Great job Leo.

I've updated the theme and added the latest and featured images. Featured images doesn't work for me either. I added the category "Symbiostock Featured Image" to 6 photos, but they don't appear.

I added the Featured images as well with no results. It won't let me edit the slug (it adds and extra "-image" to the slug) and it says the slug is already in use.

I have featured and latest images.  Tried very hard to make both of them full with along with the text but could not manage it.  Used Home Page CTAs (what are cta's?) template.

I only found the templates yesterday, kept wondering what everyone was going on about as I was hunting for them in the child theme edit area :)

I worked out the problem with my featured images - it was mentioned above, but the solution that worked for me, was to go to the RF Images: Image Categories in the admin page. Then find the Symbiostock Featured Image category - mine had the slug as symbiostock-featured-images-images. I edited that by removing the final "-images". This worked OK for me, so now my slug is "symbiostock-featured-images" and the home page works as expected.

I tried that but it keeps saying its already in use elsewhere. I checked my keys but no luck there either. I'll keep looking...

Just to confirm latest images is working for everyone? If slug says featured images images then delete both images words and submit symbiostock featured....it will append images. Ill make it si category uses it and not slug

Featured images works great for me. :) Latest images won't show. I didn't process images for a while, which could be the reason. I wonder what "latest" means, anyway. It would be nice if the "latest" date range could be customized rather than being hard coded.

I don't know if this has been reported before:

When I resize my firefox browser window to a width smaller than app. 800px our menus completely disappear. Hope that isn't a feature  ;D

Why you should never use Comic Sans, it's now completely outlawed in Switzerland...

Featured isn't working for me, I've edited the slugs, deleted and tried again, edited keywords..no luck. I think somewhere it's saving the slugs I did wrong the first time around.

Thanks, Matt, for posting this link. I didn't even know a font can have such a bad reputation. :o
I sort of like Comic Sans. Guess it just proves that I am suffering from dyslexia  ;D
Anyway, it is far from being a love affair. So I'll definitely try finding a less hated type face. Any suggestions on what is hip today?

If you want to update and reinstall (not crucial if you have your Featured Images) working, here you go:

https://github.com/orangeman555/symbiostock/blob/master/symbiostock.zip?raw=true

This small update merely makes the featured images less dependent on user input....so you can change the slug and its fine. If you delete the Featured Images category it will also tell you it must be re-activated. Quite user friendly now.

I tried, but it still won't let me edit the slug (says its already in use). No worries, its not that important for me to have right now. I'll see if I can figure out where its storing the slug (its not in categories or keywords).
