Mat, will the double plan-issue be resolved or is getting two plans and cancelling one the permanent solution here? Just asking to know whether I should wait with redeeming the code.
Quoting myself to bring this up again, since I didn't see a reply.
For now, I recommend contacting customer service via adobe.com for assistance. They should be able to provide you with a replacement code that will extend your current subscription.

I seem to have worded my question poorly, as this wasn't what I was asking.
I would like to know whether I should hold off redeeming the code to avoid this problem alltogether and whether Adobe has any plans to fix it in the future. If the problem will still occur in a month, because no one is bothering to find a fix, then it makes no difference. If Adobe plans to fix it, then I'd rather wait instead of going down the frustrating customer support route.
My expectation is for a fix to be in place. If you can wait, please do so. Thanks, Mat

Because no body answer on this, ask again :/

What we to do with this problem? On Adobe support I do not get any valid answer

The main issue is that, independently from the availability, it was working before.
So, maybe Mat would care to elaborate why they are suddenly kicking contributors out of the programme?

As I got all the creative apps I have a question:
I already have a subscription for photoshop and lightroom on the same account, will this payment stop automatically or do I have to cancel this subscription?
This question has been asked in a couple of different ways here and the answer applies to all. If the subscription you currently have is EXACTLY the same as the new subscription provided with the bonus code, then you can redeem the bonus code and the expiration date will simply extend by 1 year.
If however, the subscription you have is different in any way (such as the amount of cloud storage included) then redeeming the bonus code will open a new subscription running in parallel with the old one. You need to cancel the old subscription or you will continue to pay for it.
As many of you have discovered, the codes are applied to the contributor portal for those who have qualified. Thank you to everyone for your active contribution and helping to make Adobe Stock what it is. We are truly grateful to you for your efforts and hope you enjoy the year of Creative Cloud!

I think what may have happened is that the "generic photography plan" of a year ago is not exactly the same as the "generic photography plan" of today....so I ended up with a parallel subscription.
OK, thanks for the report. I'll look into this and share what I find out. It's possible there is a change I'm not aware of. Can anyone else confirm they redeemed a code for EXACTLY the same plan but instead of extending the expiration, a different subscription opened in addition to the existing sub?

Mat, have the same problem as you described. Now I have active two Photography plan (20GB). The number of applications varies, but I didn't check it before activation...
In this case please contact Adobe customer service directly. They should be able to help get you sorted out. Sorry for the hassle! -Mat Hayward

I am seeing more reports of new subscriptions being added instead of extending existing subs. Since it's a holiday in the US, many folks are off today. If you haven't already redeemed your code, and you have an active subscription. I recommened holding off until I can confirm whether there is an issue or not. Thanks for your patience, Mat Hayward

This sounds like good news - but I'm puzzled about the need to check during the week to learn if we qualified. Is there something other than total downloads and being active (20+ accepted assets in 2023)? Unless the US is no longer included in the acceptable countries, I think I'm good

Same here, no longer get anything more than $1.01 My last $1.42 was on 1/14/2024
Now overwhelming majority are 0.32 cents. My downloads are growing, but % of $ that I get are getting lower and lower.
Plus my bestseller sales disappeared in January.

Nothing appears out of the ordinary there @Mifornia. No need to send me an email. The royalty rate remains at 33% of the price paid by the customer. The rate paid by the customer varies based on the plan. The Pro plans have rates that fluctuate daily based on the usage of all subscribers. Thanks, Mat

I will answer your question with a similar question: How long is a piece of string?
There are too many variable to consider for a catch-all answer to exist. If all the images are part of the same series, you will be better off splitting the batch up and submitting in various intervals. If they are all unique and different, there is no harm is submitting all at once.
Use common sense (don't submit 10,000 at once for example) and you should be fine with whatever you choose. Trial and error will help you find the sweet spot that best works for you.

That is correct. The 1099 is based on royalties earned. The cash out amount is not relevant. If you were paid a royalty in 2023 but cashed it out in 2024 the earnings would reflect in your 2023 1099 and not 2024. -Mat

The first ten keywords have the most weight in search results. You can add up to 49 relevant keywords. They all play a role in search. As long as they are relevant, you should add as many as you can think of. The tool here in MSG is effective in providing useful keywords. Spend the most time focusing on the first ten, the rest is helpful, just not quite as impactful in the results.

Could you please advise if adding keyword composed of 3 words is a good idea or shall I separate all words?
It depends on the context. Would the compound keyword appear in the dictionary that way? A good example I like to use is "Golden gate bridge". That makes sense as a three word compound keywords. I would also list separately, the individual keyword "bridge" but I would not use "golden" or "gate" individually. "Red dress" is an example where you should list two separate keywords "red" and "dress" individually and not together. Hope that helps, Mat Hayward
