BTW - I love your site, but your lightened text at the bottom might be a little too light. Stylewise its great, but there's a certain amount of contrast is needed for viewers who have eye problems...but then its unlikely many eye-problem-viewers would be image shopping... n-e-ways just a best-practice observation.

Thanks, but point taken. Fixed!

Leo, I don't know if you forgot about it or it has just got a lower priority level but I will make sure it is not forgotten just in case..

- you know when you click on the little magnifier icon, a pop-up window opens with larger image preview.. the sizes that appear to be available there are not really the sizes I made available.. for instance: I have Vector enabled but it doesn't appear, and I have blogee disabled, but it appears there as if it was available..

- also, not a bug, but I would prefer the images not to be clickable.. I see no point for the image to have a link to itself.. I'd prefer if there is a consensus about it, but if not, it would be great to have the ability to set image links to "none".. in usual WP posts I can, but on symbiostock image edit section, I can't..

Thanks I'll add that.

Clickable images - possible SEO value. Please set up a vote or something. I have no problem changing it. What I can do is disable the link in javascript. Nice compromise? Link = importance.

if it's crucial for SEO, let's keep it.. my current site has no image links and a lot of images appear on google images.. If you say it is important, then there is no need for a poll.. I am not informed enough to comment about it's SEO value..

also it would be great if "priority levels poll" was reset..

download expiration has already got 6 votes and I know a few more people, including me would have voted for it, if it was there from day one..

I am pretty sure it would get nearly as many votes as extended licenses.. :)

Regardless of how informed people are, even the BEST SEO is still a mountain of speculation. Let me look into it. The symbiostock tool's main strengths are aimed in networking and SEO, so let me keep looking into that. By tuesday I should have a lot of these issues addressed.

Keep reporting them! I need that list up there!

btw Leo,

I want to add a favicon but wanted to ask your opinion.. what's the best way?

- should I add it with a code placed into header or,
- use a plugin?

or would it be easy for you to have an option in the settings that people can link to a favicon image they uploaded? (just like the logo image)

Just upload a 16x16 icon file called favicon.ico to the site root, replacing the one alredy there. The code to load it is already in the WP core.

ETA: Whoops! No it isn't! I must be seeing a cached one...

was just about to say that, but you realized fast enough :) I will get a favicon one way or another..

what I did before was add a code into the header.php and place favicon.ico into the root.. just wanted to explore other options..

Which I've just done... It's something I've always done at the start when hacking themes, and the header.php doesn't change much on the standard base themes, so it just gets left.

Yep, bullet points and I think numbered lists also don't show up properly - no bullet or number.

I added first thing to bug list. I'm not clear what second thing is talking about?

That is strange. It should eventually though. If not I'll look into it. Some of these things wordpress only updates occasionally.

I'll be out for weekend. Monday I'm going to attempt to blaze through these bugs. I wish I could have someone update the original post with bugs like you've mentioned. When those are gone that means things will be working very smoothly.  Most of them are easy and ten minute fixes. Rest of week mon-fri I have entire days dedicated to this project.

I don't know if it's just me but, featured / latest images only work on "HOME Page Simple" template..

if it's working for most, how do you guys get latest images show up on other home page templates? (I tried all widget areas)

I have the featured one working on Home Page CTA.  I put the widget into "Home page below content" container

we can no longer "turn off" comments.. in previous versions I turned the comments off on WP discussion settings and it was done..

now, no matter if I globally turn the comments off, comment box still appears under my images..
