For fun a few months ago I sent SS a request that I was interested in becoming a photo reviewer. They responded back to me in a couple of weeks . I didn't not save their email but it went something like this. It was a very nice and polite letter. Thank you for your interest in SS. At this time you just don't have the experience we are looking for as we have other applicants that fit our requirements better. Thank you from SS. So I guess my dream job will be on hold. Now for my background. I have been doing stock photos since Mosses came down form the mountain. I have a small site on SS and most all the other top sites. I get small sales from most of the sites daily. I have sold/published over a million photos in my time on earth as a photographer ..again over a long time in the business. So maybe someday I can get my dream job as a reviewer. I can only hope and pray....W.Scott McGill

Deposit photos for me is OK. If I upload on FTP it is very easy to load pictures.. I get around 30 cents on most sales. I do get a few sales everyday so the site is not a dead site as so many of the small sites have become.

SS is a great agency. Most likely the best. Twelve years ago I made twice what I make today with less than half the photos I have today. I still make good money but as they say " The old girl ant what she use to be "

Capitalism seems to be working great in America.
Not really. Income inequality has never been greater, for profit healthcare has skyrocketed costs, and people have to work three jobs just to afford housing and food. Something is broken.
Sean didn't your mom tell you to not become a photographer. She most likely told you to be anything but a starving photographer.

I asked the Adobe Stock Latin America and they told me that they would delete all the content from the Venezuela accounts. So, it's very sad. Really sad. All this work to be gone. Hope that you have a backup of all data that you entered in content?
Yes, i have a backup.
I'm glad to hear that, Alexander.
And yes, George is right. Your situation is sad.
Unfortunately, lots of things are sad in this world today. I'm 73 years old (for context
born in the USA the year after WWII ended), and for many reasons I consider this the most depressing time period I've lived through.
I'm especially sorry that problems you did nothing to cause and can do nothing to fix have hit you so directly. You have my sincerest sympathy.
Thank you, very much! and yes, the world today it's very difficult to live, i don't know how it's in countries called first world, but in third world countries with hyperinflation like Venezuela it's like hell. Several countries in South America now have very strong social conflicts, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, Venezuela and others. Communism, socialism, capitalism and neoliberalism, I think they are models that no longer work.
Capitalism seems to be working great in America. Our unemployment has never been lower, saving funds have never been higher. You are correct Communism, socialism, and neoliberalism don't work. I am not even sure what neoliberalism is but I bet it is a failure also. America is not perfect by any means but Capitalism dose work, you work hard, study hard and you keep your wealth.

Here is the problem about winning judgements. You really may win nothing. You can win a judgement in court, BUT getting the folks to pay you is another story. These copyright infringements are not criminal judgements they are just a letter from the judge that states someone owes you something. If they don't want to pay you and most likely they don't, you will never see a penny. Best lawsuits are with corporate 18 wheelers that have big pockets , not copyright infringements.

Do your own research on this . Doctors in America make on average three to four times more than most Doctors in the world. In the UK an average Family Doctor makes around 70K per year. In the US the same doctor makes around 180K. A lot of the really good doctors of the world come to the US and leave their beloved countries for the money. In Taiwan a Family Doctor makes maybe 45K a year. To make up his or her money they see 10 times the numbers a week than US doctors. Just to make money. Most US doctors work five days a week. In Taiwan six to seven days is a normal week . Yes American medicine may be screwed up but I will take it over an overworked, underpaid world doctor any day. I guess world doctors are like stock photographer , it is all about numbers.

Good healthcare is in America. No one said it is affordable. Poor folk in America can get good healthcare with Medicaid for free or little cost. The middle class has the biggest problem with the cost of health insurance. If they have no insurance no hospital will turn anyone away in the ER room. My son who is a doctor tells me his hospital only gets about 15% of people that pay their ER bill. I pay 1500 dollars a month for my healthcare for my wife and myself. That is with a 3500 deductible. If you want social medical care , go for it. Not for me....

For now there is nothing that can be done, other than waiting for some change from the administration.
Many of us are looking forward for a change OF the administration.
and many of us are very happy with our administration.

Why didn't he get his operation in the UK if the care is better there and free?
Most likely because he could get it done faster in America. Universal healthcare is a safety net, it isn't unlimited health care at the snap of a finger. As far as I know, universal healthcare in all countries that have it, is rationed. The government has a certain budget each year for all its spending, it then decided what percentage to allocate to health care, then the public servants decided how much money to allocate to each type of medical procedure. For people who are lucky enough to be well do to in those countries, most likely they can purchase supplemental private insurance that allows them to get services in the private sector. They pay for the privilege to get more and speedier service. No different than driving on the freeway and paying a toll to drive in the fast lane. Or paying for expensive parking in the busy downtown district. People can have what they want if they want to pay more for it.
Case in point. My niece was having a baby in the UK. She had only the UK healthcare not the supplement insurance which you can purchase in the UK at a high cost. They would only allow her to use the UK birthing center for her baby deliver. She was 40 years of age and argued that she wanted to have the baby delivered in the UK hospital. Not allowed by UK folks for her. Sure enough she nearly lost her life and the baby's. Her blood pressure shot up to extremes during the birth at the birthing center. They did rush her and the baby after the birth to a proper hospital and they had to stay a week in the hospital to get all corrected. All worked out but she and her baby were very close to going to the next world. If she would of had the supplement insurance as she told me she would have been allowed to have her baby at the UK hospital. This was all in London. Best health care, I don't think so....

Keep in mind what reviews get paid. I am not sure what it is now but a few years back it was 5 cents per image to review or reject. To make money in an hour at that rate you can't put much judgement into reviewing.

I am very glade you got treatment fast. That is not the norm for Canada. I hope you are doing better now.

According to the Fraser Institute report... Canadians who need medically necessary surgeries waited longer than ever for treatment with average wait times hitting 20 weeks, a new Fraser Institute report concludes.
Bahaha, the Fraser Institute says it all right there. The South Park of responsible studies.
The Fraser Institute has been a Canadian think tank for over 40 years. By the way Bahaha you did not say how long you had to wait for your three free surgeries ?

Sean I have been to all those places. Very high taxes, some have free health care but poor care. Many of those people with money come to America to get great heath care. Even Mic Jagger came to California to get his heart worked on. He is from the UK and they have really poor free health care. Not even sure if Mic would have been cover because of his old age in the UK. Sean it seems you clearly like Socialism in America. That is your right. For me Socialism is just a pre- word for communism. Sean is the world going to come to an end in twelve years for our abuse of the pollution in the world. You don't even need to answer that, AOC says it will come to an end.....We all know AOC is so smart...
Canada has very good healthcare. I know because I experience it, and I haven't had to sell my home to pay for it. The only out of pocket expenses for three different surgeries has been parking.
Change "socialism" to "subsidy" or "bailout" or "corporate tax break" and see how quickly the those pesky anti-socialists change their tune...

Venezuela is not a socialist country, its a country taken by a bunch of crooked drug dealers ruled by an ignorant clown (Banana Republic Donald Version) supported by Putin
Socialism starts out with noble intentions, preying on the envy of the population( American Democrats) to let the government level the playing field with promises of equality and more government support. But, the quest for power (and corruption that always comes along with it), coupled with the impossibility of having a small number of people efficiently allocate resources, leads to the same outcome every time. Venezuela, Cuba, China case in point.

I don't know who mj007 is or where he/she lives, but I have noticed that it's usually people who live in the taker states and use our "socialist" programs the most who yell the loudest about "socialism." I rarely hear anything about fear of "socialism" from the giver states that pay the most in federal taxes and prop up the taker states...in fact, we're willing to pay a little more for the betterment of society, and that includes helping the "socialists" who are currently using up the tax dollars we're already donating to them but are simultaneously terribly afraid of so-called "socialism."
Texas...We have a great economy. Our unemployment is almost zero. The housing prices are going up because of all the California folks moving to Texas. Why move to Texas, We have jobs, no State income tax, cheap housing cost and we love and carry guns. The folks that are moving to Texas which is about 50,000 people a month love the fact they can buy a 4000 sq foot home under 300K. Try that in California.
Texas gets about $1.40 back in federal benefits for every $1.00 paid in federal tax. Taker state. That's why you can buy a house dirt cheap there...we're supporting you. California gets 90 back for every dollar. Giver state. Delaware gets back less than 50 per dollar. Giver state. New Jersey, where I live, gets back 85. Giver state. New York, 80...giver state. You suck up all our tax dollars and then whine about socialism. I say secede and fend for yourselves.
What % do you pay in State and local income tax in New Jersey ? What dose this state tax do for you.

No, none of that is fact. You made the claim, you provide proof. That's how an argument works. For instance, if I say "Unicorns are real", I don't rely on you to confirm the statement. It's my job to back it up.
What you did, was cobble together bits and pieces from here and there with some incorrect numbers and claim it as some vague party platform. It isn't.
So, stop running around waving hands in the air crying out SOOOCCCIALZZYMMMMM!!!! - it just looks silly.
Sean I will leave this with you as I am out for the day. My wife just told me most photographers are Socialist , that is why that would chose photography as a profession. She did tell me no offense to me by this....Have a great day Sean, I hope you make lots of money in photography as you may need it to pay for your future Socialist taxes.

I do know what I am talking about. Sean try paying 70% of tax on what your income is. That is what the New Socialist Dems want. They have even stated that amount. Comrade Bernie will need at least 70 % to pay for all your student loans, free college for future student ,free heath care for all including illegals. 70% may in truth be low for the Socialist Dems. Yes I forgot the New Green Deal. You will not be able to use anything but solar or wind power. Who will pay for this yo Sean..it is Socialism.
Literally none of what you said is correct. Again, sorry. It's like I'm reading one of the crazy emails my relatives send me.
Sean I bet you think Hillary won. What I stated is fact you can look it up. Frankly I could care less what you think. If we go Socialist in 2020 we all lose. Have a great day buddy....
