DT moves with multiple speed of light. 24 hours at DT are as long as 6 days here on earth. Or the battery in DTs clock is low, who knows?

Adobe Stock / Re: low sales on ft, but ranking rises
« on: January 13, 2015, 18:13 »
If it's of interesst for you (or anyone else). My wife joined Fotolia 3 years ago, but lost interest pretty quickly. Untill today her revenue was around 20 Euro. (with a couple of pics, maybe 10 or 12). She began with around 12000 in ranking, but fell quickly to 22000. And there she is still today. With other words - if you reach the sonic barrier of 22000, then you're doing something wrong 8)

This post is aimed particularly at European, non-English speaking providers. Fotolia was particularly strong in the German-speaking parts of Europe. Therefore a lot of contributors, especially, of course, from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, used to have German keywords. Do you think the weight will shift now? Is it better to change from German keywords to keywording in English? What are your thoughts about this particular problem?

Donated, hope it will help you!

Finally, minutes later, I had the 28$ on my account. NOw how can I delete this thread ?  :D
You should learn to be more patient in generally I think.

Do you have a PayPAL-Account? I don't like spread my card-nr. out in the world, and donate easy and sure via Paypal would be a solution.

For the future, it will probably be necessary to supplement the MR. It must be signed, the photographer can not be held responsible for the misuse of images. Will donate today.

I found my FILE be used by some website but how can I know Which websites have paid for my Picture. And which websites did not paid to me?

That will you never know, unless you are an exclusiv contributor and your agency gives you all information you need  for following your sales.

General Stock Discussion / Re: 85mm or 70-200mm or both?
« on: January 01, 2015, 18:15 »

If I had to pick one Id certainly go with the 70-200.  I love using that lens.  It is great for stock as you can get two shots from one composition (a close up head shot and waist up shot).  It is sharp and fast enough for stock and very versitile.  Add a 24-70 and you have all the lenses you have lenses enough for anything.

I almost agree. but add a 105 f 2,8 lens, than you have really all lenses you need. The Nikkor 105 has the best bokeh of all Nikon objective in my opinion and gives you the additional option of Macro-photography. And, last but not least, it is comparatively cheap!

Norsk / Dansk / Svensk / Re: Skatt pa intakter
« on: December 28, 2014, 15:10 »
Tack for svar.

Mvh, rde-orm

Germany is fine. Unemployment is going down and much lower than in many other countries, people are highly educated and a lot of our energy comes from home grown eco friendly wind/water/solar. It creates jobs in Germany, drives new technologies that can be sold abroad and makes us independent from crazy countries. Also our economy is 70% middle class businesses with a huge variety of services and technology,so we dont depend as much on a few superlarge cooperations.

Plus people are really good at insulating homes, buying cars that use little gas or foregoing their cars completely, because we actually have a fully working public transport infrastructure. I sold my car in 2009, havent needed one since.

We hate taking loans and are careful with credit cards and people plan their financial lives very carefully.

So I know we love to complain and it might all look depressing from the outside, but this is overall a very safe and friendly place to live.

Must be another Germany where I live 8) ;D
