If I'm a serious buyer I'll create an account at storyblocks, I'll have their 400,000 photos for 149$, and I can license any picture in their marketplace at 3.99$.
But FiveDollarPhotos isn't targetting that market, it's targetting people who just need one or a few images at a time.
I know, but this is another competitor that the owner of fivedollaphotos should be aware of. The big buyers will go to the big agencies (shutter, adobe..), buyers with lower budgets will go to storyblocks (maybe envato?), the other buyers who buy few pictures per year from fivedollarphotos will barely be enough for their Operational costs

Can I ask what you mean by 'Motion Graphics Templates'? Premiere Pro templates are Premiere Pro templates, and you've had After Effects templates for a while... so I'm just wondering if it's just 'Premiere Pro Motion Graphics Templates' or whether it is actually 'Premiere Pro and Motion Graphics Templates'. Thanks!
looks like something related to templates created using the new "essential graphics" in AE and that can be used by "essential graphics" panel inside Pr: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/creating-motion-graphics-templates.html

We absolutely need to be able to select a thumbnail for Adobe to be considered a real player in the video space.

I've been reading of nets of less than $5 for Getty Premium Access video.
Does that minimum only apply to drone cityscapes with full commercial releases (as they say 'creative'. But then they have the bizarre category of 'creative unreleased'). Are they going to protect these specific files from premium access? Or are they somehow disingenuously declaring that 'Getty Premium Access' isn't a Getty sale?
Who knows?
I've got some sales with less than 2$ for my completely unique drone clips, my prices were 500-700$ at Pond5 for those clips!! I quit Getty directly after couple of sales like that, really disgusting.
Do they sell at $500 to $700? If you're getting one sale a month, per clip, then happy days! If it's one a year, then not so much. Not questioning your pricing, just curious!
The majority of my files at Pond5 are priced at 70-78$, about 20% are priced between 200-700$ and I sell at least 3 clips every month of those (+ many sales of the regular clips). I've tried Getty for 3 months and it was a big loss of time where 95% of sales were from premium customers and for pennies, even other RM sales didn't made big difference

I really like Mircostockr Pro. One request though: Could you allow multiple accounts per agency? This is important for iStock/Getty now that my iStock account and my Getty account use different logins on the same system.
This is important for me to, I have 2 accounts at Pond5

There are no longer capable agencies for selling this type of material. Getty doesn't care if the image is a RM seascape or a an exclusive image of the first alien creature discovered by you. They will make the same silly discount and they will sell that unique image for cents sometimes, small figures most times and maybe a larger figure once in a while.
100% true.. I was very happy when Getty called me to be a contributor 3 months ago. Later I uploaded some of my best clips (I'm video only) as exclusive, many of those are completely unique. This type of shots I usually price at 500-1000$ at Pond5 and get some sales almost every month there. I was completely surprised that most Getty sales are under 25$ for those clips, and what I get for selling 5 unique clips there is less then what I get for one sale at SS!! I don't say at P5, but at SS!! I wrote to the support yesterday to close my account, and I hope this nightmare ends soon

A comparison of footage sales between Adobe Fotolia and Shutterstock. Who is better?
My sales at Adobe Fotolia are practically at zero. At Shutterstock my footage sales are great. Others?
Same experience here

Pond5 - 3 sales RPD $22.38 .. iStock - 13 sales RPD $5.74
Good work, but I think your rpd at Pond5 should be at least 35$ (mine is 57$), if the same content is selling well at SS you will earn more by rising your prices at P5. Also I believe you should remove your account from Istock, their video rates are humiliating (I did that long time ago and now I'm really happy for that)

Are payoneer currency rates better than paypal?
Payoneer is better for countries other than US and European Union (Middle east, China, Afghanistan, Eastern Europe..)

84 needed to reach 500!
77 now.. I hope this petition will make SS respond to that old request
