I do more illustrations but for photos I use a the first generation E-P1. If you set the zoom lenses to their sweet spots you might get lucky. I've invested in a couple of Lumix/Leica prime lenses and I'm on the lookout for a higher quality M43 back for the right price. Here's one kit lens shot I got lucky with: http://graphicleftovers.com/graphic/tennis-ball-out-on-clay/

As a newbie I know with this company I will be at a disadvantage over seasoned Pros....
I wouldn't waste any energy worrying about it.

Why give it away when it seems everyone is fighting for images to retain value. I think you'll be sending the wrong message with that kind of behaviour.

Shutterstock is like THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN with Fotolia a steady second place. January was my worst month in 2012 but 2013 turned out fine.

Yeah, kind of tricky to fill out. I tried to answer them the best I could. The ranking thing was tough. I'm not on a lot of those agencies, and I wanted to use Other for 1 and 3.
You should have able to select more than one "Other" or "0". Now you have agencies with a rank that I don't submit to.

My sales are pretty well all over but I've noticed that certain images sell better in different parts of the world. The SS map is great and wish other sites had something similar.

I think your problem is simply this : a watched pot never boils
I agree, with Canstock it's better if you don't hold your breath waiting for sales. They eventually surprise you positively. Visually the site is looking good these days. In addition to being a contributor I've also downloaded from them.

I made it on the second try a little over a year ago. My first attempt consisted of my best selling photos on other sites. I was disappointed and really didn't know what to do next. After a few months I came back with ten vector images - all accepted.

Miss pin maailmaa vaikutat?
Yritn lyt suomalaisia sen takia, ett hiukan phkilytt nm jenkkien verokaavakkeet. Perustetaan juuri nill hetkill yritys, jolle kuvatulot siirtyy. Thn asti tulot tulleet "individual" periaatteella. Eli jos vaikka sattuisi trmmn johonkin jolla on yritys kytss kuvatuloille.
Mutta onhan se muutenkin kuulla toisista suomalaisista
Kyll, terveisi tyhuoneelta tlt Ertorin laidalta (Herttoniemi). Oma toiminimi jo 20 vuotta - graafikko. Niss microstock kuvioissa on selkempi olla vain henkil. Tulot kuitenki laitan kirjanpitoon kohtaan "Veroton myynti (Royaltit)".

I've got a Level 0 image on DT that was downloaded as an EL on SS last week. On DT's scale its SS sales add up to a Level 3 image. I've got quite a few images that are selling elsewhere but are dead at DT. Could be search placement or buyer demographics?

This is my BME on DT but I have the feeling it won't last. Please prove me wrong.

That's was Mr. BeHereNow.
It's been a while since I heard Alan Watts speak at U of Toronto 1972. Wow that's 40 years ago and still basically doing what I did then.

Yeah, I just sent them an enquiry before coming on to MSG. The images appearing on the map as Latest Sales aren't being registered in Earnings Summary.

I've around 90% acceptance rate at Veer. No complaints. They're my third best earner after SS and FT.

If you've ever worked in advertising or design you'll know that Sunday is the day when the phones don't ring and there are no meetings. When the heat's on it's the perfect day to catch up.

Slow start? I'd say no start, dead, nothing, a big zero so far this month.

No, no one actually saves a files in this form. Its a bug in Adobe Illustrator which I also face many a times. You apply a normal radial gradient and after saving the file in eps10 when you again open that file it breaks the gradient in many parts. Getting these types of gradient is not good as it makes your file lot heavier and un-editable.
I've had this happen as well. You can miss it if you don't reopen the eps10 file. I try to use blends instead of radial gradients to avoid the problem.

I got into SS in October of 2011, second attempt. I currently have a protfolio of 94 images and averaging around 125 to 150 downloads per month. As of today day 113 for August. My images are mainly vectors SS rejected most of my background images.
