I haven't been able to access my Veer Dashboard in almost a week. I've tried from different computers, and even from different networks. If I go to "Workspace", it's fine. But if I click on Dashboard the wheels just spin until I get a Timeout Expired message.
Anyone experiencing similar issues?
Same here, but now it eventually appears. I go for coffee or pick up the guitar.

I do both photography and illustration. My meager sales on GL have been a 50% split been the two but the photos that have sold have been quite GRAPHIC.

The new MacBookPro with Retina display could be a major improvement. I personally will never go back to a desktop machine. http://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/

No I wouldnt do that. I had the best laptop ( still have) that money can buy and still the desktop with Eizo monitors, even my iMac-27, is far superior. Laptops can not be calibrated properly. The X-rite, colormonkey is the only calibrator suitable for laptops and even so, it cant be done properly.
I would't go with just a laptop alone, you definitely need a larger view to work properly. One thing I've noticed is that subtle color changes are not always visible on the laptop. I've been going back to the larger monitor and making adjustments so the image will work on both. We don't know if the image will be viewed in print or perhaps on a smart phone.

After 8 wonderful years I put my Mac Cube / Cinema display into retirement because Adobe's new applications wouldn't run on it. I'm on my fourth year using a MacBook Pro that I attach to a 24 inch display at my studio. Lots of power. I bring the laptop home every day so I can continue working. Laptop hard drives are vulnerable to bumps so I try to be extra careful with it.

Not to pick on just Stockfresh because I could level the same complaints at Veer, Photodune and many other newer sites.
The difference being that Veer and Photodune both produce sales.
Stockfresh and Veer? An odd comparison considering Veer is my number three earner and Stockfresh has yet to produce a payout.

Surprisingly, my BME on DT.

They rank 6th out of 9 agencies for my portfolio. High acceptance rate, decent amount of sales. Their RPD is being helped by the new single image sales, but overall I do much better with Veer. I know this doesn't add up with the overall poll results, but I get an overabundance of EL's through Veer.
Same here, they are number 6 for me. June has been a BME but I'll never rise above contributor level 2 / 35% commision which means a 15% cut.
Interesting that most of my ELs have been on Veer. It's number 3 for me right after SS and FT.
Going from 50% to 35% is a 30% cut.
Oh yeah... pardon my math!

Sorry for the ignorance, I am not an AI expert (only uses it for silhouettes), but why do you not just export directly from AI to JPG format?
There seems to be two schools of thought on which is the best method. Going the photoshop route gives you more control on the final size of the jpeg document. I usually make them just under the 25 000 000 pixel the SS limit. That size will also give you the Standard XXL size on FT. I just did a comparsion of my most recent image and noticed that the photoshop jpeg matched the illustrator document while the illustrator direct to jpeg didnot.

Could be that after the last sneaky price rise, angry buyers have used up their credits and gone elsewhere. I've been expecting this to happen.
This is probably what has happened. Why pay more?

Now I can see the problem, but I have no idea why this problem has happened.
Anyone have any experience with this? Vectors created in Illustrator CS5, then opened in Photoshop CS5 in RGB mode and saved as highest quality JPEG (12).
Seems to be just a problem with gradient banding, not anything else - but why would this have happened when saving to best quality jpeg?
Look forward to your thoughts
I've noticed that when banding appears in the Photoshop jpeg version it's already in the Illustrator file. Especially when using greys and blacks like your examples. If you work in cymk, instead of using a color like c=0 y=0 m=0 k=100 in gradients you could try something like c=60 y=50 m=50 k= 80. It works for me. If this doesn't help see what happens using a blend instead of a gradient. Oh yeah I'm still using CS4.

I noticed that as well a while back. This was a good reminder to have both forms of the main keywords on FT.

Is Alamy an European agency?
Seems to be based in the U.K.

I've never ever had a really good month a DT - just poor or OK. No real big sellers or ELs but 50% of my images had been downloaded at least once. Hoping for more!

I have been submitting vectors to SignElements (formerly isignstock). It is pretty easy to submit vectors there by FTP.
I have long submitted vectors to Juha Tuomi's site Rodeo in Finland. I have definitely made enough money there to make submitting worthwhile and Juha is a nice guy.
Thanks for the Rodeo tip, since I'm in Finland I gave him a call and decided to apply.

If most of the top contributors left sites like FT and 123RF or gave them an ultimatum I would join them. Until they get together and do something, I might as well forget about it. I tried not uploading for over a year with istock after their commission cut and that just lost me money.
This is the real of dilemma of contributor rights in microstock.

Sales at DT seem to pick up in the last couple days of the month. It's only the 22nd - anything could still happen.

Once again, images accepted at all sites but not at DT. One DT reject from 6 months ago has been downloaded over 100 times at SS including OD's and an EL.

Looks like my pathetic 15$ is actually quite a good month then !!!
Compared to my 50 cents this month - you're doing great.
