When I joined them in 2005, after the second try, you had to wait 90 days to try again. I have no complaints...I get a payout every month from my meager port.

I've been getting weird sales where the commissions don't match what it says I have. They're off by like 1 cent. Weird. I'm already at Big Stock. Slow seller just wish things would pick up there a bit more.
Same here. It happened twice to me and I notified support and they corrected it. I'm betting it has to do with their posted prices. RE: .99, 2.99 etc

A while back - can't remember exactly when they began a Pay As You Go program
The breakdown is here: http://www.bigstockphoto.com/faq.html#HMWIEA
Thanks Steve...I missed it...good to know...jp

Strange, unless I missed something. I just sold an image there for $2.70. Normally it's .50/1.00/2.00 etc. Anyone else notice this? Thanks...

This was posted by SS forumguru (admin) this morning:
"Hi all,
Thanks for the feedback. We're working on two different issues: 1. Images disappearing from search and affecting popular search results 2. Images disappearing from portfolios only
The first issue is nearly corrected and we should see the results of that very soon.
The second issue is more of an on-going bug that we are working on but it will take a bit more time to reverse that. But keep in mind that the second bug will not have any affect on search results, downloads or images appearing on any other part of the site other than your own portfolio."
Cross your fingers...

Great news. I hope the others will follow.

I would think that the "Big" guys already have something like this in place to check on their partners. If they found out that the partners are "skimming" off the top they would be gone in a heart beat. If they don't have a check method I would be surprised.

I would think they are more interested in selling subs and not the images. The less images the buyers take the less money SS makes. Isn't that how they make out?

Well, disregard the above....it appears they must be reading here because they changed the rejection to approved...had to be an error on the reviewers side....anyway, thanks DP....jp

I'm beginning to think these people aren't sure what they are doing. I got this rejection yesterday for "The photograph infringes or seems to infringe a copyright or trademark. We do not accept images of objects protected by copyright or trademark, such as logos or other objects that are the intellectual property of third parties." Please tell me, is God mad because I took a picture of his/her lightning?

Strange, I uninstalled and re-installed a second time and it seems to be ok now. It was like it was constantly polling. It fluctuated between 30 and 50 percent processor usage. I'll let ya know if it happens again....thanks Bobbi

Hi Bobbi, I'm getting a high cpu usage, around 50% with the tool bar installed. It worked great for a long time and no issues. If I disable it firefox goes back to normal. Any ideas what might be causing this and possible fix. I really like the bar and miss it...ty

I've had a major drop in overall sales since Tuesday this week when they implemented the new search option. Re: I have the number one position for the keyword "emergency" that netted at least 4 or 8 d/ls a day and now have had only 2 in three days...all outside the US. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
If you're referring to the image 69519853, it comes up first in both the popular and relevant search results. Summer's coming...
What's really funny about this image is that it was rejected by IS for focus and "no resubmit"....there loss. SS rocks without a doubt! Anyway, my sales seem to be picking up a little this afternoon...relevant or not. Fingers crossed...I hope everyone does well!

I just went to check "relevant" and it's no longer available to me...any way, thanks for the heads-up. I checked it last night when I had relevant, and it didn't even show on the first page...they might be "tweeking" it...
