I was putting keywords, descriptions etc. in Xpiks but if you keep that file for future use you have extra side files to store as well so now all keywords, titles and descriptions are done in Lightroom. Then I upload to most through Xpiks. I wasted so much time when I started by not putting that information on in Lightroom.

The micros rename the file anyway so it doesn't matter one bit.
I also thought it wouldn't matter since they rename them. Is the original name somehow stored with the file and searchable? On import the date is added to the front of the file in case of doubles and to find the file but otherwise that is it.

The one advantage is that you can update keywords. I also like that it shows views on the pics on Adobe. I still prefer to use Fotolia... Just don't like change I think.

Anway, DT is totally dead for me.
Took me too years to get there. Not sure when is the next time I'll make payout again. It's only $100. If they get hacked, it's not a big loss.
Two years!! In that case it might take me ten, haha!! What size portfolio do you have? I have 450 but have been slowing adding to it. They really should reduce the payout figure, even Alamy have reduced theirs.

I also got the 1c for September. I wonder why it doesn't show on the daily chart, only the monthly view.
They are maker it harder and harder to see what is happening. The hard part for me is that iStock is my number 1 earner.

Zalee, you are doing really well compared to me. I joined DT in January 2016. I have 219 images and only 2 sales. My images don't even show up in searches. When I searched for pine, pine cone and cinnamon start all sorts of images came up but not mine even though other images didn't have a cinnamon star. I am doing very well on SS. My food images don't sell. What kind of images do you take that you sold so well on DT? I search for my images, scroll through 20 pages or more and they are nowhere. They do show up when I search on other websites.
I'm sorry, I've only just seen this. Well 25 is not many but it really varies as I have a bit of everything in my port. I've sold some editorial, some people, even nature such as butterflies and flowers and also some travel. I'm not sure why you can't find your images, if I put my actual title in I can usually find them.

You are already able to re-edit kewywords. From adobe stock, not fotolia.

Hi Mat,
Will we be able to edit our keywords and titles at all? I have a lot of files uploaded when I started earlier this year and my keywording was a mess. I haven't spammed but my keywords could be much better and more relevant. I imagine a lot of people are in the same situation.

I had around 250 images when I got my first small sale on Alamy, I was very excited and thought it was the start but I haven't had one since. The sale was back in August and I've been contributing since March. I now have 400 images, 10 zooms and 1700 views. The image that sold is not available on SS or FT so that might be why I got lucky. Maybe my other zooms led to a sale on one of the micros. I am now trying to upload images only to Alamy. I think I also need to review my keywords on Alamy.

iStock is the most confusing site! The amount that I received overnight would have been PP wouldn't it? For the life of me I cannot find what it is! I've even started taking screen shots but that doesn't seem to have helped at all.
Sometimes i get adjustments for a few months back....usually only few c so I don't bother to much to chase them down. They even had those mysterious "non-internet" sales once......
How do you tell if it's adjustments? It's a few dollars so it's not worth worrying too much about but it's driving me crazy that I can't find it.

Go to your home page, and be in the stats tab (shows charts).
Change the Gross Royalties (daily) to monthly - this is important.
Hit the tiny CSV button next to the words Gross Royalties, to open it in a spreadsheet.
In my speadsheet it's column X: Admin Adjustments.
This is the most recent non-credit-sale payment to have been made and relates to the difference between ordinary subs payment and subs package payments. (These latter don't seem to be being promoted ATM, at least I couldn't see it when I looked into plans and pricing on my page. It was claimed it was a targetted offer.)
And there it is! $4.32 and all the previous amounts I couldn't find!! Thank you ShadySue, without you I would have no idea how to read that site!

My total earnings increased for about 4$ yesterday and I don't have a slightest clue, where is this coming from....I checked PP sales and that hasn't changed.
And this is not the first time. Sometimes my earnings increase and I go back a few months to check my monthly totals and they haven't changed or increased, so I have no idea where is this money coming from....
Mine was $4.32 I also have no idea

cos the total changes as I say I don't track it too much for me its only ever cents rather than dollars

Hi Eric. I use Easy Release which is an app for phone or tablet, Apple or Android. All agencies accept it, it's great as I always have my phone with me. No need for printing anything, just use the jPeg it makes. I made my own before using Easy Release but some agencies don't accept them.
