MY files and my partners are there too. Seems a bit blatant to display images from any agency with the full watermark still there if they aren't a "partner" of some kind.

123RF / Re: 123 Payment delay
« on: April 19, 2015, 02:23 »
Paid on time as usual. I am in the UK.

153
I never had any.......

154
Another update.
All but ten of my images have gone from cstockphotos.
No idea why the rest haven't gone but I will keep emailing them until they have.

155
A quick update in the interest of fairness.
I have received a very prompt reply  email from Yaymicro who have agreed to disable access to my images on the Cstockphoto site and volunteered to opt my images out of all new partner sites.

156
I have had a reply from Narin at cstockphoto.
He has confirmed that he is a reseller for Yaymicro and says that the license terms are the same as Yaymicro.
I have replied that as I have not authorised my images for resale through his site as a Yaymicro partner I repeat my request for him to remove them.
Let's see where we go from here, though I suspect I will end up having to delete my account at Yaymicro and say goodbye to the money they owe me.

157
For anyone who still has a portfolio at Yaymicro, I would suggest that you check you API settings.
I just checked mine and found that I had automatically been opted in to about four new partners.

158
I haven't uploaded to Yaymicro for a long time but now I may delete all my content if they are going to allow this crap to happen.
I have checked that my images are there (cstock) and sent them an email saying that I consider their usage to be illegal and requesting them to remove my images forthwith.
Any bets if I get a response or not.

Same here. CTR must have nothing at all to do with sales if mine are anything to go by.

Off Topic / Re: Legal: shooting photos in public places
« on: March 09, 2015, 01:28 »
So far I have never been stopped by the authorities in the UK but there have been many times when I have been miles from anywhere shooting agricultural landscapes and been approached by anxious farmers who wanted to know if I was from the ministry.
Seems like farmers in the UK are more oppressed than photographers.

Unable to log in here too.

CanStockPhoto.com / Re: Processing photos
« on: November 27, 2014, 14:51 »
I have suspended uploading until things get back to some kind of normal. Vector uploading has been a total lottery for weeks and now when they finally get approved they sit in processing for weeks.
I just hope they will let us know when the problems are fixed not just when they are fixing them.

I recently had a short spell of uploading and processing working properly after contacting support but I have had to contact them again about illustrations getting stuck in the unfinished queue.
I also have approved photos stuck in processing.
Seems like their system needs a thorough overhaul.

New Sites - General / Re: dubistock
« on: November 04, 2014, 13:09 »
Just checked one category of pics on Dubistock and pleased to say that none of mine are there now.
Interestingly enough the only ones which are there are the exact same images which appear on Dollar photo club plus a couple of totally misplaced irrelevant images.

Just opted out of Their PP today, maybe that will stop me getting any more 16 cent downloads.

DepositPhotos / Re: "The insane Depositphotos deal is back ..."
« on: September 18, 2014, 10:29 »
I have just made the decision to stop uploading there after my last two larger than subs sales were both refunded. I do not believe in giving refunds from the contributor's cut anyway as I have very little confidence in any agency's willingness or ability to chase up unlicensed image users.

Shutterstock.com / Re: UK National Trust
« on: August 29, 2014, 00:31 »
I don't suppose that Shutterstock would take the risk, but under English law the National Trust can not legally impose such restrictions on photos taken of their properties IF they are taken from the public highway or other public areas which are not specifically restricted by order of government or local authorities.

Other than photodune which I never uploaded to you seem to have stopped uploading to exactly  the same sites as I have and for exactly the same reasons.

Nikon / Re: Spot on inside of lens
« on: August 23, 2014, 08:23 »
I have a 5D MK 11 which is a real dust magnet but Arctic butterfly soon removes sensor spots, just need to be careful and ignore the fear mongers who would have us believe that using anything on a sensor would be as damaging as running over the camera with your car.

When I started contributing there I had hoped that they would succeed but I have never had more than the odd random sale there so when they started with random block rejections i stopped submitting altogether.

My account is now unblocked within one hour of sending a (poor) scan of my driving license.

Came home from work to find an email asking me to email a copy of my driving license to Vicky.
Guess I will have to do it or I can't access my account to do anything.

Thanks for the info.
Not sure I want to do that for no good reason. If I don't hear from their support without having to phone them it might just be the last nudge that I need to delete my portfolio there.

General Stock Discussion / Login blocked at Depositphotos
« on: August 11, 2014, 17:24 »
Has anyone experienced having their login blocked at Depositphotos without notice.
I am waiting for a response from their support but wondered if anyone had any prior experience or thoughts on why this might have happened.
To the best of my knowledge I haven't broken any of their rules or given them any other reason to block my account.
