax ks2 which has a built in timelapse and it does the job automatically.it makes a timelapse video in 2 words, i dont need an intervalometer for eg.or to ad the photos in lr and make a timelapse.there. i created some nice timelapses and i have the adobe premiere.so  my question is
do i need to edit my timelapses on adobe to send them to stock sites <pond five in the one i wanna send them> or send them without post editing?i am new to the whole video thing so i am not sure what the reviewers are lookin in timelapses videos apart from noise or artifacts.does anyone have a pentax camera and did you  send the timelapses videos straight from the box without edit?
