I'm getting these ominous sounding warnings under my parent theme.

Fixed. It was that theme-updater plugin which I no longer need for this theme.

Farbled caught a problem - important one (this time wordpress, not the theme) - so I've updated to work around.

Download: - You can afford to wait on this one. Its not crucial.
https://github.com/orangeman555/symbiostock/blob/master/symbiostock.zip
https://github.com/orangeman555/symbiostock/blob/master/README.md

If you create a category name that matches one of your keywords (which in the use of this theme with its users is very likely) you will get 404 on either the search page or the category page on that term.

This update changes the slug(url element) of your category term and appends "-images" to it which will keep it unique, upon category creation. It won't effect the title.

So if you submit "dogs" your url will have "dogs-images". But your title will simply say "dogs" for that category.

Thanks again. With every problem we fix, future users will have it that much easier. This theme really needs to be user friendly to non-wordpress users. Keep submitting bug finds. I'm done here for the day.

No idea if this is a bug but my SEO Ultimate keeps picking up 404 errors (just a few, not a lot) with this URL:

http://mywebsite.com/font/fontawesome-webfont.ttf

Did I screw something up?

Grrr. I'm still having category issues. I'm getting blank search results when you click on the category results. Anyone else having this?

The names of the category slugs changed in this release - did you program anything specific to make it work differently in the past?

Nope, just did the standard stuff.

I actually deleted all my categories and started fresh. What's happening is that the caterogy results either come up with nothing found, or they come up with the results from a  different category

Hmm, I'll reinstall the theme and maybe try using the categories that came with it, and just rename them and see if that works.

Hmm, that's a weird one.

I didn't install the latest update(s) yet and added my own slug "-images" to it. At least I don't have to deal with custom categories that had the slug "-2" (those I couldn't change back to just the category name!) in them...

Other than that, my custom categories work fine. Results are correct here as well.

I'd also recommend a new install of the theme. Don't forget to deactivate and reactivating it.

I think that is the issue. This latest build changed the URL slugs of the categories to add -images to them all, and the search function by category now looks for that extended url. You can edit your own categories to change the url slug, or you could get rid of yours and take the standard ones and move forward from there.

Thanks, I'll give it a go with the installed categories. i've ried everything else with the slugs and re-naming etc. You can see the wrong results here: http://photominingstock.com/earth/ just select any category and the incorrect results come up. Very strange...

Yes.  I got frustrated yesterday and took a rest.  I might update theme later today to see if anything changes.

FYI - I did add/change a few categories.

Well I just reinstalled the latest theme and added some live pics to some default categories. No luck. It either gives me no results or incorrect results. Maddening...
*edit: still not finding for some specific search keywords either.

We are all guinea pigs. Your inconvenience now (and mine, the constant revisions) is saving 1000s of people issues when this starts moving faster. When self-hosting becomes the norm and a large part of one's income, I hope this theme/tool is even more advanced than other areas we are used to. And as easy.

Hopefully that question gets some good attention.

Well, i did some progress. Right now i'm testing new user register and i think we (or me) have a problem:

I try to register a user named "joao"

Put your name and mail.

Receive a mail with password

Back to login page and put name and password

I expect to be placed in main page of my site, but i receive screem below.

It's my fault? Some user preference configuration?

Hi Leo

I updated to the last theme and maybe find a bug on pricing. I put price at $100 for medium it is displayed on the media gallery correctly but when I see the picture online it is only $1, what a  bargain:)

do you mind if I buy it now :D !?

Easy - right now a 100.00 format is required. Will be more flexible soon. Note the .00

I hope so, I think this might be my last area needing work. Although I have not yet looked at the mobile side of things yet. :)
