Am I understanding correctly? Are you guys saying that pizza workers make $18.23/hour in Denmark and $17/hour in Australia??
Here they make minimum wage, which is $7.25/hour. Something is wrong with the US if we are paying this much behind the rest of the developed world.
Maybe I misunderstood?
Minium adult wage in Australia is AUD$15.96 per hour There are lower wages for juniors which are the majority of workers in Pizza shop chains and Mcdonalds etc. Under 16 years of age $5.87 At 16 years of age $7.55 At 17 years of age $9.22 At 18 years of age $10.90 At 19 years of age $13.17 At 20 years of age $15.59. Doesn't taken an einstein to work out why mcdonalds employees as many juniors as they can. Taxes are higher in Australia although if your earn less than $18200 no income tax.

Do people who use this service expect every single possible keyword added or a reasonable amount that are most likely to attract sales.
i.e. for a picture of a horse do they expect keywords like mammal, alive etc.

each agency has their own system of categories - highly subjective and of questionable value -- mostly it's just a time waster when submitting
i dont know of any agency that reads categories from meta data
Some suggest them based on the keywords in the image.

Why does the search load faster than when I search on istock ?

As expected not happy, only full time and most talented contributors can maintain 50%.
Subscriptions which make up majority of my sales will have the largest % reduction.
I have now stopped uploading to 123rf.

I am trying to decide which agencies to join and see which are the ones that i am going to blacklist.
Can any veterans here tell me Which Agencies is the most Stingy and cheapest so that i can blacklist and avoid.
123RF, at 20cent per downloads???
Well if you're starting out you will be getting 25 cents for subscription downloads on Shutterstock, for full res. images. In terms of stingiest as Leaf says, "If you want fewer sites because of a poor deal for photographers I'd probably cut out iStock, then Fotolia."
So will these 3 agencies be on the blacklist?
When IS were giving 20% to contributors, most people were happy as sales were great, now they give as low as 15%, which isn't massively different from 20%, ...
I beg to differ. It's a 25% pay cut which is quite massive indeed.
+1

When the RC was announced I stopped uploading to Istock for many months. When it was clear that not enough people were boycotting I resumed uploads. Lasted probably 3-4 months

One of my absolute hates is the ones where its keyworded
fiji,somoa,tahiti,hawaii,tonga,etc.
Unless your in the space station with a wide angle lens your not going to have all of that in one shot.

Yeah I should work harder bringing in buyers so you can pay me 16-17% if I manage to get a sale buried in the best match sort behind 500 agency shots.
They want it to be purely business decisions when it suits them and We're all in it togther buddy-buddy when it suits them.
Get $%%3d Istock. I will never ever refer a single buyer to your store.

I just hope all the buyers that have been driven away haven't gone to Thinkstock.
20% for independents Get rid of Vetta and Agency spamming the search.

I couldn't find the bit about the "cheapest"
From the FAQ
"Buyers also demand good prices. There is only one way to get the best price on ANY good or service, and that is to reduce the distance from the producer to the buyer. We DO NOT compare prices, instead we send the buyer to the base agency (where the image was uploaded first) or directly to the photographer (if they are on the PicturEngine platform) to get the best possible price. "

Another load of BS about how you can even earn higher %, rewarding the good contributors. Then people with more than 5000 photos are either losing % or at best managing to stay even. Throw away your bootleg copy of the Istock Management 101 book now before its too late.

Nobody uses the 25/day everyday, especially on the weekends.
This statement is incorrect. I know buyers that download every single image they are allowed to, regardless of any week day.
Almost nobody

yes percentages can be misleading.
The orginal poster used % and people prefer to use them because they aren't giving away all their numbers. People are reluctant to use exact $ amounts

"There are seven denominations of Canadian coinage circulating: 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, $1, and $2. Though officially titled the One Cent Piece, Five Cent Piece, Ten Cent Piece, Twenty-Five Cent Piece, Fifty Cent Piece, One Dollar Coin and Two Dollar Coin; they are colloquially referred to as the penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half-dollar, loonie, and toonie, respectively."
