Hi Mat, I live in Poland and my earnings on Fotolia site are shown only in Credits, and my earnings on Adobe site are shown only in Polish PLN. I couldnt find a way to view from Poland my earnings in US dollars. So my question is: How many Fotolia credits equals $500?. I have earned 470 credits this year so far, so if 1 Fotolia credit = 1 USD, I hope to qualify soon. But please confirm.
Regards Chris
1 Fotolia credit = $1 for the promotion. You are almost there. -Mat

Does anybody know when it will be up again???
Thanks
We don't have that information available at this time. As soon as we can resume normal uploads I will be sure to update my post here in MSG and we will update the announcement seen at the top of the Adobe Stock Contributor Portal. Thank you for your patience, Mat Hayward

Hi all, Sorry for the delayed response, I had to take Friday off. Judging from the intensity of the conversation it looks like I'll never be able to do that again! I will do my best to answer the questions listed here. If I missed something, let me know. The first wave of codes were sent out on Thursday August 16. Anyone that met the required qualifications before August 3 received their code(s) then. A number of people have contacted me and said they didn't get the code. Most of those people did actually receive it, they just missed it because the sender was listed as "CompEXT" and was perceived to be spam. In some cases, it was actually sent to the spam folder so be sure to check there if you haven't gotten it. The email address the code was sent to is the email associated with your Fotolia account. Some contributors learned they hadn't updated their email address in Fotolia after making a change and didn't think to check their old email. If you don't have a Fotolia account then the code would have been sent to the Adobe ID you set your account up with. If you have met the qualifying requirements after August 3 then you will receive a code very soon. Likely this week though I don't know the exact date. The requirements are to have had at least 300 images, vectors or videos approved in 2018 with a 50% approval rate or greater....OR (emphasis on the word "OR") to have earned at least $500 in commissions in 2018. The disclaimer to the latter qualifier is that you need to have had at least one asset approved in 2018. This is noted in the terms and conditions: https://stock.adobelanding.com/contributor-giveaway-terms/To clarify...you do not need to upload 300 images, vectors or videos and also earn $500. It's one or the other to qualify and receive the code. If you are confident you qualified before August 3 and you have checked your email archives for CompEXT and you have checked your spam folder and still don't see a code, please submit a ticket to Adobe Stock Contributor Support. You can do this by clicking the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the contributor portal. Someone (likely me) will get back to you as quickly as possible. Please note, I cannot provide support through private messages in MSG and definitely not through Facebook messaging. I will no longer respond to requests sent to my personal Facebook page for this information (though feel free to follow me on Instagram @mathaywardphoto ...yes...I know...shameless personal plug ) There are still plenty of codes available to qualify for. If you haven't already met the criteria there is still time for both CC and CCP so get busy! I promise I will let you know in this thread if we reach the cap. Re @Uncle Pete: I'm reasonably certain that as long as you still have the disk or the software on your computer for the non-cloud version of PS it won't become invalidated from downloading the Creative Cloud version onto your machine. I have a request for a definitive confirmation of this and will let you know when I receive it. Thanks everyone. I hope you are enjoying your software and look forward to seeing what you create with it! Mat Hayward

I've checked and searched and nothing from CompEXT.
I didn't see anything about opening a case, but used the Contact Us from the contributor part of Adobe Stock, which I hope will get to the correct people
Exactly the same for me, thanks Matt for your help
This is weird. I searched my email and nothing there. However, when I was filling in my email search box, I started typint "CompEXT" and the field automatically got filled in with "[email protected]" indicating that there must have been an email from that address at some point. Nothing came back in my search...must have been deleted . Guess I will open a ticket as recommended
Okay, I just went on Adobestock site. I saw no way of opening a case, so I went into chat. The person at the other end wasn't even close to understanding the issue. I gave up and asked the representative if there was a way to put in a written request. The rep. said no, there is only chat and calling up an 800 number.
We don't have chat. You were at Adobe.com it sounds like. Go the the Adobe Stock Contributor Portal and click the link at the bottom of the page that says "contact us." -Mat

Is there anyone else who is qualified who hasn't received a code?
I'm in that situation, but wondered if the codes didn't all go out at once for whatever reason and they're not yet done.
A suggestion would be that in the contributor section on Adobe Stock, they could note that you were qualified/not; coupon issued (and perhaps put the number there as well as in email) or not. It'd save wear and tear on support staff
I've heard from a number of contributors who did receive the code in email but overlooked it when it arrived. The name of the sender is CompEXT. Double check your inbox and if it's not there, check your spam folder. If not there either and you are sure you are qualified please open a case via the Adobe Stock Contributor Portal.
Thanks,
Mat

Yes, that's what I meant about opening a case. I'll look into this for you today and will let you know what I find. -Mat

Hi all,
We have temporarily disabled all vector uploads at both Fotolia and Adobe Stock for maintenance. We will resume uploads as soon as possible and will update in this forum post when that happens. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Kind regards,
-Mat Hayward

For months and months now the lowest commission I have gotten from Adobe is 29 cents. Today I got a 25 cent commission. Race to the bottom? Discounting and making the contributor pay for it? Has anyone else had this? 😞
The minimum payment of .29 you referenced is based on subscriptions and is determined on your rank. The commission you noted was a Fotolia based credit sale which is paid a percentage based on your rank and the number of credits the customer used to purchase the file. The customer purchased an XS file for 1 credit. Your rank is silver so your commission % on credits sales is 25%. This has not changed in many years. https://us.fotolia.com/Info/Contributors/Royalties-Mat

Any updates on whether there are still packages available? I'm sure people would be more motivated to upload if they actually knew that they had a chance of getting something rather than all of them having been effectively given away before the promotion even started.
Yes, you can still qualify. -Mat

Im sorry if this is of-topic or i should start a new Topic for my problem.
I had a problem with payout on Adobe contributor, it was only showing Skrill, ( no paypal ) Also the currency was automatically set to Korean WON.
So i started a Chat on contributor help panel, i said to him that i a cannot find paypal but just skrill, He said he can help me, so he reset my account, my portfolio was gone!, but the worst my earnings also gone! . he said he was not aware that im an contrubotur and can not do anything, and repeated i should by a subscription, or converse my lost earnings in a subscription?
This is miserable, Adobe has made money with my content, but i got nothing!
Please contact us directly through the Adobe Stock Contributor portal by clicking the "contact us" link found at the bottom of the page so we can help you get access to your account. Your zone/currency cannot be changed. Contributor support does not have a chat option available. You likely contacted Adobe support who does not have access to your contributor account information. Please do not reply to this post in this thread. If you feel you must continue to discuss here in MSG, please start a new thread. Thanks, -Mat

who is that adobe rep again, can he let us know if the 20k free accounts have been given away already ? ty
To my knowledge they are not all accounted for yet. You should be getting a code within 6-8 weeks if you have had over 300 approved this year. -Mat

I don't want to tar all illustrator artists with the same brush, so sorry for including the 'good guys' in this generalisation, but from a lot of the illustrations I see... you'll probably get a bunch of contributors make some white, tubby, featureless character holding a sign, and then they'll just render out a version face on, and then one rotated 1 degree to the left, 2 degrees to the left... and before you know it, they've uploaded 360 illustrations from a mornings work. Criteria met!
I know what you mean, but these aren't done by "Illustrator artists". Those are rendered. I was talking about vector illustrations. But anyway: There are *some* 3D artists spamming as well as vector illustrators as well as photographers. Doesn't make a difference. They could have easily set different criteria (e.g. solely the annual earnings), if they're afraid of that. Plus, if they accept such, this is ... I was just tempted to say "not our problem", but actually it *is*. One of the biggest issues I, personally, have with this industry.
This is the reason there is a 50% approval ratio requirement in place to qualify. In my opinion this is a reasonable ratio that should be met by most contributors. The exception would be image spammers with the intent to game the system. -Mat

I'm with the vector illustrators and would be very glad to have my giveaway (I qualify for it, yay!) for Adobe Illustrator - sadly Photoshop it's not really useful for me in itself. It's nice news nonetheless, but would be truly great news for us to be able to use it for what we need and work with. Is there any chance to have this changed in the future?
Thanks Mat!
I guess you can get a single app subscription for $20.99. That mixed with Photoshop and Lightroom would cover most of my needs and save about $32 a month. I guess if you are doing a lot of side work in InDesign or other programs then maybe not. I'll have to weigh it all out.
Well, that's all assuming that you can run 2 plans at once Photo Plan and Single App plan. If not, then back to square one.
I have confirmed that yes, you can have both a CCP subscription and a single app Illustrator subscription running at the same time with the same Adobe ID. -Mat

I don't think that is in the plans right now but anything is possible with future promotions. The feedback has been noted for sure. Thanks again! Mat

@Liorpt "I got the email, I know I qualify, but I cant see how to redeem this wonderful gift. Also, I have a subscription that ends at December. Will I be able to redeem it then?" Qualified contributors will receive a redemption code in the next 6-8 weeks. Per the FAQ regarding your second question "If you have the exact same plan as the one you are awarded (CC Photography plan with 20GB of storage, or CC All Apps plan) and you redeem the code using the same Adobe ID: At the time of redemption, with the same Adobe ID, billing is suspended for 12 months if you have a monthly plan that is billed annually. If you paid for the full year in advance, the year of your CC giveaway plan will start once your prepaid year is over." @Pokemonmaster "He wanted to say that as a (vector) illustrators, we don't need Ps+Lr subscription and can't get full CC, because it requires 300 video uploads." -Duly noted @ForrestBrown "What happens if my Adobe Stock and Creative Cloud accounts are based on different emails and not connected?" That shouldn't matter. You can redeem the code you receive with any Adobe ID. @wds: "So if we have not uploaded >=300 assets but meet the $500 sales criterion we still qualify?" Yes, that's correct. Though you should still have uploaded at least 300 assets. If not...get shooting right away! @Brightontl: "Great stuff Mat! Keep on rocking!" Thanks much for that though I can't take the credit. Adobe Stock has a very strong team and ensuring contributors are taken care of is a top priority. It makes me very happy to be able to communicate with you about this promotion for sure! Thanks everyone for the feedback and questions. Keep them coming, I'll be checking in all day. -Mat Hayward

Is this for Fotolia contributors also?
Yes, as long as you have synced your account with Adobe Stock. If you haven't done so yet, please visit contributor.stock.adobe.com to sync up and qualify for the giveaway.
-Mat
If I sync now I doubt I'll be in the first 2,000 chosen. Are there any other benefits to syncing accounts?
Sure, there are plenty of benefits to submitting through Adobe Stock. Top features include the ability to edit keywords on approved content, an unlimited number of assets allowed in drag and drop upload feature, the ability to upload directly through Adobe Bridge and/or Lightroom, auto-keywords and custom portfolios. -Mat

Not true! We definitely love illustrators! I understand you are referring to Adobe Illustrator specifically but it's important to note your vector uploads and earnings from vectors do count towards the CCP giveaway. -Mat

I qualify for the over $500 part (not by much though... have made $616 this year), but how do I know if I've qualified for the 'first 2,000' part... any ideas?
If you have already met the criteria as you mentioned then you should be qualified. There are still opportunities for contributors to earn CC. -Mat

Nice!
Is there a way to split apart video and photo sales in the insights page? I'm not seeing a way.
Any rewards for After Effects Templates creators?
Hi Sean, No way to split the stats between photo and video at this time. I'll be sure to mention that to the development team working on enhancing the existing tool with more advanced features. I'm not aware of any program specific for After Effects template creators at this time. Thanks, Mat
